Please either do away with this event or allow it to be an event you can opt out of. Sign up only. This event is way too much considering the game is already time consuming with full-time jobs. As it stands now you're just forcing 4 chats on us and it's overwhelming....also during SVS events it turns it into 5 chats. And it's impossible to ignore this event since you're auto enrolled and as an R5 you end up an automatic R4 and all the other alliances can see when you and your players are online. That turns into a harassment issue when you choose not to play this crap show of an event.

Can someone please tell me how it affects everyone in events like sonic Dr etc… how they have to be ran and so forth

From what I can tell Sonic has to be ran in Doomsday, but you have to come out for DR.
I don't like this because everyone doesn't want to participate or cannot participate in Doom due to hq size. And then you have to nag your players to come out so you can get the fort filled for DR, thus using another Direct Relocate to go back in, and maybe another to change your location.
I assume we will have to come out for DOA. And then there is Res War/Clash.

Correct! We are running Sonic today. Should be interesting, since everyone is not participating in Doom.
It looks like you keep rewards and all those things you have collected or earned before leaving, but if something occurs, say taking another foothold while out, you wouldn't get those specific rewards since you were out. You would get any "we/faction accomplished this" checkmark type rewards, but anything specific doesn't look like it. This is my understanding and from what it looks like so far. I have farms that don't participate, and they still get some checkmark rewards we complete as a whole. My farms have enough War hounds for all marches and they haven't stepped a toe in Doom. I am no expert, figuring out like everyone else so don't hold me to this. 🤣

Most of my alliance left the event last night. They were disgusted and frustrated and most have no intention of going back. We ran Dead Rising so everyone could participate. Nothing happened for the members still on the doomsday field. I tore down the Sonic in doomsday and we will run it in state at our usual time. Most of the chat announcements aren't even working for the party and lairs.

I have been a loyal player (and spender) for over 4 years now. This is the worst event rollout I have ever seen in any game.... Ever. More thought needs to be put into the implementation of a huge event like this and more direction needs to be given with better options for removal of bad leaders. Please do better

While I do have a base in a state that is in the lower levels it is too low level to participate so I can't even help there. We've asked for more information and it's been seriously lacking. Most of the other moderators are in states above 200. They really should have called this event an alpha and not a beta. Beta tests are usually more fleshed out.

I don't think you can run Sonic in state, I think they are forcing us to run it in Doom. I missed when my alliance was supposed to do Sonic, due to an appt. But one of my peeps posted this screenshot, and we didn't have Sonic in Doomsday at the time

Not sure I understand your question. But there is one map with multiple factions. Each faction is going to be working to take over the footholds/buildings as they open. As we progress, the different factions will start fighting over the different buildings, and attacking each other, if not already. Currently, my faction has two foothold that are safe areas for us now. I see the same when I look around the map, the other factions on my map all have 2 footholds now. At reset will work on taking over a 3rd foothold. There is another map with a different grp of factions. There are 6 factions on my map, so 12 states are participating.
Hope that answered your question, or got close.

Doomsday is just too much and too long with everything else going on, imo. Maybe they need to suspend other events during Doomsday. And it is not fair to those who are unable to participate due to hq size or just don't want to participate.
For events that we have to come out for, it is a pain because ppl start complaining about Doomsday rewards. So either the alliance tries to function as normal with events, or say screw it.

We ran Sonic today in Doom....glitchy!!!! We figured out a work around, but still 🤦🏽‍♀️

Sonic Issue 1: Some players would click on the Sonic Decoy to start a rally, but they got the starter screen instead. Work around was to click start, close the next screen, then they were able to start a rally.
Sonic Issue 2: Some were getting a "Less than 71 hrs since participated..." message when they tried to join someone's rally. Had two possible work arounds. 1 player said they relocated on the Doom map, and they were good to go. The other player tried starting their rally 1st, then they were able to join others.

I don't know if this was just an 'us' issue, but wanted to share with others just in case

We ran it in the doomsday map today, and after starting one rally, one of our members found that she couldn't start or join from any of her other accounts. When she switched back to her main (that she had already started one rally from), she couldn't start a rally there.

I enjoy meeting new people.... But this is just crazy/ insulting, people can't log into their accounts, others can't join Doom, certain events can't be done unless you're in Doom. This game is built on friendships, not on the rewards and certainly not on excluding our friends and friends from smaller alliances; new events and "normal events that now can't be held in our normal alliance maps." Aside from the greed that is constantly shown by the lousy rewards for a metric ton of work and money, you are excluding most people. Y'all should be embarrassed of what y'all are doing to good people in this game for money.

The cost to return to Doomsday isn’t one direct locate, it’s two because god knows where you’ll end up when you land! If they have to be greedy and make us use a locate to enter it should be a random relocate. You have to keep using DL to hit footholds and if you run out of them and diamonds it’s 49.99 US for 15 relocates. Can you say cash grab?

I found being Aide and needing to give titles to new players everyday for their participation in Wasteland king has me stressing. Have to be in my state in order to give new players titles. Meaning if Im in the Expedition state, I need to relocate back home more than once to do that. And its taking alot of relocates. As well as having to relocate to other buildings to takeover. Not every player has a million dollars to buy relocates. Once they run out, then what?. So I won't be able to participate in the event any longer. Relocate cost should be removed if this event will be permanent.

If you want to do regular events like DR and DOA you must go back to the state map to do them so I'm assuming to do VC or WK it'll be the same.

You can go back and forth I asked my GM for pns Diona and it's the only way you can do regular events your just going to need lots of direct relocates. Have done it a few times myself

I also tested with my farm quitting the alliance and joining a non doomsday alliance to see what would happen and everything was fine when I went back.

So far... the best thing from the event is meeting new players. While the most negatives are the lack of info and heavily on the disconnect with the regular gameplay.

Although it doesn't go unnoticed, but glad some players are understanding that the bugs are part of the beta test. Hopefully further improvements are made during the event so that those locked in can enjoy it. 😬

Small question.. in most of these chronicles, it says “your faction” but the gathering one says “all participants”, so does that mean ALL players in the map and not just your faction? Want to make sure we are understanding it correctly.

I like to look for positives as well so one positive thing I would say it's nice that PNS are trying to introduce new events. The game has become very stale, particularly for us 'older' players so it's nice to see that PNS are trying to fresh things up a little

Can someone help me understand the purpose of the expedition map. Seems to be very boring. Unless you are going for a sentry foothold, which has limits. There’s nothing to do. Collecting is a challenge as I had less resources again besides the taking of a sentry foothold hold. And if you leave the map, you lose out on the chances to gain rewards. And regular events are seemly challenging to navigate within this event.

You can leave the doomsday map at any time and go back to your state. It is a very long event and a lot of waiting around. Sonic is the only event that needs to be done on the doomsday map, the rest you go home for, so it costs a lot in direct relocates to go back and forward

yes you can go back and forth with a cost as you mentioned. you also need to be gathering in the expedition map, and tiles are extremely limited (again with the expection of taking a foothold). However, it's very hard to get a whole faction to be on at the same time so if you miss out due to timing, you're really out of luck. so there really isn't much to do on the map unless you're taking a foothold.

For now, yes. Once the level 3 footholds open up and faction territory is touching, you can start attacking other factions. The “safe” zone cannot be attacked though.

They also don’t show up in alliance chat that a lair is being run, so you have to just watch for the icon on the side.

Overall this event is poorly planned and poorly timed/executed for such an involved event. Yes, it is a lot of waiting but there are other goals to hit within the map so you have to stay in.

I personally hope they just disband the event before it’s even complete. Just give everyone timed tavern coins and say “yeah, so we didn’t think this through, here’s some tavern coins and 50 relocates.”

I could be wrong but I think if you stay in doomsday world you won't need a shield as VC only happens in 'real world'. If you stay in doomsday world the red dragon logo will appear in your spot

For those who have given feedback on the direct relocate consumption for Doomsday, I've reported it to the captains and received a 📝 reaction (🤣 indicating that it's noted/acknowledge, I think) ... we shall see if any improvement comes from it.

Players have commented several ways that the event can improve - but the one that players seem most strongly about are the type and number of relocates that are required to keep connected to their home state/alliance and participate in regular events.

In my personal opinion they should supply an extra large jar of VPJ to all free players so it won’t hurt too much ! This is the latest in a line of events designed specifically to screw the players over and not listen when players complain ,I cannot get help with this faction crap because I can’t read in Japanese and the built in translator gets as far as network error before locking me out and doomsday gives an unauthorised message if I try to read messages from my alliance members. Everything now is taking part in doomsday at a cost of direct relocation or 2000 diamonds which as a totally free to play player I think is a pisstake since I have been playing for almost four years,I am 62 and play for the social aspect not as a contender but feel as I’m being driven out for profit or forced to pay! As the sole income in my household and not a benefit layabout I feel cheated by this game ,my only saving is I only time has been wasted and not a fortune like a lot of my friends that have just walked away because what they have paid for is not fit for purpose and mostly incomplete unless they pay more!.

Utter and absolutely rubbish event. It costs a small fortune to play ( beta should be free ), it’s boring as hell, and takes a fargin month for the idiocy to complete. Poorly thought out, poorly executed, cash grab.

This event is like a 6 week long wasteland/clash/nuka event….which no one asked for.

The heals don’t cost any rss and the acquisition of needles is better than deep heal. This is the only positive thus far. Let me touch on what needs fixing.

1. There are events that can only be done in doom…and some you can only run outside of doom. Oh, but it’s costs a relocate every time you want to pop out and in. And you also have to use relocated within the map every time you need to attack a tower unless you want to spend tons of diamonds to speed up.

2. The matching is…lopsided to say the least. I don’t know how the matching is made, but putting factions together that are closer in might so that there’s not one giant faction taking over the map would have made the event slightly more enjoyable.

3. We’re doing all of this for….timed tavern coins. There is an HQ skin and frame, but the majority of the rewards are timed tavern coins. Which are fairly easy to obtain and save up.

4. We’re spending money for these doom vehicles (which are annoying to have to add to the march), and they’re getting reset when the event is done. It’s fairly simple: what we spend money on should be able to be kept and/or used.

5. The time between challenges or goals or whatever is at least 2 days. It’s such a long time. Again, this is like a WK/clash style event and its lasting DAYS.

6. There’s no actual technical support or direction from CS. Which…is par for the course, but why the hell do you create an event, release it, and then not have direction or support for the people trying to figure it out? At this point we all know you just want money, but good lord…you’re making the game too complicated and unenjoyable. Again, no one asked for an event like this.

7. The max fuel is 12. And it takes an hour to regenerate. This is just dumb and gets expensive.

Overall this event is 1/100. (The one is because the event hospital is faster than doom and doesn’t require rss.)

i am sure most of the ones i am writing have already been posted but this event was not really well thought through at all

not to mention that the hqs that can't join if they aren't a higher level can't participate in Speaker / Sonic for 28 days because it can only be run inside Doomsday - they can't even participate outside at the same time and the damage be combined
in some of the alliance i have accounts in this has caused a drop in online activity from members that weren't able to qualify to join

Rally notifications not being in chat is annoying as hell

Glitches like crazy when your faction is running rallies on buildings and people running lairs at the same time you can't always see the right rallies.

R5 being the only person that can send Faction mail - why that makes no sense

only officer can place a mill again silly should be r4 like a normal alliance

This event makes having a leadership team seem null and void since only limited roles can help with things

adding to you point 2: we got matched with 2 giant faction in ours and once we reached 20 footholds they now hold the entire map and the other 3 Faction are all reduced to the safe area only
Also matching the faction group together better is needed so the faction itself is not lopsided with one state being stronger then the other state in the faction

Considering the amount of rallies and Super reins are needed they should be a discounted diamond cost to these in doom map or at lease a way to boost diamonds rewards during this event

During SvS and VC there should be an automatic cease fire imposed so that people can safely participate in the state events without losing any ground they have gain being made to choose between your state and this event is crappy

your daily heal kits should be able to of been banked up

when destroyer was running some people were a 20 minute march away and couldn't port closer as it was outside an area they could get to there should be more then one on the whole map considering it normally only pops in the mud in normal map

i really hope this doesn't make it passed Beta testing

The doomsday event also messes up VC, for our first VC in doomsday 4 out of the 5 states were doomsday competitors therefore we were faced with a bunch of red dragon 'holding logo's so VC was a complete bust for us

So 2/3 of the way through doomsday you change the expedition hospital from 90% heal to 80% heal and auto heal from 30% per week to 20% per week, it is one thing to create a new game to increase the revenue stream pretty damn disingenuous to change the rules when players are already mid game and try to force new revenue.

That’s supposed to be the home base. But i don’t really know the function. 91 switched their home base from the safe zone, so they’re able to still move within the other territories they still have for now, but once you hit the spot the shield is on, it automatically attaches to the next highest building your faction holds (i think)

So maybe the purpose is that people will be auto-ported there when cut off on the map? But there are still bases in this faction’s safe zone (completely cut off) and in three territories the hold (also completely surrounded). so i truly do not know.

I have a few thoughts regarding this new doomsday event that the first 100 states are currently in.
Firstly thank you for coming up with something to bring our states together but I don't think this event was properly thought out and it has turned out to be quite a money pit.

1. While everyone are in the doomsday event the Governors and Aides of every state are unable to activate state boosts, allocate state boxes, allocate titles, coffers etc. We are also not able to carry out our DR/ DOA events while in here. How are we expected to port out of the event every single time to do our allocation and events when it uses a direct relocate each and every single time. Relocating during this month should be free for every participants on and off the doomsday map so our states on regular world map as well as in Doomsday can still operate as usual.
2. You've brought us together and separated us into Factions yet alliances are still segregated in their own group and cannot join each other's rallies. We can join rallies to buildings and walls but not zombie lair rallies to others in our Faction yet completing X amount of rallies as a faction are quests in this event.
3. Making a territory safe with your Faction flag is a feature yet it doesn't work because another player/special person can still come and attack your headquarters and building and gain control over the territory you previously marked as "SAFE"⁰ What is the point of making something safe when it can be taken away on a whim?

4. The event is set where you loose 10% of your troops at the end if you were not able to heal everything. I believe that rule should only apply to building/wall attacks and nothing else. What about those players who have fallen victim to big might small everything else individuals and have been zeroed by said individuals. Those players can no longer participate in the event nor start rallies, join the pit, send out gathers, nothing because all their troops are in the exhibition infirmary. I for one have 37mil troops in the infirmary because I was hit by 2bil might player multiple times until everything was dead, all because I was out making preparations for Hurricane Milton and couldn't come on game to shield. I will need 997k diamonds to heal all troops. In my opinion base hits should all fall under the guidelines of Valiant and all your troops taken from base hits should be returned to you. 10% loss should only apply to troops lost from actively fighting for territory. We have spent alot of money and time in our bases for losses to be permanently incurred this way.
5. We don't get to keep our hounds after event is closed. That is wrong in my eyes. If a player has spent their hard earned dollars to obtain the hounds then those items should stay when event closes. I have never seen an event where we work to get a new stat boost and not been able to keep it when it ends. We paid for them. If these hounds were on a loan then they should not have required spending money to get and advance them.
6. Conquering territories should not be based on who gets the last attack in. If two or more teams are fighting over 1 territory then the closure/conquerer should be similar to that of Wasteland Conquest where the longest occupation team wins. Closure should go to the team who has dealt the most damage to the building and not to someone who just happen to get the wall at the last minute and dealt the last blow.

These things and more need to be addressed if you expect to make doomsday a successful and enjoyable event.
Yes this is a war game, yes we come here to fight, yes I love fighting but there are some in this game that have serious personality complexes and just bully those smaller than them simply because they can. We have 1 week left and it is very sad to see how this event is turning out. Unnecessary fires everywhere as if they are pirates!!

Doomsday sucks and it's gotten so bad alliance members changing their names in game to reflect this.

1. It's to long. Event could be 2 weeks and maybe people that are stuck in this not so "beta" testing might do it again

2. When you return to the state map since we are forced to fight states and alliances not in event troops should be returned, if not then we should only face others in same event for wk or rw.

3. Get rid of the direct relocate that was just a jerk move

4. All events done on state map it is not fair to those that maybe didn't qualify or joined the alliance after event started

5. Factions should be double states in their own map single factions in their own.

6. Faction mail should be able to be sent by officers not just leader

7. Govenor and aid should be able to do boxes, boost, and titles from doomsday if we are held hostage in that map.

8. WK and valiant should give auto 24 hour bubbles to all footholds and footholds should not open during these events

9. Footholds should open at all different times this is a global game and it's not fair to those in that can not be in during one specific time to try to get quest points

10. Finally pre expedition total waste the rewards for the amount of items used should reflect like gaining epic warhound or even frame, skin or something for coming in first. Right now anyone reading this that hasn't done the event don't waste your stuff on pre expedition

I'm sure there is more complaints but as of right now I'm pretty sure our state never wants to see it again and no it's not cause we are losing

I like new events to keep the game interesting, but this one needs work. It’s more a zeta than a beta.

Instructions - need to be clearer. It was left to us to interpret what we needed to do, and when you have 400 players counting on you, that is no fun.

Event length - 2 weeks max, it’s way to intensive for 4+ weeks long

Pre-event - there are no benefits for going hard at this, I wish I’d known this before using all the things in my bag.

Communication - when you have different languages / timezones etc allow us to become friends with the players in our faction so we can set up chats. Especially if the other state doesn’t have discord or when fraction chat bugs out for a day.

Sending mails - All officers should be able to send mail - an R5 can’t be on 24/7


Healing - why can’t we use normal healing packs? My HQ was zeroed, healing troops took forever. If you want us to attack - especially in the last few days, you need better healing. Nobody wants to lose 10% of troops for this.

Diamonds, speed ups & direct locates - was the intention for us to use all these up so we have to buy more?

Gold and Ore rss mills - what was the point for beta when they give out normal rss?


Don’t match us for Clash, WK and Valiant against teams not in Doomsday

Lairs - can be joined by any player in your state (or fraction) and add lair notifications

Party - add at the end so we can get diamonds, speed ups, direct locates and heals back - cos we bloody deserve it after being guinea pigs in that beta mess.

This event was a joke and waste of time. Faction I was in didn't get lv 6 or 7 foothold so we basically stopped. Rewards should have been based on the history of the faction not the final result

Only 2 aspects of the event that were nice, the lv 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 tiles to gather and running lairs with a little bit better chance of a frag. Used mini to back main for lv 43 lairs and got some frags regularly

Absolutely agree. The "big" faction in ours decided that they were taking our lvl 5 and 6 so they could get top rewards. This dropped us down to the bottom tier. This event was complete crap.

I got more rewards on my farm in another state that never really participated but the faction did well than on my main that participated and finished most of the personal quests but the faction was out muscled.

Our faction got the lvl 7 foothold and "won". It didn't feel like that at any point.... that lvl 7 was so excessively strong, that 12 free fuels seemed extremely ridicoulous..... our bigs lost so many troops that it wasn't possible to heal all without quite a few diamonds..... so many people lost a lot more or paid a lot more than they got in the end.
The small players couldn't join the event at all or when they've been big enough to join, they couldn't do much anymore once we reached lvl 6 or 7 and quite impossible for them to get enough coins for a descent reward, even when the faction was reaching the town hall reward.
Everything so totally imbalanced. Or maybe just another event for the high end players, who knows.

It seems there is a wording error and by accident it says 80% got automatically healed while its should have been said 90%. From calculations its 90% which got healed, so only the wording seems to be wrong

One I was in had 3 factions that basically had the whole map with other factions having only safe zone. After the town hall opened and we couldn't get to do anything with it since we didn't have lv 6 foothold a lot left for alliance events and didn't return. We were one of the 3 factions that held a good portion of the map throughout till the last few days

I think they should give everyone that participated in the Beta test for doomsday expedition the sanctuary skin and frame. They made enough off some of the big spenders constantly buying the gas needed and the war hounds bundles

The state we were paired with did not communicate well at all. Both states had a set of representatives for discussion. It didn't help. All the r5 would say " we will discuss and get back to you". It was days before any response. From day one, the state we were paired with had set a nap agreement so one of the other factions would win. They bare helped us fight for territories. All they wanted to do was sit back collect rss and rewards for doing nothing.

Not so simple hypothesis: They spent money on it and need to make a profit. Continuing to force it on us cause they can, and expect players to get used to it or continue to hope players will like it... who knows. 🤷🏻‍♀️ There hasn't really been much info on what improvements were made to the event based on player feedback to actually entice new players and to encourage experienced players to participate in the event.

My guess is even if turnout and spending isn’t great it makes more money than res tourney even tho the players prefer tourney

Cause idk if people are spending on healing through the state infirmary like in WC during res tourney that would be the only avenue they could make money in res tourney

Otherwise it’s just spending loads of diamonds on super rein and speeding up marches

I didn't hate the event. But there was a lot wrong with it. I loved the "potential" of it but am not sure I want to do it again unless they change a lot of mechanics. Just sayin.

I forwarded my notes to pns a few ways. My breakdown was healing seemed balance and was great for state interaction,BUT took way too much time and focus away from allliance and state. Free directs, no sonic in event only, and give states a might bracket to form a faction themselves to coordinate time-zones.

I'm going to check it out at start, but if changes from beta weren't made, 24 will not participate.

Not likely since the timeframe was part of the announcement. Doubtful that they'll reduce it. Plus they'll probably run with the same schedule as the beta test.

Alot of them are solid and do what they can. Just wished the higher ups listened to the ones in communication with the players. No game lasts forever and I've made true friendships from here in game and real life. No game server lasts forever unless it evolves or it wastes away. This is the first mobile game I've played. I was straight console before my wife hooked me on it.

There's alot of players and friends I've met over the years. PNS....best thing that came from doomsday was interaction. Game will thrive if that is the focus.

If people don’t participate in the event… then event won’t be as successful as they hope it will be.

It’s that easy.

We have all told them our thought on the event. If they want to ignore us then hey turn about fair play, we ignore the event.

I’ve got better things to do then spend 4 weeks killing myself on event times that are all over the board for mediocre prizes that aren’t worth my time or money.

IMO if a player is limiting their HQ so that they can be competitive in nuka then they really can't complain about being excluded from events, they've made that choice
