Honestly there probably would be people that like that. I'm just speaking in terms of watching two dooms in a row where I saw itty bitty alliances that were just sitting ducks
On a more serious note, I think it would be interesting if they pulled the top 4 alliances from each of the 4 zones, and moved them to the center to start the week. Sort of like skipping round one in a tournament
Let them fight over 4/5s week one, and the smaller alliance work on the outter territories without as much interference, until week 2

Makes you wonder if they make it the way it is on purpose. To get people to rage spend. All my accounts spread out over the last 3 times have been exactly the same. One big alliance who everybody knows is gonna win surrounds the middle. A few really smalls trapped at the safe zone. And the rest merging to try and get to the 3000 points. The gathering is about all thats worth it. I did like the trade stations. Too bad most alliance will never get to control one ever
Yes, there is no incentive for the big alliance to share the level 6. The big alliance will want to take first occupation and hold the 6 for as long as possible to rack up passive rewards. So the situation is unless the big faction is magnanimous to grant someone a level 6, even at the very end of the vent, there are functionally only two tiers of rewards : city state for the winners, and flavors of camp for all the losers. Furthermore the war declaration prevents factions from sneak attacking during sleeping hours, which favors the big alliance because they donât have to worry about losing the majority of their progress. I like doomsday, but this event will be getting a 1 star or the otherwise lowest score from me.
To be fair, the trade stations are nice, and I stocked up on a lot of stuff there that saved me from spending $$ to progress my account. And the vault things, both alliance and personal, are nice too in concept, but the drop rate is very low.
Week 1 was okay, Week 2 not so much. Greon above summed it up nicely. Previous version of doomsday never had me feeling like I don't even want to bother to log on, this one most definitely does. Putting alliances that are so vastly different in size on one map literally sucked the fun right out of the last week. The bigs will not see it that way, why should they, when they're set up to dominate from the beginning vs alliances a fraction of their might. Doomsday isn't about competing with alliances roughly your same size, it's about giving the bigger players a place to remind the peasants why they don't actually matter in the grand scheme of things. Congratulations on making some not so small players that normally dominate most events feel all kinds of crappy but the whales are happy so it's all good... 
From a rewards perspective, all of the rewards are so expensive, and so all bigs want max rewards which incentivizes maximum cruelty to the rest of the map. If they choose to forgo some rewards to help others, great for them, but I suspect most donât.
Our situation is somewhat different , we work hard to get territory and battling our opponent faction and shielding and garrison that territory , but the big alliance faction , comes in attacks us , kicks us out , not to claim the territory and lets our opponents take territory from us ,park there so we canât defend without taking heavy loses , how is this fair , messaging they do it to make us mad . Our opponents wouldnât have the territory if it wasnât the interference of a certain alliance faction . This doesnât make any kind of fair playing field .They are fighting for domination here in Doom. Some donât want to play or even continue to play this game , due to the game only thinking about the big spenders because they get bored and enjoy being bullies . Hope you never have this event again because this event ruined the experience of playing the game for a lot of people.
This version definitely felt like it brought out the inner bullies in a lot of players, something I didn't really see in prior version.

I've seen a seriously ugly side of people in this game and watched multiple long term people decent spenders decide maybe they should quit
You cant match only the whales together, as some alliances only have one big which still can destroy its difficult to find a matchmaking which satisfy all players. There is always one winning and one losing. Those who cant compete and lose will always be unhappy. I understand the frustration of not even have the chance for anything on map. And for those we keep forwarding the matchmaking feedback.
If one person can control an entire map and is larger than a quarter of alliances on a map; then perhaps the whole game mode needs reexamined
Also this isn't even about winning or losing or standing a chance. This is about repeatedly hearing the same thing. This event has been dreadful for so many
1st of all, you can simple port out of map back to normal game if you dont like the event. No one needs to keep playing it. Second point you need to work together and build factions together. If the others doesnt agree its bad luck. But the new Doomsday they created this way to give people the chance to work together and build factions to work together and have better chances. If to that other alliances dont agree and merge with other people its actually not the game fault. About overly dominating the map because of strength of single alliances thats something matchmaking could prevent maybe, but difficult as well.
Top four of your map? Thats bad luck. Im sorry you had that bad luck. But the rule change was supposed to give better opportunity by merging and have better options and chances.

Again the absolute wild part to me is one single hq being larger than whole alliances and that not ending up on a map with similar sizing

Yeah, im not that big and often face way bigger opponents especially as with the state i am. I have the luck to be part of a big state and alliance. But I also started somewhere and needed to find my way in the game. I have the luck of playing a long time and to got accepted by strong people to join their alliances and state. But still I know the feeling how to face stronger people and not standing a chance.
Just play your own way, dont let others steal your fun. A game should distract from the daily stress in real life. Let them rule the map, then you gather the nice rss tiles at least or port back to main map and skip event. There will be other opportunities to Rock 
You also would be eaten alive in our map. Yes we can leave, that isn't the point. This version of doom brings out the ugliest side of ugly people, combine them together and it's a two week grief fest.

Our map was quite unfair as well.
We are a decent moderate-sized alliance, but we ended up in a corner on one side and a certain well-known massive Alliance on the other side, so we have been trapped the entire time.
Can't merge with them, can't move around them. Just can't do anything.
So we all just basically left.
Maybe next time. The matchmaking was so incredibly off for us.

We have almost no bronze coins. They let us take a couple buildings for a little while, but then took them back again. None of us have enough bronze coins for Hero frags. Just for, like, a few speed ups or something. Lol.

From my experience from ours it seems like it's purposely unmatched to force you to be diplomatic and merge. When we merged and had 4 in it consisted of 2 70b alliances and 2 100b alliances I think
I wonder how that would work in our case.
I mean each individual in the aforementioned massive alliance could smash their way to victory by themselves in those buildings, so I'm not clear on how a merger would help with that.
I'm not sure. Once we had 25 buildings I noticed a bunch of smaller factions merging and grabbing territories has your map done that?

The incentive to merge is done very poorly. And it leaves a lot of room for people to get scammed over. And as I mentioned before the matchmaking is absolute garbage. The fact that one overspending goober can literally wipe out several alliances in an event like this is very piss poor programming and planning in my opinion.
Oh let's not even have a conversation about how many of these super accounts have been bought and sold more times than a street worker.

Yeah, I don't really understand the merging either. Sounds good, but how does it actually strengthen your team, like you say, when a single individual can just smash their way through your buildings -- or in our case, an entire alliance of ultra-strong individuals can spread out and take all the important buildings, the trade shops, etc.
Khev that is exactly what has happened on our server.. then they merged with the second strongest and scam the hell out of them and put every single one of them down to rank one so they get crap Rewards hence why I said it's easy to scam with the system.
Then not to mention the strongest accounts on the scamming Alliance used to be a Asian owned accounts but all of a sudden they became completely English I believe even USA owned accounts.
If this is the same one on my map, which looking at your posts seems like it is. They were moved to R1 because they explicitly continued to break their faction rules and NAP agreement. They were told if they continued they would be dropped to R1 and they continued to disregard them and their NAP.
It's not a scam if they were warned about it and didn't care if they were dropped.

If it is the same server and the same thing we are talking about that even shows a bigger flaw in the merging system.
I just wish that was something that they would actually enforce in game as well

I liked the idea of it, but parts of it, like merging; were complicated
Doomsday took all the fun out of game for me, Iâm a 43 was working on 44 . So I do spent money . After spending to make Warhounds competitive ,losing troops because the 90% recover is after spending diamonds to cut loses, which should be reversed ,90% first then diamonds . Only to get small rewards and only a small amt of heroes that wonât be useful unless you spend more money . I have lost all interest in game but will keep my money.

I agree but the problem is that's just another example of an ongoing problem with the matchmaking system in this game. It's the same kind of stuff we've seen in Doom and many other events.

I don't have a list to answer that and I'm not saying they're going to have a perfect system by any means. But there's got to be a heck of a lot better way to do matching system than what they have.

I understand what you're saying. Again I don't have the data to give you a truly educated answer. But maybe they also need to look at how they organize their battle divisions when it comes to this kind of stuff. That might help the system a little bit

On one of my earlier post talking about the matching system in Doom. I suggested maybe looking at individual people in an alliance when it comes to determining how to match up alliances. Again I'm not an expert in this I love the game I've been playing it for several years but it seems to be getting worse with the matching system and it's going to end up being a business killer if they don't get it working a little better in my opinion.

That's why I'm saying the system needs to potentially look at the members of The Alliance not the overall might number for the alliance. It's just a thought I'm not a programmer but it's data data can be gathered and used.
And then match whale against whale, so it would be essentially a 1vs1 match?

When the game is designed in such a way that literally one or 2 super Cities could basically take out multiple alliances and control the Lion's Share of the map in let's say Doom, there's got to be a better way

I know my experience in Doom this time was basically one super Alliance One close to them but not strong enough to take them out and the rest of us struggled like hell to even get basic points from what I was following on the forums it wasn't just my map that people had this kind of problems with it was a very hot topic about the matching with similar type stories.

No you're missing the point make the super alliances battle the super alliances in an event especially like Doom otherwise you're literally stacking the deck for one Alliance against however many other alliances they put on the map.

I don't really have a specific number but there's got to be a bracket kind of system that could be a little more comparable when it comes to matching. Again I'm just brainstorming I'm not trying to argue and I really appreciate you having a conversation with me about this. I just know the way it's been working out makes the game very not fun for decent amount of players if not closer to the majority.

I could definitely understand that if I was in that situation. Then maybe the system needs to look at giving some incentive for the super alliances/ cities to give them less expensive and more fun to battle and situations like that I don't know again I'm on the other side of the fence on this one

I mean I realized the games about making money otherwise you know why would the company even bother with it but they also has to be a balance of keeping everybody as happy as they possibly can within reason because you know as well as I do you never make everybody happy.
Okay in an event like Doom, the most expensive part of doing any kind of serious battling for any level City is healing the troops up and possible troop loss. So maybe address that issue they're making money off of a lot of other aspects of that event and that might promote fighting in a more balanced environment.

how does everyone feel that favorited quests on alliance showdown should be locked to the players who fav, but R4 and R5s can still erase to prevent any cluster â or troll hogging â que list
im glad they arent locked to 1 person most our hearted quests are popular ones that we all take. we are getting points either way and there are never hard feelings here if quests are taken before they get to em
If they locked to one person it would be a nightmare if someone hearted the board and then went offline for 8-12 hours.

Doomsday Sand Sea: Feedback & Retention Report
â1. Map & Reward Imbalance
âGeographical Kingmaking: Corner-start alliances are blocked by mountains/neighbors, while top alliances get "straight shots" to the center. I've asked many. And many have told me A01 were center safe zone of a side.
âReward Gating: Tier 2 rewards are physically next to the #1 center building. This allows one "Dictator" alliance to blockade mid-tier rewards for the entire map.
â2. Breaking the "Defense Math"
âThe Shield Trap: 8 abandons/day limit + 1-hour wait to re-shield makes defense impossible against 24/7 aggression.
âDead Zones: The 24-hour cooldown to move Main Zones is a death sentence in a fast-paced event. Players are wiped out before they can legally relocate.
â3. Growth Stagnation &
âPVE Barrier: Tech reworks made "Lions" too difficult for first-time players with new Hounds. No PVE kills = no tech/healing resources = players quit.
âThe Canyon: High-tier rewards only go to the top 1%, while mid-tier players spend more in speed-ups/resources to survive than they earn back. Itâs a net-loss experience.
â4. Quest Accessibility
âWeek 2 Quests were geographically blocked by center alliances. When players can't finish basic quests, they lose all motivation to log in.
âSummary: Sand Sea is currently a "Dictator's Playground." Between map funnels, impossible shield math, and gated rewards, mid-sized alliances are choosing to quit rather than participate.
WC will be similar. We know only top alliances will win. As long as you know your limit on what troops you are willing to lose you can receive some rewards.
What are your suggestions to fix said issues you had on the map?

That's the thing if you are working with a dictator there is no runner up. What they started doing is as soon as they saw the scroll from the wall coming down. They would garrison the wall to blockade us from shielding our own footholds. they had claimed most of the top kill ranks as well.
WC yes. Only top alliances will win. Thats the purpose. King of the hill. And feasts will cost the winner.

I think that every event can use improvements
I think if we keep the â40 alliances to startâ concept that some mechanisms need to be adjusted that were originally designed to start with factions

But one thing I noticed on multiple maps is one whale alliance would be 2-3x the size of the next biggest alliance.. in two states I participated. Maybe one suggestion but I haven't fully thought this idea out yet. So not sure if or how it would work out. But maybe cap the merger or faction might? So they can at least be somewhat comparable? Because how it ended the A01, B02 and C so the top three merged together and there was really no chance at all.
Oh very.. I do enjoy it actually. I actually like both WC and doomsday.. but I have had many tell me they will never participate in doomsday again because of the experience this last time. Some not even from my server... So i thought it's at least worth the feedback in a more constructive way.
But I go into WC knowing I have a limit on my troops. đ
But have had very little time to save up RSS, work on my tech between these two big events.
FWIW, Our map had 1, 3, 5, and ~ 13 (rank by might) merge. Battles occurred the first day the full map opened and was nap city from there on out.
1 and 2 had similar size biggest players.
Faction might is not a great matching tool either

But 1 has a 20b player âŚ.
Maybe we need some mechanical adjustments:
Decentralized Rewards: Move Tier 2 buildings away from the center. If they are spread out, a power alliance has to choose what to hold. Or should not be able to hold both tier 1 & teir 2 since they can't claim both sets of rewards. They shouldn't be able to camp one spot and block the whole map's rewards.
Foothold Caps for Walls: If an alliance is already maxed on their foothold capacity, they should be barred from garrisoning walls/towers. This prevents them from 'griefing' or blockading just to stop others from shielding.
Defense Math Adjustment: 8 abandons a day is not enough when being targeted 24/7. We need a 'Mercy' mechanicâif you've lost X amount of footholds, your abandon limit should increase or your shield cooldown should decrease.
PVE Tiering: Ensure the jump from Hounds to Lions isn't a brick wall for first-timers. If players can't beat mobs, they can't heal or finish Week 2 quests. Quests should be achievable even if you're losing the war.
Just some initial ideas to maybe help keep player engagement. 𼰠Again I didn't come to whine and complain but offer some experience and feedback, along with some realistic and possible suggestions. I appreciate your feedback and these conversations. â¤ď¸ Have a great day!
At least with WC even smaller players (at least by comparison) can go and get some decent stuff to choose from for throwing themselves at a turret, just need heals.

What complete and utter nonsense this Water War change is. Does Europe not exist? The one sensible time slot for Europe gets erased. 'Based on feedback'? From who, because nobody I know gave feedback or was even asked.

I kind of thought the match making had already been tweaked for water war & Tundra, our matches have been a little too easy lately. For transparency our two rotating spots are still there but I was surprised to see there is only one Thursday night slot now which means if you're in the US you either do +1 or you play at work. Can see similar problems with people in UK and others that share their timezone.

The loss of the last time slot hurts as it is by far the most convenient for our alliance which is a fairly even split between US and European players. All the other slots are too early/late for one location or another

If you go from a developing state to a stable state it is a 50% decrease.
By developing they mean dead dead, kind of surprised at a few that are considered stable.

Everyone hates the alliance mill safe RSS update. Please change that back. While you're at it, you could get rid of safe RSS altogether, or at least let us convert safe RSS to unsafe. This is terrible and changes the entire game. We help small players with RSS. This will encourage them to quit the game. Is that a desirable outcome?
We help new players grow by sharing resources with them, there are better things to spend money on than buying resources

How do we determine what constitutes an "active" player. Do multiple HQs on a single account count as 1 or X? How long does a player have to be idle to stop counting towards active? Does that change if they're in an alliance? None of these details are anywhere i can find

This strongly and negatively affects small players in the alliances. If as r5 or even any alliance member cannot assist by sending rss because now they are safe rss and have to dig into our bags or rss boxes then how can we support smaller players and help them grow? Also for big players farms do nothing more than collect rss to feed main account so if alliance mill becomes safe rss that also affects big accounts! This is a terrible idea and honestly the whole safe rss is not great in my opinion.
Well, that's too broad. Some parts of it are good, or should be good once we get to actually test/use them. Like the new Alliance tech: Resource Boost and Alliance Whitelist. Also the new warning when allies are marching on the same rss node. Much of it is bad though. The alliance mill change, the immigration changes, the stupid addition of the recent tab in the bag (just why add more stuff to our bag?).

Latest new, new version has removed the safe label on the mill, perhaps they heard our dismay and gathering lynch mobs from across the ocean đ
agree about the negatives; my inventory is a mess. You might accidentally open something you shouldn't. The tile walk is good, but the state migration method is still confusing. The alliance technology addition is good, but I think there's a speed reduction in the mill. And the worst part is the secure source; that's what the boxes were for. Also, there was no need for protection, and the shield can always be used, of course. I still wonder why it was necessary. Transferring RSS feeds to those who need them has become much more difficult; I think it's hindering those trying to grow. Even transferring RSS feeds from a farm account is out of the question.
PNS won't come out and say it, but I believe all the changes to rss is an attempt to do two things: cut down on rss sellers and cut down on farms. This makes it more likely that people will buy rss from PNS. But it appears they reversed the Alliance Mill changes, so that may have been an actual bug, especially since it wasn't in the patch notes. đ¤ˇââď¸

I donât like the recent tab. Itâs pretty much pointless. A holiday events tab in our bag would be much more useful.
Also, the event calendar should allow us to schedule and show our alliance event times for that week, not just show when server events are starting. Like itâs a good first step but itâs not enough.
And the whitelist should be expanded to at least 100. Doesnât mean you have to USE all those slots, but itâs one per possible member.
As someone who has reported bots selling RSS feeds, I can say they never stopped their.
I doubt they could ever 100% stop it, but safe rss is definitely a way to curb it. Safe rss is probably more aimed at farms and trying to get players to buy rss instead of having farms though, but what would be funny is if safe rss just pushed more players to buy rss from the black market, lol.

Well, no one ever accused PNS of being smart. On one hand, yes, they want you to have multiple accounts. But that's just because they hope you'll spend money on all of them instead of the one main account, lol. Safe rss is 100% counterintuitive to farms, but maybe it's just another poor design on their part rather than them actively trying to stop us being able to transport rss with farms. You never know with these game devs.

I hate the background colors of the "collect me" icons and the build/research/pit icons. Red is DANGER color, so it's disconcerting to have it on an innocuous item that is always visible on the home screen. And greying things out is generally an indicator that you cannot interact with an item, not to mention it makes the icons look blurred out almost. I opened my game and thought my screen was broken, color-wise. I'm not the only one in my alliance to say they don't like it, either. No one has said they do like it.
I don't know if this has already been discussed, but do we know when the new immigration changes go into effect? Right now it shows developing/stable/prosperous, but it does not seem to have impact eligibility or cost yet from what I am seeing. E.g. Looking at flying to a newer state over 40 days old still shows an ineligible, and the cost shows as the same for all types (developing/stable/prosperous). Is this just a glitch in the display or is there a break-in time before it is active?

developing to stable = half off
Stable to stable = same price as always
Stable to developing = same price as always.
Stable to prosperous = 1.2 times the amount.
Prosperous to any other style is same price as always.
Age restrictions are still on states.
It should tell you how many days until you can migrate there if theyâre open to migration.
States that are within 360 days from launch are by default stable

New immigration rules are absolutely ridiculous and have caused myself and my alliance a planned move because of the exorbitant costs of additional flights overnight. I have multiple accounts i canât fly now. Definitely reconsidering playing and definitely refusing to spend now.

You can use ap to shop for Curio boxes in the shop to race. Also the excavation game gives curios to upgrade your car for racing.
Not enough on f2p. Still have to buy to get anywhere decent. Cant even get out of the track test phase
Curios are notoriously expensive. Iâm glad they give us a chance to earn some rewards and we arenât road blocked right away.

Having better odds to get what we need. 6k ap used and not one fighter based curio. Its good that they are made more available but the odds of getting anything related to troop base seem impossible

Questions regarding the developing/stable/prosperous designations. Do we know how those labels are assigned? With what frequency they change?
For example: if an alliance is moving from a stable state to a developing state. Would it be likely that halfway through the move the price changes since active players have entered the state?
That is unknown. It originally said daily on the bulletin, but since then it was removed.
I think that would be good information to get if they can provide it (I understand it is still new and they are likely still working some things out). As was said above many people who don't spend a ton plan for moves for months, so having some information regarding timing and likelihood of a status change would be huge

I'm not opposed to the mill giving secure rss IF they made them transferable. In a game built around the importance of teamwork and were rss are currency to pay for tiles hits and other incidents, taking away the ability to transfer rss is irritating.

In hindsight, they'd have been better off just skipping it entirely and bringing it back at the usual time in the event rotation. Yeah, some might not be happy but it's better than the best defenders in the states potentially not being able to help their home alliance in Flag.

The screen shot you shared can only be found if you click buffs. If you look at the battle screen (the one it brings you to when you click the event) it says round 3 as Hela posted. Schedule record will show you previous battles. IMO itâs a case of too many buttons in the enemy đ. đ
Yeah the car event is pretty much a waste of space to me as well.
I would rather keep the curio boxes and save them for ace, at least I will get better rewards that way!

I think there was a pretty serious miscalculation for the racing event... Even if one still tried to complete curios there's not even a chance of competing for the hq skin... Before the final event even started. My low motivation has dropped even lower...

Anyone can claim a marked task, and R4's can still reset them. It just indicates that you have interest in it - it doesn't actually "hold" it
as long as it is not deleted i think it stays marked. we had a quest marked sitting for like 4 days last sd lol

Dropping my wishlist: events were better explained fully rather than just one part of the multi event at a time ( I missed the beginning of the Racing event as RL took precedent) I felt like I was so far behind and saw no way to acquire the beginning of the rewards. So for the longer multi event ones it would be nice to get the opportunity to acquire the items needed more than one time!

Looks like PNS made a way to create a scaracity of curios and the monotize the issue by creating the expensive compass event to get constellations

They need to bring back normal shovel, its been ages since we had one, and all these âfake shovelsâ dont convert to shovels in the end
The ability to say âI want to transport x amount to another hqâ and it just send out how ever many marches it needs to until that amount is transport. Would be so much nicer lol I get distracted sometimes and forget what Iâm doing and have to start transporting from my farms to my main all over again lol

Reading the patch notes, 100 clears in the mini game section to unlock sort master is excessive since most of them you have to spend to clear past lv 5.
Dear Puzzles & Survival Development Team,
I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the recent changes affecting events such as Wasteland King and cross-state matchmaking.
Right now, many newer states are being completely overwhelmed by significantly older and more developed states. The gap in troop strength, technology, heroes, and overall account progression has become so extreme that many players feel they are simply being sent out to be slaughtered with little to no chance of competing fairly.
This is no longer creating a competitive environment â it is creating frustration and discouragement.
We are already seeing players leave their states, migrate elsewhere, or quit the game entirely because they feel there is no realistic path to compete or grow. Many newer-state players invest time, money, and effort into this game, only to feel helpless when matched against states with overwhelming advantages.
The current system is damaging morale and harming player retention. If these balance issues continue, Puzzles & Survival risks losing many loyal players to other games that provide fairer matchmaking and progression systems.
Something needs to change. Whether that means improved matchmaking, stronger protections for newer states, revised WK balancing, or brackets based more heavily on state age and development â the current situation is not sustainable.
We love this game and want to see it succeed long term, but the growing imbalance between newer and older states is becoming impossible to ignore.
Please seriously consider adjustments before more players decide to walk away.

Thank you for the response, but respectfully, âdonât win so muchâ does not address the actual issue players are experiencing.
The concern is not simply about winning. The concern is the massive imbalance between older and newer states in events like WK and cross-state competition.
Many of us have personally witnessed older, heavily developed states completely overpowering newer states to the point of taking hubs and dominating entire events with little resistance possible. That is not healthy competition â it is discouraging for newer players and states trying to grow.
Newer states cannot realistically compete against accounts and alliances with years of additional development, stronger heroes, higher troop tiers, larger account investment, and long-established infrastructure. The gap is simply too large.
When players feel they have no chance regardless of effort, they stop participating, migrate away, or quit entirely. We are already seeing this happen.
Players want competitive events. We do not expect easy wins. But there needs to be a fair environment where strategy, teamwork, and activity matter â not just overwhelming age and power differences.
Please reconsider the current balancing systems before more newer states lose active players and morale declines further across the game.
We are raising these concerns because we care about the future of Puzzles & Survival and want the game to continue thriving long term.
TLDR?
Basically once you leave your first 2 Zeniths you are thrown out into the big kid world. You can face s1 to whatever max state isn't in their Zenith based on placement you are. You win some. You lose some. The whole aspect of new states should not face old states is ridiculous

I think the problem is people don't understand that WK and other SVS events are based on rankings. If you win a bunch of times eventually you're going to run into a bunch of people you don't want to play with. We have that problem with water wars. We have to be careful which time we picked because we run against teams like Hof. My alliance is not small but we can't compete with them on that level.
Heck we ended up in legend last wasteland and believe me we were really expecting to get our butts whooped

We've been told they're not going to do much with matchmaking on those circumstances. And I'm not really sure there's much they can do at this point. You just win until you lose and hope that you're not running into a bigger and older state at the wrong time.
There are quite a few older states that are not very strong anymore as well so you might get lucky there.
Those responses were highly rude and dismissive. Your job as a moderator is to answer people and be helpful, not brush off legitimate concerns or talk down to players who are trying to give feedback.

So about WK the matchmaking is mainly fair as you get matched by points you reached with your state. That way you stay around with other states similar points. If you win too many and find yourself in matchmakings which are a pain you need to let your state drop down in points to find more fitting opponents.
Apart of that for more fitting or better ideas how to optimize we have #đgame-suggestions channel were you can share polite and respectful ideas for changes. Those we mods then weekly put into reports to forward to officials. It doesnt mean those suggestion makes it in game but they arrive where you want them to be seen at, the officials. Mods listen, forward ideas and also explain game systematics and how to avoid things as for example the wk matchmaking point systematic (matching by points), also other players jumped in to explain. Please dont feel unfair treated when people try to explain and coach.

Multiple players across different states are raising the same concern: the recent matchmaking and immigration changes are hurting newer and smaller states instead of helping them.
Players say the matchmaking range was supposed to become narrower, but instead it appears to have expanded, causing newer states to face much older and stronger ones. This is leading to uneven events, state collapses, players abandoning regions, and more people flying away or quitting entirely.
There are also concerns that the âprosperous regionâ system and immigration restrictions are concentrating power into a small number of already-strong states while weaker and developing states struggle to survive.
This is no longer just one player complaining â players from multiple communities and languages are all reporting the same issue and asking for the matchmaking system to be reviewed.

It depends on the active of a state. It also now get called to be "Full" not "Prosperous" anymore since the past Patch. Personally i prefer no higher costs to such states

Maybe I can explain it a little bit differently for the matchmakingâŚ
Letâs look at it like March Madness for basketball, the better your team does, the higher the rank they are in, the higher overall bracket, youâre matched with teams in similar brackets. Which means the better you perform, youâre going to match with states that perform as well if not better than you did. So if youâre in diamond or platinum, youâre not going to match with states that are in legend. Now if youâre doing so well and your points get up to legend, then youâre going to match with other legend states. Itâs not that PNS wants you to do bad or look bad. Itâs just that you went up into a bracket that youâre not necessarily able to win in. Once your stateâs scores drop into a lower bracket, you will be matched with teams in that bracket which might be more evenly suited or matched to your states level.
WK takes a bit of math before the event if you want to avoid moving into more stabby brackets
Check the points and see what taking 1/2 states will do to your points and brackets
We were able to take 2 states cause it didn't land us somewhere too stabby
We just dropped to gold last WK, this weekend we took two states. Now we are in the top of Platinum so I fully expect to get our asses handed to us or preferably match with good states and have our hubs under NAP.
But I also know that teams fell out of legend will be looking to move up again so they will be wanting to take a state or two.
Top platinum, diamond, legend are very close in points ⌠you can easily end up somewhere where you honestly become a snack
If see 419 in platinum it means I play to get points and go back to bed.
