if i had the experience with robotics i think it would be cool to build. robots based on arks animals like compys, dodo, lystro, baby raptors, parasaurs, trikes, argents. that would basicly act like pets. play fetch, chase laser pointers, etc. maybe make a good pet alternative for kids who cant have a actual cat or dog be it because of allergies or apartments.

have you ever seen D rex i think it be cool do something like that it had some pretty realistic skin and pretty autonomous with exceptions to the remote switching modes the only issue i would see with the realistic skin/rubber skin is it don't last i did design something for a robotic raptor which would have removable skin so it could be replaced but i am not shore one that.

i would use pneumatic pistons to simulate muscle. but i think it would go for something more like a synthetic muscle like electro-reactive materials that expand and contract when voltage is applied to make the movement more real. basically copying biological mechanisms to make something that is more like a real animal than some ordinary robot. maybe replicate the arks system for taking care of babies and adapt it for a robotic animal like it wants to go on a walk, wants a comfort food, or cuddles. maybe have the remote reflect the animals mood or what it wants as far as care. maybe can be used as a way to teach kids about taking care of a pet

Well, that’s not true anymore, this arc and story is present in the games as well

In the non-existent relationship HLN-A claims to have with the survivor and Rockwell suddenly showing humanity only at the very end of the game in one line instead of subtly through any of his lines in Gen 2

These arcs are not present in the game, they’re a fundamental part of what will occur in the animated series

Granted, most people didn’t care about that, but people like me noticed

I noticed that after collecting ever note HLN-A never once treats us as a friend in Gen 2 and instead acts more like our mom

I really hope the Animated Series doesn't just ruin characters. Specifically, I hope it won't make Rockwell out to be this entirely problematic character (i.e. creepy or something). While he isn't a good guy (not remotely close, he's manipulative and cold), Helena and Rockwell still regarded one another highly in the beginning of The Island, and she saw him as a helpful, kind gentleman and even grieved for him on Aberration. I hope that he's not made into this entirely hate-able creepy old man.

The canonical shady, weird, manipulative old man is already very good, just, please don't add extra bits onto him to make him even more dislikable. ||Especially when the ending of Gen2 actually had us feeling bad for him.||

My main fear is probably slapping blatant racism onto his character because "well, Victorian old man", but I have my doubts on that one as Helena is basically confirmed to now be a POC in her redesign. (also not every Victorian person was racist, and even then, if we wanted to apply historical context to his character, then he probably wouldn't have referred to the Bible so much in Genesis 2, as, y'know, a Victorian chemist would be pretty against religion).

Also, again, making him creepy towards Helena. I dunno, the fandom seems to latch onto this a lot, and it's just horribly out-of-character for him imo, and unnecessary to his development as an antagonist.

heros show humanity by refusing to kill the villian (typically) and villians show humanity as a part of remorse or redemption, even if only superficial before they die.
I prefer villians that own it, and dont waver from their convictions. not everyone is redeemable, some people are past the point of return, and that makes more entertaining shows etc for me
