It’s theoretically possible, but it would require some very innovative game design to find a use for each players pet zoo.

First person shooter? Erm throw an illuvial like a grenade?
MMO? Hmm have a bunch of Illuvials follow you around like a pet class in an rpg? Yeah I guess that could work.

It’s possible, but I wouldn’t assume that you will use your illuvials much outside the core auto battler.

MMO Illuvials would be characters. Same in FPS. Illuvials are main stage and centerpieces of the games

Perhaps with an Illuvikart game (like Mario Kart), if you own one of the Illuvials... say Archie, then you get Archie as a driver on your kart 😄 I don't think every Illuvial would be a possible driver in a game like that, so you'd probably have to find the right Illuvials in the Overworld (or buy them on the IlluviDEX) if you want to play that game.

And of course if you want your character in that game to be holo or dark holo-- a bit more of a grind in the Overworld (or more money spent on the IlluviDEX) to make that happen

When it comes to a possible FPS, I wonder about the feature where Rangers can bond with a particular Illuvial. And that's about as far as I got with that LOL. But in a case like this, your character in the FPS is a Ranger and then... owning the Illuvial would allow you to bond with it just like in the Autobattler, granting different perks/bonuses based on the Illuvial.

Complete speculation, of course... but the possibility of Illuvial integration into and FPS is still there 👀

What do you guys think of the idea of taking more of a minimalist approach with character ability descriptions in autobattler? FromSoft does this with the Souls games and while some players take the time to figure out all the percentages with damage buffs, damage negation, etc, most don’t. And I think implementing this would make it so it’s not so easy for someone to just do the math to figure out the best combinations regarding team mates, augments, etc. And it would look a lot cleaner.

I had the opposite suggestion in my feed back report put all the info in the ui, highlight opposing illuvials that are on the board when you mouse over the ones in the deck , when you hover over the board it show's a ui of everything that tile and illuvial itinteracts with . . It should be balanced so a brand new person has all the info a person whos studied for 10000 hours has . Let math an placement be less important. Whoever gets the W is the better player for that match

It should be like that. If you spend 10000 hours you HAVE to have an advantage. That’s basically a law lol. The point of removing the numbers to me is to make it clean. Content creators can then take the time to figure all that out and offer the info to the community. FromSoft mastered this. All the numbers get out regardless, but the descriptions are a lot cleaner, still get the point across, then the community does their due diligence in figuring out the percentages.

Project management is very present within internal operations among all teams, with very high level people. There are internal deadlines for everything. We just don't share those dates publicly anymore.

This was made clear time and time again in the past. It was the community that actually begged us and Kieran to stop releasing dates, because of the FUD when a deadline would be extended. The community spoke and the team listened.

In the RW many projects get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and stakeholders have these explained to them and can either agree those delays are justified or pull the money. The same is true here, anyone who can't pull due to being staked has done so by their own choice.

The difference here is the DAO and the fact that community gets so much say. That has been the cause of some of the delays, like Illuvitars. It's also the reason we are no longer given dates, as the community screamed to not be given any.

As far as IZ, I agree it is frustrating to wait. I wanted to play long ago but as an investor (and a player) I would rather wait on Grant and the team to make it spectacular rather than have it "on time".

A Lot of things are done similtaneously so they also can be sustained similtaneously once they are released.
