Puzzles and Survival celebrates its 5th anniversary this month. As part of the festivities, a new update rolled out on Monday, once again changing event requirements and, most importantly, the reward structure. Previously, a player earned copious amounts of useless crap for completing the daily event. The incentive being the small number of special hero frags they could receive. Pushing past completion and earning a high rank could earn you more of said frags.

Now, you must do twice the work for less rewards. That is unless you pay.

I it just me, or is showdown kind of crummy this go round? The 250 mystery quests just aren't showing up. I have resorted to taking the lower level quests just so I can get my quota met. I ALWAYS land in the top 3 and ALWAYS have 3,360 personal points! Not this time, though!

That happens once in a while to me. When it does, I just go buy the .99 cent packs. If it happens twice I wait until reset to do it again. I made a remark in suggestions about this actually. I think that's playing dirty. Not everyone can do all the spending in here.

If you're patient and have the stuff in your bag just wait for personal quests. Might take all week but doable

Sometimes the personal quests are great. This time though it kept landing on bioenhancer. Which I exhausted the first two times it showed up. Which brings me to my next gripe, the same quest that was refused shouldn't keep showing up repeately. I think if we delete a quest it should not show up again.

Put on a bubble, change your name & avatar, turn off the ambiance, swap chips & modules around, train some troops to change your might and blend in. Drop your tags for a day or so if needed then rejoin to collect showdown rewards. Unless you've placed in events with an identifiable rank, then you can't really hide.
