No one person is ever a one thing. We are humans we are complex and we have different attitudes in different situations. Plus we grow, we change. I think housing is more like just focusing on the strongest and most dominant parts of the personalities in that moment in a lifetime. I also think 11 might be too young to sort people into houses. In any case from 11 to 17 can be a very turbulent time in a person’s life, a lot of changes happen in those years as well, and so I think while houses might lighten up the specific dominant character types and aspects we are all really the same in many ways and are always free to change and be whatever we feel like.

This. Honestly i didn't feel like i fit in to any house for my whole childhood, and even tho it is a world in our imagination and beyond it still affects in real life. I also felt like i had something of all of the house traits depending on my mindset amd strongest personality at some exact moment. Just like ypu said earlier, people are different, everyone has each of those at some situation. First i was shocked to get Hufflepuff in Pottermore years ago, did the test probably 10+ times and got Hufflepuff in 60~70% of them. Then when reading the description of Hufflepuffs it just felt more and more me. So now I'm happy Hufflepuff, i have so traits from each house but first and foremost i often wanna be friendly and can't stand something being unfair..
