Be perfectly honest, game developers don’t give a damn about us bunnies that are still playing this money hungry, money grabbing game. This last year I have seen this game go down the toilet with all the changes. It used to be a fun game to play, but now unless you’re a spender, there is no reason to stay in the game. I have been playing less and less, the only reason I’m still here is the friends I have made. I’m not finding the game to be at all enjoyable as it once was, it is such a shame that greed can stuff a perfectly good cash flow. The developers only give lip service, we hear what you are saying, but we really don’t give a damn, we will continue to stuff up a good game just to get more money. You idiots still pay us so why should we listen. As far as doing surveys, they are not true surveys otherwise there would be opportunities for negative comments, not just the positive. I will end up being like so many others and just walking away from the game totally disgusted with the outright greed being shown.

i think the worst change was t14 coming out. when i still had t11, i can tank over 50 hits from t13. then when i got to t12, the t14s only need alittle over 10 hits to empty my base.

im t13 now so with a little hope, i can last 20 hits from t14s but i wont be surprised if t15 came out next year. most people will just give up by then

Very disappointed with Valiant's changes. I find the bonuses absurd. Each player from each state had their chance before and was on equal footing with the others. What is the intention: to force people to do off week?
I won't do more in off week. It even makes me want to do less. I don't like this mentality of making the weak feel even weaker.

Exactly. The first 30 mins to an hour of VC is already a bloodbath. This will seriously make it difficult for people in smaller states or just less active states to get their points for VC. When people mentioned better start times for VC and WK, I’m pretty sure they didn’t mean this.

To mirror what has already been said, the changes for Valiant are terribly unfair to the players/states who do not spend or choose to spend frugally.
This is an attempt by the developers to force players to spend in Might Week, thereby proving their flopped “revision” of the event is/can be a success.
I am not fooled. I quit spending on Might Week when the changes were imposed, these changes to Valiant will not force me to spend in that event. If anything it makes me never want to spend at all in Might Week.

Put Valiant back the way it was. If that is not possible and buffs must remain, then distribute them in a more balanced and engaging way #📝game-suggestions message

If we are looking for clear suggestions on what needs to be fixed I would put it as follows.

1. Undo all changes to valiant. This event was the only one with a almost level playing field, for all states, big and small and all spending levels. Do not change valaint in order to force off WK participation when all any one has talked about is how horrible and game breaking off WK is now.

2. You have 2 options for off WK.
   Option 1: Roll it back to former rankings format immediately.
   Option 2: Keep the new format if you are so set on it, but use the extensive reports provided by Fog and other players to lower the pt requirements to what they were in ranking 6-8m pts= top 1%= 15 frags in off WK rankings for hero day (this was the easiest day for me to keep track of). Also add back in solar panels and nano tubes.

3. Drop the price point for the buy section. A 4.99 and 9.99 option with improved useful rewards (nano tubes, 5* boxes, perfect frags) none of the current offered rewards are worth 9.99 or 19.99.

4. State wide boosts for valiant are an interesting idea but no one wants the boost tied to off WK participation like with doom, especially with off WK as it. Roll off week back or lower pt requirements then maybe this could work.

5. Too many events going on at once. No one wants to try and earn pts for state for valiant and showdown at the same time.

I would not necessarily mind they overlapped IF it was under the old rankings system. Cause then pts for showdown, off WK and the valiant stuff all goes towards each other.

But with off the WK the way it is I'm not opening the amount of stuff required to get pts for this new valaint thing and I'm being far more selective with my showdown quests. No more trying to get all 5 personal hero quests for show down.

I've posted one way the buffs could be handled so that it gives all states something with some value, with the top states getting more military buffs and the lower ranking states getting higher economy buffs. This may not be the best way to do it but it does spread out what the devs are offering so that it's a little fairer. #📝game-suggestions message

Please, please, please speak up if you want things to be changed. You need to post here, upvote suggestions, message CS, and message your GMs if you have one. This also have to be sustained. Time delay does mean something. Because even if you take into account war frenzy etc it's still eliminating the even playing field that existed before. Everyone would scout out alliances, bookmark targets etc, small alliances, dead accounts and no matter your size or spending amount everyone started at the same time and had the same chances to try and hit their targets.
That level playing field is gone now, so yes the delay time punishments do mean something.

It was really frustrating when the same group of people kept pushing and asking for people to help and then when it went gamewide suddenly a bunch of people were upset and it was like, well, we've been messaging people for weeks to help but y'all wanted to wait.... if someone wants to take up the cause, there are screenshots of some of the spreadsheets I created and there are suggestions that could be pushed out again but I've moved on unless a significant number of people are willing to help.

Hello! I'd like to express my outrage at the changes you've made to Valiant Conquest. I'm convinced that any changes to the game shouldn't worsen the situation for players. The option to delay the time for departure to another state is completely discriminatory. Clearly, within 30 minutes, all headquarters will have been burned down by players from the state that received unjustified preferences. Players from states other than first place will only be left to gather resources to earn event rewards. Ranked rewards are out of the question. The event itself simply loses its meaning

Valiant event is my favorite event in game. Everyone could enjoy with that. Even free to players. But this buffs crazy. Here is a chat from a DM with my PNS OFFICIAL. In discussing the rules change, he mentioned the team’s efforts to “maintain the logic” of the event. I believe that my reply to him has proven accurate. I wonder about the opinions of others.

I wasn’t going to reply, but you used the word “logic” and so I feel compelled to reply because these changes are not logical.

There are two Saturday events: WK and VC. The distinction is that participation in WK is state-wide and VC is individual.

Had you “un-leveled” the playing field for WK based upon a state-wide metric, that would be logical (even if it is unwelcome).

However, you now have introduced a state-wide metric into the individual event. This is not logical.

Suppose I decided that I like VC enough that I want to put in extra effort. I as an individual am now required to raise the average of my entire state to improve my ranking. That is a mind-blowingly steep ask.

Finally, you have done something truly vile and seem to be unaware. Let me explain clearly.

Any time you encounter a list of privileges those at the top are in better shape than those at the bottom. This ranking is necessary throughout any game. It’s fundamental to the concept.

However, one should appreciate the difference between a list of privileges that has always been there and one that is newly introduced.

When a list is introduced there is more than the hierarchy, there is an absolute scale reference…that which you had before the change. The absolute reference has profound impact and PNS seems unaware of this simple human factor. Let me lay out the three cases to illustrate the point.

CASE 1:
Everyone gets a benefit as compared to before. Top of the list is the biggest benefit, bottom of the list is the smallest.

CASE 2:
Top of the list gets benefit, bottom gets penalty. Everyone at the bottom feels as though they are the victim of theft.

CASE 3:
Top of the list gets mild penalty and bottom gets severe penalty. Everyone top to bottom is angry.

PNS chose case 2. The people at the bottom of the list have been penalized.

I think PNS is unaware about how severe the 30 minute penalty really is. One can perform a calculation of the impact two ways:

METHOD 1:
The event is 24 hours…30 minutes is one part in 48 or about 2%. Why should anyone fret over 2%, even if it is a penalty?

METHOD 2:
Those who actually play VC know that virtually every unshielded sanctuary is on fire in about 30 minutes. By this math, the penalty is 100%. You simply cannot be a serious participant.

Everyone who actually plays and enjoys VC understands that METHOD 2 is the correct calculation. As a result, measured on an absolute scale of now vs before, individuals who live in states at the top get a few % boost. Individuals who live in states at the bottom receive a 100% penalty. Those individuals have three choices:

• Work individually to move up the rank of your whole state. This is an impossibly tall ask.
• Immigrate to a new state.
• Set a shield and sleep in.
• Quit the game.

There is no logic or justification to impose a fresh 100% penalty on 40% of everyone who plays.

I presume that the 100% penalty imposed upon the INDIVIDUAL weekend event upon the basis of a state-wide metric is considered as merely 2% by the developers. Please help them correct this false impression.

Sorry for the long reply, but when you used the phrase “maintaining the underlying logic” I couldn’t help but reply. In my mind the underlying logic has not been maintained since the impact of delayed event entry has been woefully underestimated.

I think that if they are dead set on a “penalty” for non-compliance is the right way to evolve this event, them let me make a humble suggestion.

The community of players would easily trade losing 30 minutes at the beginning of the event for losing 6 hours off the end of the event.

This sucks. Vc was one of my favorite events. I am in an older state that is less active and with a bunch of farms. We don’t stand a chance of placing well. This used to be a free event. Now they are looking for ways to generate revenue on off weeks from ace. It’s crazy to think all these events are not enough. The devs are showing their greed. This will ultimately hurt the game and force people to leave. Hopefully this is a one and done and we never have to see it again.

I will say the march speed & gathering boosts are pretty nice, I'm impatient lol but again wasn't worth emptying my bags. Clearly the delayed start appears to be the thing that is upsetting most people. Solution, get rid of delayed start and replace it with reduced war frenzy timer (someone above suggested, sorry don't recall name).

Yes the devs have ruined yet another event. This is the first time I’ve not bothered to take part in valiant in many months. To sit watching and not being able to take part has destroyed the fun of the game. The strong states get stronger and spend more and the other states watch and eventually quit. When will the devs realise that if the whales have no live accounts to hit they will quit too. That’s yet another straw added to this camels back.

You are correct to a point but you are missing, what is impo, the main reason for this change.
That PNS official saying this change is logical, is corporate speak for, players are not buying or participating in off wk to our satisfaction.

They are refusing to acknowledge that off WK changes broke the game and disproportionately impact new states, f2p and light spenders.

So instead of rolling this back they introduce a metric to the game that further punishes the groups they don't like, attempts to force spending, and does not line up the new pt requirements for VC with the regular off WK days.

I don't care if one or two days did line up that's not the point and brkng it up is sidestepping the entire issue at hand.
All of this is to further push spending, reward those who have deep pockets and punish anyone else.

I’d like to suggest the developers hire someone to design their surveys in the future. While this isn’t as bad as the one for might week it’s still poorly designed. At most, 3 options should have been presented - revert, keep the new delays, and other. Other should have allowed people to put in suggestions. It did not. I know for a fact it didn’t because I used it to see what would happen. Plenty of companies do surveys all the time and I’ve never seen ones as bad as what this company does.

What did I think about the pre vc and showdown together? I didn’t like it!

There are wayyy too many events going on at once.

I made multiple accounts because there wasn’t as many events going on and was possible to do them all. Now I feel that I have to let go of a couple of them.

Here is what I noticed more recently about showdown, there was less easy high point quests and more of speed up x days, get modification material or buy packs. They really like pushing the buying packs…

They changed the quests for the Card Flip quest to the same pay to unlock a bonus column as every other event. Why does everything have to be exactly the same? I liked the quests for the card flip. Spend x diamonds, gain x diamonds, etc rather than just pay to unlock a board.

We are usually near the weakest of matchups, by alliance might, and there's usually one beast in the group. Pns uses some odd probability distribution functions for random applications and they're sometimes discrete, not continuous. Across the board.

For people still trying to level up those heroes, that does not sound like "improving the potential rewards." Sounds like the exact opposite. Unless you spend lots of money, of course.

I only try as hard as I do to get the sisters' frags. Now that has been reduced even more. And those now reduced four have moved to the top three positions in ranking, which I will never reach. So, they reduced the hero frags dramatically when they switched to this phase system and now they've reduced it even more.

We had a really good player quit because of the first change to phases. We have some that have barely been hanging on and now I'm concerned they will quit. Honestly, I'm considering it, too. This game has gotten horrible with rewards. And I'm not even F2P.

They are reducing the point requirements, which is good, but are just reducing the hero frags AGAIN, so it is a mute point. The main complaint with the change in the first place was that it made it harder to level up the heroes and they are just making it harder to do that even further for those that were willing to complete phases 2 and/or 3. It is putting cake sprinkles on a turd and calling it a cake. It is still a turd. And most players hate it when stuff is limited to only top x ranking, yet they are adding it into off week Hero frags now.

Report that we all want it to go back to the way it was with the ranking system. I already have all my heroes done but if I didn't, and I didn't spend.. I'd quit. It's too hard and not worth it. I bet most of, if not all the player base would agree. It was a terrible change and no one wanted it. This is an attempt to further slow down progress for everyone to get them to play longer or PAY longer. Pretty rediculous change and it's blatantly obvious.

I know you're not the one deciding so no one should be mad at you, but please forward that on and tell the captains they should really reconsider these changes because people are quitting and they're very quickly losing the trust of the remaining F2P/small spenders.

Counterproductive... Already crappy rewards. Reducing difficulty is great, but reducing rewards only lessens the desire to achieve them. Especially since the feedback was that they are too difficult & too few rewards. This as usual only helps ranks 1-3, not the average player. Do better.

Unless it sync's up with alliance showdown, I do the bare minimum Might Week to finish phase 1. Not worth depleting my bag for such little reward. I would rank top 10% almost every Might Day under the old system. Now I focus on ACE Commander until all those heroes are maxed.

I'm sure they have seen a massive fall off in interest. It's their own doing and it simple to revert back. Diamond Might Day I'm still top 10% so don't mess with that

Level 16 DoA was great,we've cleared it, and i pulled the 10 perfect frags so cant complain, we now need an extra level for sonic!

The improve might adjustments, i dont like it, it seems to be getting harder and harder for shooters to get their phoenix, LJ and lady m frags. It should be turned back to how it was....

Making it easier to get less rewards does nothing for anyone. The update, as usual, is not for anything other than an attempt to make up for lost revenue. They charge more and give less because more and more people refuse to spend or have quit all together. They are trying to make the remaining players pay for the ones that have left. All it will do is drive away more players and reduce the spending of the ones that stay.
Keep adding things, make the whales happy, but the overwhelming majority of players are not whales and will simply leave when they cannot play anymore. Like any pyramid, keep the base happy and the top will remain steady. Eliminate the base, the top will come down
