You’ve got a free experience and a paid experience. What that means is in the game you will go into a region and different tiered versions of that region. T0 is free and you can get T0 illuvials. If you want access to the T1-T5 regions / illuvials. You’ll pay to access them.

It certainly does. The practice mode is super catered to learning now though. You get to replay the wave you die on if you choose to, I found that very helpful

You can get an extensive experience with only T0 but if you want to collect them all, just like Pokémon cards, you can choose to pay for it!

Yeah just hover and it all pops up. With each augment... You also have another 8 or so options to choose from like +12 attack speed, +8 omega etc etc as well as the augment itself so, you can also see the two options they have selected. Super deep this makes it too!

We were playing on 3090's & brilliant monitors with headsets too so, in comparison to my crappy laptop, the upgrade to vfx & sfx literally blew me away, it's ridiculously good graphics!

The thing I'm most looking forward to after playing it.... Is the practice mode with all the little tweeks made to it, the biggest one for me is the fact you can retry the wave that you lost on... That's going to help with replay ability for me as I've got kids & not a lot of gaming time. Not to mention the fact that if you choose to restart a fresh game, it's starts with a new deck & different waves so, we'll all get to learn the new illuvials & Augments a lot quicker that way. Instead of waiting 24hrs to try new 1's.

This concern was brought up a while ago, as it means leaderboard rank, when wave totals are fairly close, don't really mean much, since the waves and deck were different. No one seemed to care much about the competitive implications. It's more just a fun thing to add a lot more variety.

any sort of survival competitive has to be played with the same parameters (deck, opposing waves, ruleset, etc.), otherwise it makes no sense

But also illuvials will not be able to be caught for free except for the T0 illuvials Doka, Grokko, Fliish, Volante and Atippo.
The other illuvials T1-T5 will require you to pay a travel fee, shard curing fee and more 🙂
