you can notice also the difference in their atk dmg power. yours has level 60 with atk dmg of 217 while the other one is lvl 52 but has 244 atk dmg. but then this is a bulwark and primary stats should be HP and Res, yes. maybe because as ive said, the $306 one is well-balanced

Do you mean Stage? You need to fuse 3 of the same illuvial (only possible at a certain Xp threshold+Gem is needed) for stage 2 and then the same process for stage 3.
There are 3 stages for all illuvials.

Have you guys experienced that on some days the value of runs consistently feel like they are eqaul to a lower tier run? Like today the droprate of epic shards in stage 3 is like the droprate of resplended shards were yesterday in stage 3. I found about 20 resplended yesterday and only 1 today. The stage 3 illuvials I see today are shitlynxs and that's it. I have no idea how this algorythm work. I completely accept that not all runs are equal, but now I'm getting the 10th stage 3 run in a row that feels like a stage 2 in value

The players on pc catch them and ppl on phone put in orders for t0 t1 t2 t3 , ppl playing in overworld wold just see in right side and complete... right before entering or checking the illuvium inside sell to phone players for some tokens. I think that's probably because IMX is a layer 2 on Ethereum

so what you'd probably want to do is add IMX to Metamask on the Ethereum network.

You basically just purchase a bluetooth controller that is compatible with your Mac, set it up and configure the controls from within the illuvium app and away you go.
Some commands stay on keyboard but most of the movements and abilities can be configured on the controller itself making it much easier.

Also if the two stats next to a specific stat is 0, then there is no arrow pointing to it. i.e. if your attack and Omega power are 0, then the Attack speed shows up as 0 as well. but it could be 50%.
So in theory you could have a 50 / 0 / 50 / 0 / 50 / 0 Hexagon and it would show up as 0/0/0/0/0/0
But again this would only show up in the battle if you right click and shift, not during scan or during capture

try catching a 0/0/0/0/0/0 if you encounter it in the battle and check the stats before you press "start". then it may end up being significantly different. Like my Lynx here: it showed 0/0/0 for both resistance, Omega power and Speed. Then it ended up being 50 speed 😄

yes you enter the encounter singularity with R -> then you right click an illuvial inside the fight, and you can hold shift to see its stats.

and then if it's good, you catch it. if it's bad, you press Escape and enter the next singularity

This is probably also why we see so many more 0 stat illuvials than perfect stat ones. As they aren't 0 stat, but just have 0 on every second stat.

Since you need 6 T5S3 Illuvials for a for full deck at most 161 people can have a full deck and play arena competitively (and only ascendant on top).
Nice competitive scene you can build with that.... If anything we need more like 900k T5S3 Illuvials. Real worth will be found within holos, dark holos and perfect IPs but sure lets talk about artificially created nft values. Pokemon cards got their value years after they stopped printing the card.
With 25 usd for a single Illuvial you can't have any sort of bigger playerbase, but I see web3 arguments are still strong we will need more pain to burn these arguments down.

In OW you pay, the first runs are always bad, because you need to farm shards, you fail fights, Illuvials escape, you get bad spawns and so on. Arena + packs would have worked. As it is now OW has to be a real game and therefor can't be expensive per hour played. ILV-labs played themselves with this. Maybe, it is the best to sit this out and make the 2nd batch of Illuvials really cheap by increasing fuel output.

Except arena isn't the main game, only arena players keep repeating that. The main game can be different for everyone. Maybe you don't enjoy OW but nobody is forcing you to play it. Many new features are also planned for OW, we all know that. Just be a little more patient.

I'm actually not a fan of changing those stats up, but rather give additional stuff to illuvials on top or next to the stats. (Talent tree, additional overall stats like "durability" which would increase all defensive respective offensive stats with an overall stat like "damage" or whatever.).
I don't like to mess with those stats after cought, but i could imagine systems on top of it, which kind of divides the strength of a single illuvial into different parts, where stats are just 1 factor (by far the most impactful factor 😄 )

However, team actually are in the position to write their gdd which then has to be approved aswell, and they are as flexible with that stuff as they like, so we might see a mechanic messing with stats in their GDD.

maybe @marsh crypt has a good idea how to introduce a feature messing with the illuvials stats. 🙃

200 points, you place a lura worth 40 points -> 160 left. Then you try capturing a Lura, and you spend 40 every time you try it so you have 4 chances.
If you have 1 point remaining, you can still try without issues. So you would prefer placing a lynx instead so you would have 165 points remaining. 4 tries on the lura, and you have 5 points left. then you can try a 5th time

it's all about the mastery point cost. so when you start an encounter and want to catch something specific, keep its points in mind. Right click it and you can multiply it to see whether you have 1, 2 , 3 or more tries.

always try to get at least 1 point more than an exact amount. So 130/65 = 2 tries. 131/65 = 2.015 ish = 3 tries.

how to detect a valueable illuvial?The thing is that I started playing yesterday and am confused what to do or not and I see many illuvials and am afraid i might miss a good and strong 1

well first of all, each illuvial has a tier. whenever you enter an encounter you see a few boxes at the top. in this image you can see 3 bars -> Tier 3. The higher the tier, the better something is!
Then there is the Stage. there are 3 hexagons with one to three filled in. It's the difference between a charmander and charizard. Stage 3 illuvials are more uncommon than normal ones.

Finally there are the stats. When you enter an encounter you can right click an illuvial and then press Shift to see its stats.
The ones with maxed stats are better! usually people aim for at least 3-4 max stats before catching something like the second image with 5 max stats. 🙂

Yeah, I'd say in general don't worry about the exact weights, just use some common sense 🙂 Illuvials tend to hang out in areas that resemble their affinities. So you're more likely to see fire/earth in Crimson Waste, air/nature in Brightland Steppes, and water/nature in Abyssal Basin. But any Illuvial has a chance to spawn in any region (expect for the paywall barrier of course)

and as you say, the weights will be rebalanced as more regions are unlocked

If you really want to get rid of them you could just burn the NFTs directly, but they might be worth hanging on to just in case we add something to do with them later. There have been various suggestions on how to handle them, but I don't know what the design team is planning

It was happening to me too frequently. It seems like the problem was with loading the game into RAM or the RAM instruction read by the CPU. I fixed it by lowering the RAM latencies, removing the overclock profile, and leaving them at the default 2133. I think it can be solved with a better CPU.

i got x2-3 shards most of time (lower that epic), 2-3 different shards from 1 rock, without duplicate ore. you can just check - do 10 runs with duplicate ore, then 10 without. but i'm sure - duplicate ore work only for ores, not for shard/gems.

The duplication mechanic is mostly a holdover from earlier versions, which you can still see in the big deposits. Every deposit has a number of "slots", and each slot may have something in it. The small deposits have four slots, you just don't see them in the interface anymore. So you can get up to 4 items from a deposit, and you'll see the x2 or x3 if more than one of those slots have the same item.
Now, if you have a duplication upgrade, then each slot with an ore in it has a chance to be duplicated. But we never implemented a good way to indicate that you got a duplication, so it's not really clear in the UI whether that x2 is just because there were two of the same ore in the deposit, or because you actually got it duplicated

The Attack speed would grant you a more energy, so that would allow you to cast quicker. Since its Omega ability is boosted by OP and HP, you got the 2 best stats.
Sadly you don't have the resistance, as the Fliish heals itself and thereby could tank a bit more had it had more resistance but that is something you may be able to fuse onto it later.
Attack damage with 39 base damage is peanuts anyways.

From the 6 stats you got the 3 most important ones imo so Great catch!

the Tier denotes the strength and rarity of an Illuvial line (and other materials), and all Iluvials in the same line are always the same tier. Stage is the progression along the line, like the "evolutions" in other games

lines = +10% every. you have 6 different stats with 10-20-30-40-50%. total 6*50% = 300% full ring of stats

what is with this drop rates.. i dont get any t5 shard anymore, even t4 are so rare .. and a guardian essence, why is this so rare ? t2 or t3 runs all the same

15-20 runs. drop-rate not high, but sometimes i got 3-4 from 1 run, sometimes 0.

If u aim to get shards, you shouldn’t shoot plants, and not yellow rocks, that should increase your respledent shard numbers. Use superior equipment for reducing mining cost, and you’ll prob get 2-3 resp per run

I just made a point, I know what I need to do, even when I go just for “green” deposits, its the same.. dunno its just bad..

Green deposits very rarely contain resplendent, at least from my experience. Only rare shards. It’s the gray rocks that have most of them

T0 ia actually more expensive than you expect, because most people are not playing it at all. Btw, a 4x +50% is not that easy to find too.

Since holos are fairly easy to find in T0, only fusable are worth something. This one will be hard to sell for anything above 10 cents imo
