I have found that a lot of English words are censored because part of the word is an offensive word in French or another language. Why it doesn't look at the entire word doesn't make sense to me. Here is an example connection is censored because conne is bitch in French. They obviously did build separate censor list based off the selected language and instead of being an exact match it must be if it contains the word. Poor programming if you ask me.

There is an issue with the fast comeback boost at S35, I don't know if that happen to other states. Many players including me haven't recover our losing might after we train all the might that fast comeback provide us. All our troops lost in tower and the Hudson and not at enemy aamctuaries that we know isn't count to fast comeback. We send a ticket issue to the game hope there is a solution soon. We lost a ranked to ACE event because of that but at least we can get our troops back.

Because the rare gives more enhancement points than the uncommon does. So you definitely can use the uncommon to enhance the rare, provided you have:
A) enough enhancement material/other weapons to use to enhance and
B) the uncommon weapon isn’t currently equipped on any hero

It would not allow me too. I will save up material and try again. It would let me enhance the uncommon with the rare, which was strange to me.

Pit gathering is like tile gathering and just part of the game play. The advice give in here that I use as f2p works very well. If they other steal 20% of your rare earth, steal one yourself. And recalling before you finished gathering is a sound and proven method works very well. If mine get stolen I am like, oh well, I will just steal another persons pit and get what I lost back. This is a war game, attacking and stealing is part of that.

So I've noticed vehicles catch a lot of heat for being trash! Truth is they aren't! They have another purpose next to gathering. Look into your trap factory, notice all the traps are strong against everything but....VEHICLES! Use them as a first march into a sanctuary to clean out traps! They are strong only against traps. This will also lessen your casualties when you hit with your main march! I've told very few people about this. But I can't keep seeing something so useful get so much hate! So give it a shot next time you're in a sanctuary battle hit with a full march of trucks first! Watch how many traps it takes out! Also on your second march watch your casualties drop! If I'm lying than so are the 5 other people I've told! Enjoy your lessened casualties!

TBH, friend, I too am stuck on 230. Been stuck there for a couple weeks now. It’s really frustrating. Have you taken a look at what it has historically taken to beat it? Tap Clear-Stage Lineup and you will see what the players in your state have used to clear the level. Mine looks like this. I don’t know about you, but I neither have all my heroes red-starred nor do I have more than one enhanced to +6 or more. Looking at this helps me to understand that it’s gonna be a while before I get past this one. Have a look at yours to get a better idea of what you might need to pass it.

Yeah I’ve had a look and it’s similar but there are slightly less lvls in the hero’s used previous in my state to yours. I have three red starred and the other two not. But even so when you get to a lvl like this I expect a challenge for sure. But the fact they 100% change the appearance rate of the gems as well doesn’t make it a challenge it makes it nigh on impossible and leaves you waiting for that 1 in a million that the RNG works in your favour. It becomes less about who and what you have levelled up and equipped (most of these cleared before weapons were available too don’t forget) and more about just use your 30 tries per day every day until you randomly get lucky and pass it. There has only been one other like this on the way here and it was all orange. That was similar. But the others have all been a challenge but not nigh on impossible. I’m working to red star the other two as well but that’s about spending with Phoenix and Leah as they are mainly available through finishing high in events. And I am a spender but not on the level of some. I just think it’s a tough challenge already without the added changing of the appearance rate of gems you need.

I have noticed the lack of needed gems on special levels! MY farm is red and gold atm and the odds of getting either of those two gems when you need them the most is abysmal!
At least with UC, I know I will eventually beat it. Unlike arena where my odds of placing above 9000 is even less than abysmal!

The filter needs a better regex for detecting websites. I can't say awww. or any variant of aw. with multiple ws in game. I can only assume this is because it reads the www. as a web address, but the filter is fine with http:// and https://. If it's going to read as a website, it might as well turn it into a clickable link filtered for common services like Discord or Google drive files so it's easier for us to do things like get people into an alliance or state discord or do a survey/vote in an alliance. (\s|\w)*w{3,4}\.\S* ought to detect a www. address a bit better than the current one does. It's under 10 steps for just the www address and about 100-150 for an http/https address (As seen in the unit tests at https://regex101.com/r/JtkC4y/2). It won't catch a lot of links, but it'll probably catch fewer not-websites and the same number of links it already is.

When doing single Color uc challenges, the lack of the colour required is extremely frustrating, I have been stuck on final level for weeks now it’s all purple. Hi, is there any way to get the gathering boosts to actually boost? There is no way the %50 gathering boost actually cuts time in half--it doesn't cut anything as far as I can tell.

It increases your base gathering rate by 50%, but it doesn’t stack the boosts on top of your boosts from heroes or research. So if your base gather rate is 100rss/min (number just for easy math), the boost will increase it to 150rss/min. All other boosts obtained are based on the 100rss/min and are added with the other boosts, not compounded.

It does, but don’t think of it as 50% plus 50% is 100%. Think of it as each boost applying to the base amount, and then all the boosts added together (at least as best as the math implies) So the 50% will often only add 15-25% of a boost to your final number

When I bought my car, it topped out at 100 km/hr. But since I have driven it off the lot I have added some upgrades, so now it drives at 200 km/hr. And I have gotten used to that speed. Lordy, it's nice!

But I just saw a NEW gadget that advertises that it will increase my top speed by 50%! And I want it, because I am thinking, "Man, a 50% increase on my top speed would take me to 300 km/hr! That's thrice what I could do when I drove it off the lot!!" So of course I buy it.

But I'm not getting the speed I thought I would. I can only get up to 250 km/hr, and when I read the fine print, I see why. That 50% that was so gloriously announced on the gadget package applies to base speed only. It adds 50% of the speed I drove off the lot with, not 50% on top of whatever my current actual top speed (which has been boosted by other things) is. Still adds something, but it is certainly not what I thought it would be.

Ok this is a whinge, whine and some serious concern about future wasteland after the update with going up to hq 40.

We were just paired with 2 servers that nearly wiped us out. It took 6 top alliances in our state to fight back and barely retain the hub. One might say we did not have to and just roll over but that is not how we work. We compared stats afterwords and it was evident that only 3 accounts on our server could barely go up against those that came into state and fought us.

What I mean by being wiped out. Our strongest players ended up with no normal or heal boosts. All alliance coins are gone so they cannot heal the troops in alliance infirmary and calculating how many alliance coins they need they will be stuck there for a whole week until they can return to our alliance. I am not shy to spend but this wasteland alone cost me £190 just for one day.

Again, I don’t have to spend and neither do I or we have to fight. But the future brings no good tidings…..with Hq 40. That just invites the players to quit tbh. I can see that some servers will just turn inactive because they get wrecked by hq 40 players because paying taxes every week to servers with those players is going to suck major!

Yes I know it depends on all player and alliance stats when it come to pairing. But who would want to be stronger when this is going to be implemented and yes the game wants to make money. But this is going to endanger the longevity of it. End of whine and whinge. Good day everyone.

Just for your information: you don’t pay any more taxes when being occupied than you already do. The taxes the occupying state receives are the ones you pay on transporting and raiding sanctuaries either way, just that they usually go to the void. I'm in a much newer state, and these sorts of imbalances are happening in S295 as well. This is becoming a common complaint across the entire game - that the developers are setting up situations in which things are so one sided that there's no opportunity for competition. If it's impossible to win at all, why bother.

We are being pitted mostly against older states in S295. There's no rotation so that we are ever the older state, so the slightly older states keep winning the events and will outpower us completely because of this imbalance. In Nuka, I was up against a player from S31! They hit me within seconds of relocating into the event, and it decimated my troops. I didn't even have time to bubble up. In Resevoir War, my team was so outnumbered that our top players weren't even as strong as the rival's T1's. We just chose not to attend.

If the game becomes so hard, and so impossible, nobody will want to play. I'm an officer and my alliance members have been airing their frustrations. Smaller players are dropping like flies because P2P has become the only focus, but the game depends on all types of players.

i've been playing for almost a year now and it has changed drastically from a free to play game to pay to play, most events are impossible to get ranked in without spending a small fortune or hoarding for weeks. The arena is impossible to get into top 500 without having 5 maxed out heroes and that is impossible without paying for frags.

Res war - Reach out to them via message and try to broker out a deal with them. You might lose overall, but You can ask them if your alliance could occupy a building or two just for points so that you guys, while would still lose, get the occupation rewards.

That being said, I do agree that this game is pay to play, need to at least be a moderate spender to enjoyably play. Unless under the protection of a strong alliance, pure free to play players will just get zeroed all the time. And usually to get into those alliance you need to meet minimum Might requirements. So unless you are lucky or fortunate enough to find a good alliance that doesn’t mind taking in a weak free to play player, you might be out of luck.

Many strong/good/top alliances value nice active people more than the amount of money you spend. Sure, even better for all if you do both, but contacting an alliance and showing them you are very active and help a lot will probably get you in. For casual F2P players the struggle is real though…

Agree. Good recruitment into a top alliance should be a balancing act between finding strong players, and active/nice players when Might requirements are not met. Many big alliances are social, so a person can just hit it off with the people that can make the call to let a person in. And I guess, if all an alliance cares about is Might, and you aren’t a spender, then that alliance probably wouldn’t be a good fit for said person anyway!

If the only way to redeem a code is through a website link, then we must be able to inform our alliance members using the in-game communication system of that website, or the gifts are inherently unfair. You're welcome. This was the biggest issue I faced as an R4 in my alliance trying to help the newer players, especially while the Android users were easily able to redeem.

It actually took a lot of digging to even find the IOS link, so maybe that could be a coupled improvement where it's in the help section in game

I believe they can allow specific links like for the game, iOS gift code redemption, and discord links while banning others. I’m no programmer, but it should be possible to add those to the ‘allowed’ filter.
Which might actually help with censoring words like awwwww, as well, lol. The theory is that it reads more than two Ws as www and censors it.

I was actually able to type awwww the other night and it went through, so I think that is settled. But Discord invite links don't have dot com at the end, I've noticed, which is why they go through. Having links not be clickable unchecked is a good measure against phishing, spamming, advertising and similar issues. So implementing clickable links would mean a lot of other work needed to circumvent those. And in my opinion those negative effects outweigh the convenience to click a link directly inside the game.

If you type .c o m the filter does not pick it up. Also, if the domain TLD is less common the filter does not pick it up. For example the direct link to our alliance Discord has is discord.cc and we can post that just fine. The purpouse of most URL filtering is to prevent spam, but it is a poor prevention mechanism at best as spammers alreay know the tricks I just mentioned and many more. Don't waste your time trying to filter out URL and disconveninceing your users in the process. Just ensure they are not linkable so they have to manually copied and pasted into the browser. That make it not worth the trouble for most spammers.

I have been an IT professional for over 30 years. Listen to the grey beard on this one and don't fight the uphill battle of tryign to program a filter that will stop spammers, you will always lose, and at the expense of your community. Just make it just inconvienent enough to use the link that the spammers have no incentive to spam in the first place.
