It would impact your Alliance Rank rewards in pre-expedition, as it's just ranked against your own state alliances. But your Phase Points, State Rank, Phase Rank & Total rank would not be impacted!

i spent $185 on the warhound sale (which i planned to do regardless to try to promote my hounds) but that’s besides the point because they weren’t max enhanced instantly last time either. it took time due to needing to beat warhound labs and zombie lairs to obtain the depleted uranium required, as well as being able to dismantle excess warhounds

The safe zone will always be the safe zone. you can move the faction base but this will not become a safe zone.

for example, if you have a territory that has been cut off from your safe zone by another faction taking the surrounding territories, you can move your faction base to the territory that has been cut off so that you can still defend it.

if you didn’t move the faction base there after being cut off, you would be left unable to defend it and the other faction would be able to take it uncontested

The one thing I will point out - there is a limit on how many footholds a faction can hold throughout the event, based on the Chronicles. Factions will need to make decisions of what to hold and what not to, as they move through the map. That could benefit your alliance as time goes on 🙂

Primarily the shortfall is troop size if u have the might war hound and troop type. You need to level up and upgrade the war hounds more to advance. Mil Research will also help with power, but the troop size increase in research doesn’t increase your war hound march size, only main march. Labs are based on war hound troop size.

Are there any benefits into moving your faction base?

It can be used as a strategy if a state takes a foothold that cuts your connection to other footholds. This will prevent you from sending troops to the isolated buildings and they can be taken pretty easily.
If you move the faction base to the isolated side, you can send troops to the walls and try to defend them.
Last Doomsday one of the states used this strategy against us, but it can help for a short time (to reorganize or to let more people to come online, if it's night time for them)

So one my faction buddies compared using seige warhound and his main troop warhoud and didnt see a difference in kills or wounded.

He noted:

"Sending my siege war hound lowers the durability by 900 compared to my regular war hound. Same amount of wounded and kills. And I have 200k less troops in my march with the siege war hound.

Lowering durability might mean we take over the foothold quicker im assuming?"
