Possibly the best way to achieve this is to temporarily do your decay settings to something like 2-3 days. Just ensure everyone your wanting to keep their stuff is able to login for that time

my issue is still that i cant connect to my non-dedicated server that is on the same machine.
and i update through SteamCMD on Anonymous.

i have already done everything to make it impossible for port forwarding to be the issue

so, it cannot be that for preventing me from accessing my servers, since i am able to connect if its a Dedicated server

If your able to connect on your internal ip, this would not rule out port forwarding as you font use it internally. Only external connections

see, that one i would never know if i was connecting 'via internal ip address' as my only methods of connecting was through either the server browser or using Steam server lists on LAN.
and it was through the second method that i got the error message "unable to query port info for invite"

Beacon is a PC app for all servers, but you cannot use it on your Xbox itself. You would need a laptop or PC to download and use it.

I was messing with the summoned a wild Rex at my base after I tried several times. Then forgot it was wild till I ran and my turrets killed it after 30 seconds. Lol

If you're using Beacon, it's required to use expert mode.

not 100% on what you are asking but as for the setings up an xbox server yes you need to use the xbox app or the microsoft store app, and then go to the nitrado site and login to do your settings

Hoping someone can help, I've got a server with Nitrado and I'm trying to use admincheat gmsummon "RockDrake_Character_BP_C" 150 to summon a tamed Rock Drake onto Island. I have all the DLC and I know that the code works when I spawn in dinos native to island but anything from Ab or Ex won't spawn.

The server wipe (and shutdown) is for Ark Survival Evolved official servers only. It will happen on September 30th. Unofficials and singleplayer are not affected by the server shutdown.

There is not a patch coming for Ark Survival Evolved. There is a new game remaster releasing in late October called Ark Survival Ascended (or Ark 1.5 as some are calling it).

You can try linking a epic account to a steam account adding each other as friends and inviting him off your steam friend list, however i guess thats a bit complicated and if the command dosent work that likly wont work either

Timeout is generally due to trying to download mods while entering a server rather before entering

Some have luck just to keep trying. A premium dedicated server located half way between you guys may help. Or just even trying again tomorrow the internet may be better. It is odd they are lagging in a single player world. That would seem to point more twards a slow pc. Possibly low ram. If this is a new issue they may try seeing if their gpu has a driver update

Well first, what platform? You have to rent a 20 slot Nitrado server for access to any Microsoft store version server save or Playstation server save. Then, you can select which save from Nitrado's list.

If you are on Steam or Epic, you do not have to rent a server from Nitrado/Gportal.

quick question, i have the server official save on nitrado. i put a few mods (nothing too crazy, super structures, awesome spyglass, breedable fenrir, ark aditions, and dino storage the soul trap one) however every 2 days or so, stuff disappears. Like super structure stuff? every two days boom it goes poof. dinos in souls? every two days? boom poof as well. i have to keep backing up the server forcing updates etc. i have used this mods before on a normal server not a save one and never ever had this issues. i have come to the conclusion that i just need to play vanilla and remove all mods at this point but i wanted to know if anyone has had this issues? or a fix? or something before i do one last back up and remove the mods xd

Sorry to bother again but how do I figure out what the dino spawn entries for an area is like I want to spawn magacehlons in the water thst in the middle part of gen 2 the dino entire using bacon don't exaclty tell you where they are

best bet is to look up the spawn entries on the wiki and then compare the creatures to the area you want em in

but i have a question, is there a setting that messes with creatures aggro level? that will also override ignore group whistle? have a lot of the dinos in out base on ignore group whistle and passive but they will randomly switch to neutral or attacking target and ignore group turns off as well

Yes you can. There is a section to add exceptions but I'm not sure how you do that but it is definitely a feature. It also allows you to add mods and manage a server very easily.

Yea I would do that. Anytime I've made a change while it was live it never actually saved. Also I would recommend doing the KillWildDinos command before shutting it down then while it's offline make the changes because some of the dinos might bug out and keep the old settings. Once you save changes and boot it back online it may take a few minutes to auto respawn wild dinos

My friend added the mod, and he got an error. The world was lost as he couldn’t log in with the mod and when we went in without it everything was gone except for our levels and engrams. That was a lot of progress and I can’t believe I actually thought it would work. I got an auto save file from him but I put it in and now I’m getting an error. I will send the error tomorrow and hope that someone can help me fix it. The amount of sentimental value in that world is immeasurable

Every time I connect to a server from the "Non-official PC" list I am logged out after a few minutes (usually -5) with message " The connection was lost with the server".
This has been happening to me on all private servers for a few weeks and I didn't have this problem on official. Unfortunately they are gone and now I can't play at all. I tried: Reinstall the game / Restore the PS5 / Another PSN which has the game and can play without problem / Ethernet / wifi. I'm out of ideas

No I was on the pc browser at the time. All there was, was load file, download, and browse local file

After selecting load file it should open a editor where after making changes you can save

• Once again, stop your ARK game server.
• Click “Expert Setting” on the left-hand side in the “General” section. - Afterward, select the file you want to edit in the dropdown menu and then press “Load file”.

• After changes have been made, press “Save changes” and start your server.

the tether is on non-dedi. if you host a dedicated server then it won't have it but you won't be able to play at the same time. (unless you run it out of the game, then you can.)

if you are running both the game and a dedicated server it will require more then running a non-dedi.
there are some more connection things you'll need to setup like port-forwarding if you want to play with others.

Put this in your gameusersettings.ini, it will give you a max level of 150. It will not change how common the higher level spawns are, you will need a mod or to rewrite the spawns for that.

I play on single player. This morning i logged in and my settings were all reset. Server and Graphics and music. I think my entire single player profile was reset and i dont understand how or how to get it back. I played last night and logged off as i normally do nothing odd happened.
