What I do is place the straight wire near the middle of the foundation and as you step backwards place a receptacle to see where the last powered spot was. Then pick it up and place another wire down and so on. you will be able to hide them. before I rebuilt my base in Tek I placed all of the electrical first, then I built the rooms.

It's easier, imo, if they all do, but you can increase/decrease rates on any servers to whatever you want. I do recommend having almost the same mods though, just to be safe.

Like having Dino Storage v2 on both servers is needed to transfer soul balls and the like

the game should automatically make backups, Steamapps>common>ark>shootergamne>saved, make a backup of the Saved folder. Go into MapnameSavedArksLocal(Mapname will be whatever map is having the issue) Then delete mapname.ark, and rename one of the numbered mapname saves (the most recent one) to mapname.ark

Well then, after about 2 weeks of playing like this, I just launched my game and all of the sudden the problem appears to have fixed itself.

Either are fine, it doesn't really matter if they dont have mutations. You can use both at the same time if you want, more females means more attempts at getting a mutation.

So I downloaded the dlc maps, when I go to start a world on say scorched earth, it says I need to install the maps, I say ok. Then sends me to the playstore and says "this content cannot be loaded at the time"

Takes time for the new dinos to load, you gotta kill the weak ones and let new dinos spawn. Do you have the highest difficulty checkmark? That will make 180's spawn more often

Not on extinction they are not. Transfer your character to another single player world to tame them.

They are counted as cave creatures and are untamable..
Have you tried coaxing it out into a trap, leaving render, then flying back into render to tame? Sometimes it works on single player

Ok I’ll start a Element Node, kill the waves of corrupted creatures and then try harvesting it with a Doedic or Anky I was told that they used to be able to but we’re removed making Mantis with ascended pickaxes the best way to farm them but I haven’t actually tried to see if an Anky can actually harvest it

Try to lead them out into a trap made of door frames. Then de aggro it and try to tame it. May work but cant say. I never got them to tame for me there.

you can make a box with 2 walls and a door frame on one side. lead them into the box and when they're inside move up and place a wall behind them to close the box

then you can de aggro and feed them through the walls of a 1x1 box

you have to have at least a couple structures connected to each other, but it extends a fair distance, probably like 20 foundation lengths?

the bigger the connected structure the wider the area, but you'll still get spawns at the edge of your general render distance

if you're worried about things coming in a wall is all that's needed. build one 3 high and you won't get anything aggroing on you or your tames as long as it blocks LoS

even if it's a thatch wall nothing will aggro against passive structures

though it can be damaged if, say, a carno chases a parasaur right up against it

that's far quicker than me explaining

kibble lasts far longer than any meat, and cuts taming time and amount down by a lot which helps you get tames at 100% effectiveness or at least high 90s

kibble gives you 5x

and sometimes those extra couple levels make the difference

if you can get an egg farm going it makes taming anything that much easier, especially herbivores because they don't have a prime meat equivalent

Hello guys, I am having an issue in joining my own dedicated server and I was hoping to get some help here.
Let me try to summarize the issue:
Few months back I made a dedicated server using server manager to play with my friend, it used to work fine at the time.
But now when I try to play again, we are having a problem, and I seem to have found the cause (The S+ mod) but cant seem to find a solution-

I run the server manager on a laptop, and play ark in my pc ( both in the same wifi), after starting the server it shows up in steam's servers ( view- servers ), but doesnt show up inside the game no matter how many times I refresh.

I found the cause to be S+ mod, when I removed the mod in my server manager settings, and unsubbed from it in the workshop the server loaded up fine, (but we had almost all our structures using s+ so we need the mod),
When i tried redownloading S+ and restarting server, it gives connection time out issue, its simply not letting us use the S+ mod for some reason..

I have tried verifying ark cache, server manager verifying files, reinstalling mods, nothing works

try switching to the Nominal structures, its a S+ offshoot that should just transfer the structures over.
