We're aware of the confusion that has sparked following the rollout of Pre-Orders, and we acknowledge and apologize for the frustration caused in our Community. The team hears you, and we'd like to provide some clarity on questions that have come up:

  1. Regarding Collectorā€™s Edition availability, Collectorā€™s Editions are going live with our retailers on a rolling basis and links are updated on www.hogwartslegacy.com as we receive them.

  2. For those in Turkey, Pre-Orders for Hogwarts Legacy will go live in this region soon.

  3. For clarity, Pre-Order of the PS4 and PS5 editions (Standard, Deluxe, Digital Deluxe, and Collectorā€™s) will come with the Felix Felicis Potion Recipe. All PlayStation editions will come with the Exclusive Quest; no Pre-Order is required to obtain it. More information around Sony exclusives is coming soon.

  4. Regarding some confusion around the Dark Arts Pack and potential microtransactions, there are NO microtransactions in Hogwarts Legacy. Players with the Standard Edition will be given the option to purchase the Dark Arts Pack in-game separately at launch if they would like to upgrade. There are no other items for purchase in-game.

5)A Wizarding World account OR WB Games account is NOT REQUIRED to play Hogwarts Legacy.

Again, weā€™d like to reiterate that we understand the frustrations around the experience for the Community yesterday. Thank you for your continued excitement and passion for Hogwarts Legacy.

Is this what it feels like to get your Hogwarts acceptance letter?!

Hi everyone! I'm Cody, but you can call me Vaknar. Iā€™m honoured to share that I recently joined Avalanche Software as the new Community Manager. TL; DR: I'm here to be the bridge between Avalanche and you, the Hogwarts Legacy community.

First things first, who is this guy? Well, Iā€™m a midwestern boy but I've been living in Southern California for a few years. Enjoying frequent beach days and catching the occasional wave whenever possible. Iā€™ve been a community manager in gaming for several years, and, of course, Iā€™m a Harry Potter fan! I grew up reading the books, waiting outside the theaters for each movie release, and now Iā€™m ecstatic to be a part of the Hogwarts Legacy team!

I'll be honest, Hogwarts Legacy really pulled me into the wizarding world, and the further in I got, the harder it was to put down. I wonā€™t pretend that Iā€™m an expert quite yet, but I think I'm well on my way! Between the game, the lore rabbit holes, and this communityā€¦ I reckon it won't be long before I can rattle off obscure trivia tidbits without thinking twice.

Iā€™ve only just started, and while I'm still finding my footing, my goal is straightforward: to make this a space easily worth showing up to. That means celebrating the amazing things you're creating, making sure your voices and feedback reach the right people, and keeping things welcoming and inclusive for everyone.

When I'm not kicking back in the Hufflepuff common room, you'll find me lurking in conversations, listening, interacting with the community and probably asking a lot of questions ā€” Iā€™m very interested in hearing what players think about the game. I promise I'm friendlier than a Chinese Chomping Cabbage, so don't be a stranger and feel free to say hi!

Hello everyone

A few weeks ago we put a call out for new mods to join our quiet amazing mod team here and firstly thank you to everyone who sent in an application, we were overjoyed so many of you wanted to help us out on this server so thank you again to everyone who took the time.

Today I would like to formally introduce our new mods @finite sky @coarse oasis and @dreamy ocean of the many, many great candidates who put their names forward these three all stood out in such a way to make what was a difficult choice slightly easier.
