I'm waiting to see how the platinum cards goes but I'm not holding my breath. The silver card is an affordable way to get perfect frags and was one of the better improvements in the game. As I said earlier, I don't see a reason to remove something. Just add in the platinum card and give players options that suit their needs.

Yeah I’m concerned about the silver card removal because it’s a good regular and occasional buy now. The old version of it was less useful with the random card so I had stopped buying it but when they put the p frags I occasionally would get it. I don’t see why they can’t just add a platinum. Yes, it reads to me that it’s going to everyone. I can’t tell from how it’s written but it looks like it’ll be the version we had last week, which does make getting the cards with Twins harder and removes access to nanotubes, etc. in the rankings and things like diamonds in the state rankings.

I don’t hate the permanent option, just think $100 would be a better price point for it. I do find them swapping the speedups for lesser res boxes annoying. Those items are not compatible. They actually improved the silver card when they got rid of the random hero card and put in perfect frags. Now they’ve devalued it some by removing the speedups.

Did anyone compare the new achievements yet anywhere? The g/c/m/c ones seem pretty easy/reasonable. The Nanoweapon seems high in comparison, and I am not sure on the Glory & Bio or New Development.

The ones for gcmc and new dev are definitely to a player’s advantage. I went really hard for nova/mod and I think I had 200 mil points. I could have done it with less but it was still more than what they’re asking for now. The top 3 when I did it were all over 100 million. Hero might be fairly close to what it’s been and I’m not sure about the others but most of what I’m seeing is they’re going to be better for players overall.

So I'll gladly pass on any achievements in order to be able to continue to get lady m +8 and twins. Hell I still have phoenix at +7 cause I had shifted back to lady m for march size.

Yeah, I could tell that most of them were definitely easier than top 3 rank, only ones I wasn't sure about were Nano, Bio, and Dev. I attempted top 3 in Nano before they made the change, because I didn't know what they might change it to, but ended up missing it. I wasn't really ready to attempt it, but was worried the new achievements would be stupid, so gave it a shot. I would have been able to hit that 30 million in Nano pretty soon if I had waited, but hind sight is always 20/20.

Gear, Nano, and Bio are only ones I have left, and I have plenty to get this new gear achievement already.

OMG! They put the first 2 cards with the twins at 1.75 million points, which is the same amount needed to finish the day.

This restores some of the original rewards, at least for hero day.

When, I'll say it again, under ranking I could get 15 frags for 6-8m pts........so them making 2 twin frags accessable at 1.75m is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

I both liked and hated the competitive nature of the ranking. I like the set points because it gets rid of some of the pay to play element and means, with saving, a broader range of players could complete the achievements if they wanted to.

IMO, them pushing out the new achievements is 100% proof they will never fully revert back to the old event though. This is them saying 'we adjusted it to meet your demands as much as we are willing to, now live with it'. Only way we could get them to give us back ranking rewards or comparable rewards at this point would be full on spending boycotts that included at least most of the whales, and I have seen zero indication they are willing to do that. I saw little to no change in spending habits amongst the biggest players since they change to off week events in my battle division.

I mean, we even have a single hater (or perhaps secretly a dev) now that is downvoting almost every game suggestion about rolling back might week, so that they have at least one downvote, lol.

There is no reason to continue with the daily might events any longer, once you complete the 'Phase 1' steps. Too many resources used up, with no real benefit.

Before, there was a reason to continue on, for the chance to get to the 'top 30%'. And if you missed out on the goal, you would just fall back to the previous level of rewards.

Special ops change is good I think it means that you dont get locked out of 1st place (achievment) just cause you arent able to play for 1-2 mins after reset

The basics - keep moving. Points are scored by battling so you need to advance to buildings while holding your own. Someone in one of my alliances likes to be disruptive to they run around battling other alliances. Doesn’t always win but gets a lot of points and keeps the other alliances busy while the rest of us battle our buildings and wait for the Kraken to open. If your troops are idle make sure they’re heading back out to a building to fight. You don’t get points for sitting in buildings like you for Res and Clash.

I am not, getting the rewards feels impossible. I am what the vast majority is, free to play/ low spenders. All you do is keep raising the bar for the events I do a lot of saving for to even have a decent chance to get anything good. Now my growth is at a halt because of these updates. I can’t upgrade the twins, phoenix, and lady m. Pretty sad really the fall from grace started when you introduced nano weapons and made things more pay to win. I am approaching 5 years of playing and soon I may retire them.

The reality is this game only cares about the players that drop big money, and they didn't slow down much, if at all, during the rollout of these changes. We are probably lucky we got them to make any changes at all and give us back what little they did. At this point we most likely either accept it, and you just get 4 frags each event by doing the bare minimum, or ignore might week. I just feel sorry for the younger players that haven't maxed out any of the might week heroes yet, they are really getting the short end of the stick, and of course any new players that join after the changes won't know any better.

I have a few in newer states where the account is smaller than most, I don't love that feeling there either but i use it as a way to remind myself how to make our smaller players at home feel like they contribute and active > big any day of the week by letting them fully participate and not making them feel like they have no value bc they truly do.

Now as for off week, it is still nerfed, no ranks demotivates, getting so many less frags for the effort demotivates and generally everyone i talk to thinks it's meh but pns seems to think we're okay. Literally the only thing that will get through to them is to not spend but most whales have maxed heros and it doesn't bother them so much. Short version we're basically stuck with it unless the whales care.

The game has changed a lot in the last year or two - many of the original “big” players have moved on. Some of us are of the opinion that if those players were still with us, they’d be of more help than many of the “bigs” now. Older bigs played with smaller players because that’s how they started the game. Now we have people buying accounts and moving right into large alliances with other spenders. That’s not to say the newer bigs don’t care but there’s a big difference in understanding. When you start out with, and continue to play with, players who don’t spend or don’t spend as much you see how growth is and here the conversations about what they need to do to grow.

I do not know any bigs who would have influence enough that if they threw their weight around that PNS would listen.
Or exactly how many bigs would be needed.

I don’t know, but it might make getting people on board with a spending boycott easier. To be honest, if PNS doesn’t keep track of the type of packages that are bought, they’re not doing a very good job with their financial data. I work for a small education company and we can tell you exactly which of our products are selling and where that sale came from. my alliance is tight knit, that is not the problem, leaders/officers are great to make everyone valued and encourage to participate. Yes you need the fillers for water wars, and number of rallies for speaker, but the matter of fact is, at around 400M true might, it does not matter much if you show up or not. As long as you have your bigs there, and some fillers you can do the same. So yes your alliance will support you for sure, and you will feel that you are part of a team, but the fact is the fact

My alliance doesn't make me feel unvalued. I'm a wk organizer, an r4 and have helped other players learn the ropes. But like you are saying at some point accounts of my size feels obsolete. Yes my account it built better then some people who spend because I had great peoepl who helped me build properly.
It's the lack of growth and progress that is depressing.

Trying to compete in valiant, helping with alliance events but knowing that after a certain point your contribution doesn't really change anything.
Not seeing progress in destroyer scores, etc etc.

It has nothing to do with my actual alliance members and everything to do with the culture of the game that devs push, which is essentially only the rich matter.

In my p2w alliances I feel pretty insignificant other than during showdown, at home where we are more f2p we go out of our way to make the smaller accounts feel equally valued.

I still go out for valiant and I do enjoy it, it is one of my favorite events. But the recent changes have left me feeling at a disadvantage and missing out quite a bit of growth that would allow me to hit some higher accounts.
For the most part my schedule hasn't been lining up well with valiant. Am not able to get up at the 6am start time for good RSS hits. I still get points then I'm able to go out in the evening but I have to deal with slimmer pickings and many hqs left are outside of my target range.

my alliance does the same, bigs going together with smaller accounts, rein them when they are hitting others, we are sharing target cords, rss etc. Same in other events, we cheer for each other no matter what. BUT... this is the team work, and what all great alliances do for each other, which makes the game better for us smaller ones. And here we are talking about what PNS SHOULD DO for the smaller players too. Are they really just hoping that the teams will keep the small players in the game, and let those teams do the work for them? And honestly instead giving a little more breadcrumbs to the small ones, they take it away??? And on the top of that try to convince us that it is actually good for us. Honestly that is more insulting to me than the "take-away" itself. Don't take me a fool

Ive never personally had an issue with whales. It's a business for pns to get money. I don't spend to build myself and ignore most skins unless in shovels. Most things will be spend directed I hate what they did with off week but as f2p I still got a way to upgrade the 3 outside off week so I changed my focus there. The off week change affected everyone not just f2p which is a huge thing I feel f2p tend to miss when getting upset I don't see anyone buying the passes for off week in my ally. Brightside out of it we got easier achievements to a certain extent even tho the week sucks now. But this off week changed affects everyone

They did effect everyone but it is a disproportionately affecting new accounts( 2years and younger) , f2p and moderate spenders.

I think the reason why this keeps cycling back to whales and it feels like we ignore the fact that it effects everyone is that it doesn't really affect them necessarily. I'm sure everyone with that 1.2b might and higher have all those heroes maxed out, all the specialities done etc etc. So that means this decision by whoever decided it doesn't really hurt them. Sure it could be disappointing to them but skipping it doesn't hurt them, skipping out on buying the crappy pay wall rewards doesn't hurt them.
So that leaves the reasoning that they are trying to force spending (more then they already do) on all other spending groups.
As to them being a business? I hate this reasoning because then it gets into discussions or morality and the type of business being run. I guess in this sense profit is all that matters at the expense of anyone who can't or won't purchase $1000a of dollars worth of stuff.

I'm not sure who it helps essentially, but I pretty much did the minimal for 4 frags before since the ranking in my state bracket was horrible to get a 75%+. Not changing now since all the frags are loaded on the finishing part 1 still.

One a plus note, the change to achievements was interesting since I went 4 years before finally getting 3rd place during new dev ranking. The requirments for those achievements are a lot lower than I had to go through now.

That's usually about right. Chip and cube day are always terrible to score on. So is gear day. 3m points might put me in the top 30% if I was lucky on old ranking.
Bio is always horrible as well, relied heavily on build day and hero day.

Whales are the main part of the game eco system, they are the main part of revenue, without it there is no game. So I think everyone understands that devs will think about them first and foremost. Small spenders should count though too, the many little transactions are adding up, so a slap in their face is not the best idea. now the problem with this system change is the old system did not hurt the whales at all, and the new system is just not good enough to motivate them for more spending on it, or at least to me it does not worth the money. So there is no valid reason for the change. They made a mistake, and instead of admitting it, they tweak, lie and bull 💩 about it. Even just staying quite would be better, but no, they openly lie about it with this "positive feedback" and stuff. Personally I know that i will not give my money to someone who lie to my face, no matter how much i liked the product before
