I'm just having a quick read about beacon, it's saying that when it changes the ini files it adds its own header to make the changes '[Beacon]'. From that I'd check that it isn't accidentally duplicating an existing line in the settings

First, is it possible to implement something that allows cryopods to be crafted in our inventory. Second, how do I make it some more higher level Dino’s spawn on the map, currently only low levels are spawning and high lvls are really rare. Thanks 😀

are the high levels really rare or non-existent? On story maps good levels are always pretty rare

And the Dinostorage mod allows you to craft their dino balls in your inventory. I don't know of an easy setting you can change to make real cryopods in your inventory without a mod

import would bring settings to Beacon. You want to export from beacon

It's handy to paste them into a text editor as well and save them to your pc.

I'm playing on a single player fjordur map, and I'm messing around with forcetamed bosses and I've got a Beyla, and I noticed that it has a saddle option.
I noticed that steinbjorn can use a direbear saddle, as can the rubble bears, but I can for the life of me figure out what saddle can work on a Beyla. Everything I look up just has saddles for tames to fight beyla but nothing about being able to put a saddle on a beyla itself.
Any suggestions? I test things out on my single player before I take them to an unofficial server as an admin because overall it's something I just enjoy doing.
I'm playing on Xbox if this helps any, as I don't have my computer working anymore to use the steam client.

I'm having trouble with my dedicated server i host from home my gameusersettings.ini sometimes resets to default the only settings I'm struggling with now after a couple days trying to fix are the maxplayer count and changing engram points so they unlock at different lvls.

These settings reset to default as soon as the server successfully boots

not sure if its the right place to ask, but I played ARK a few years ago and had a mod that let me craft saddles for flyers to increase their speed. I am pretty sure its not "speed saddles", because for each saddle there were multiple tiers and i had to use refined hide to craft them. Dose anyone recognice the mod or one that is similar to the one i am describing? Much appriciated!

When the maps are made they are limited on size by the editor. Basically all the maps reach that limit. Some maps like fjordor have realms though which is just more map stacked on top of the main map

Need some help, my character on my unofficial server- seems to be corrupted. This started yesterday, I grabbed inventory off my tribemates body because he kept freezing and getting kicked from the server, once i grabbed all his inventory and switched to a different map, my game then started freezing and having me get kicked. my code has it set were the min level is 5 and max level is 150 for all stanard creatures, cave creatures have their normal levels, special creatures etc. Yes this now contains the infomation to all the maps not just the island. But if you add all this into expert mode, it will just edit your island map and when you move to ab then the ab code will kick in.

I have asked this before and didn't get much info on this. I have a cluster of 13 maps. I can only see 4 of those maps to transfer to. I can see all of the maps in my favorites and survivors. It's always the same 4 maps. I have another player who is stuck on one map and cannot see any other map now. I have been like this for 2 months I think. I have tried everything I could think of other than doing a character profile wipe. I have uninstalled the game the mods all of it. Nothing has helped. The biggest mod we have is the Omega mod if that helps at all. I cannot find anything about it online either. If anyone has some solutions it would be greatly appreciated.

If some people experience an issue, and others do not, it is likly a network issue for the one experiencing the problem. Sometimes a VPN can fix issues like this. Of your using nitrado as a host you can try changing your eu servers to us servers if thats the case

I need help figuring out the process of replacing dinos with other dinos. i didnt hvae a problem on other maps, but im struggling with fjordur overspawning a dino.
first, i replaced griffins with alpha raptors. then i started having like 100 alpha raptors in one small area!
so i left griffin disabled.
i replaced gachas with direbears. then same thing happened with direbears!
so i left gacha disabled. i went through and removed all the replace with codes to just disabled.
Then i seem to have a hard time getting rhino and yuty spawns.
so i went and replaced dinos with regular dinos like ankys, trikes, etc, or their regular variants like instead of r-direwolves, i replaced with regular wolves.
Now i have an overspawn of ankys, which i used to replace parasuars and andrews with.
What is going on? why are the spawns so weird? how do i fix it? Yes, i dino wiped manually each time i started the server back up.

You need to explicitly enable support for running non-whitelisted Windows-only games through Proton.

I guess you're just trying to launch the game from the Store page, otherwise you'd get a clear indicator about the game being Windows only.

Go to Settings > Steam Play > Enable Steam Play for all other titles

Steam should restart. Try hitting Play again. Big Success.

I have been trying to make a LAN game, Epic Games version, to no avail. I've spent most of the afternoon trying. thats not a direbear, there are 2 polar bears, one being dire polar bear and one just being polar bear.

the island polar variants are untamable while the ones for Rag/Val are.
