The best way I've found to play so far is to stay hidden. You can do a lot from a 1x1 pill box. But it always gets found in the end.

Usually my pill boxes live for a week. When I've tried to build a defended base, it takes a lot more effort and it gets wiped quicker.

Seen alot of people survive months like that on different maps

you can probably get away with a bit of breeding for a while somewhere on the bottom of the ocean, as most people are too lazy to scout the entirety of ci ocean

and even if they aren't too lazy, the changes of them doing it on the same server you're doing it on before they get tired of it are relatively slim

most people prefer to scout maps which are typically more profitable (abb, gen1 for ex.) to scouting crystal isles

but you do find the odd person looking for dupe stashes in the ocean anyway

but it's not enough space for serious mut breeding

this is why tribes normally use the crazy large caves on things like island / abb / whatever
depending on how many lines you want to mut breed you can get away with doing it in smaller spaces

idk but for normal pvp situation I never go above 350 hp

The formulas are a little confusing, but I think prim flak reduces gun damage by 50%. A 100% longneck does 280 damage, so a body shot will do 140. There's a headshot multiplier which seems to be around 2.5x. So a headshot does 350 damage.

Knockout = easy kits. I guess in a way it does get into a resource battle if you don’t get that knockout or kill the hawk. But honestly everyone doesn’t use hawks still, most do. But it’s easy feed especially for tames. I used to hate hawks but there’s definitely counters to them.

-farm ARB -> trade for FFA dinos / lines / high damage shotgun
-get high damage shotgun -> farm cactus broth -> run beta rockwell
-get high damage shotgun -> tame procoptodon + tusoteuthis (if you can get an FFA tuso, it will make this easier) -> run alpha center

And that'd only get you to like 115 level cap, but you'd have important tekgrams

Use the hawk. You can die and logout if you have a hawk up to 12 hours. It does drift while in stasis however so anything after 12 hours you'll be looking for the hawk a few renders away. After 24 hours all the stuff will despawn because its like the cloud.

Get a hawk/desmo. Place beds near essentials. Find a place to process materials. Farm materials and spawn back into your base using the hawk. If you have exo mek you can just pick up your base when you need to log off. I've done breeding and griefing on pvp official doing this. The only thing though is if your hawk dies. So I suggest organic poly to kill yourself before someone kills you. Then you can instantly respawn somewhere safe. If the hawk is killed or knocked you will lose everything.

Just knock the hawk out. The hawk goes into stasis when it disappears and hovers. But if you knock it the hawk will fall until it reaches 5000m down and get killed by the world barrier. It takes 2 shots with a tek bow for any hawk.
