The part I don't get is, the last (big) update we got on it was pretty cut and dry; they are still looking for a platform and that's pretty much that. Can't give a release date if they don't have a platform, and any filler content they give in the meantime is just going to get whined about like everything else they've been doing, so why bother? Why is everyone soooooooooo up in arms about a show? It'll release when it's ready. If it was a game, it'd be a little bit more understandable (and only just, then), but it's not. Just forget about it until they make the announcement and... do literally anything else. There's plenty of other media out there to consume, jogs to go on, football to play, etc.

Even in just a few hundred years or so, people are living quite a bit longer, so maybe 60 is the new 40. Though the survivors probably wouldn't realize for a while

Reason why stuff like The-Last-Of-Us has been well received, is due to both the good writing, and not changing a lot from the source-material.
When you change a lot from the source-material, you get a whole new experience.
This is a gamble, as it now purely relies on good writing, then being able to fall back on the established source-material.

The Mario-movie did well since the Mario IP barely has a plot or story. Mostly being simple plots confined within a single-game. So good writing was able to save it.
Though, then there's the issue of situations like the Halo-show, where there was already established lore, and a whole universe the writers could've used.
But they went out of their way to do their own thing, and that turned into a dumpster fire.

TAS looks good so far. But with the lack of even updates on it, who knows what it'll actually turn out to be like.

Idek why people are hating on the halo series. im a halo fan, enjoy the lore. im not a hardcore halo lore elitist, but it didn't seem like they changed a whole lot.
The show was well made, the plot line was nice, the graphic's were incredible, and it felt like the halo universe.

It also takes time for Elements corruption to kick in, and doesn't do shit in a solid state.
Guess-what? The element Rockwell was going for on Scorched was solid. So it had no effects.
Everything he did on there, from hating Helena for the dumbest reason, to poisoning a whole tribe after he just helped deliver a baby (which if I may add either means he killed the baby, or left them for dead without any guardians)
All of that was due to his obsession, but the Element had no effect on him since it was in a solid state.

It's true they announced too much too quickly, everyone here knows that. But it's the constant complaining that really doesn't help, I'd imagine. Another thing too, nagging them constantly for things out of their control, like finding a platform for the show; just don't/stop please. It helps nothing and will only harm if not delay the show, so why do it?
