its all just RNG. at least you can start mutating beforehand and then just breed them mutations to the better stats.

Hey guys. i was changing volumetric clouds with commands, and ever since i put frame gen from DLSS to FSR, the game crashed. When i rebooted it, i lost all options for frame gen or FSR. They simply do not appear in the menu anymore

Apparently my game is now locked to FSR frame gen, and it runs significantly worse

Keep your carcha light and run through the lava cave or pod drops killing tge higher level dinos. Usually 2 - 5 maps on a 13 wave purple drop if I empty his inventory every other wave

Most of my tribe are older gamers, and usuals are running series S. Sucks to throw away so many maps because I can't get them anymore. Had no problem with astraeos came out, a quick crash and load back In and dig up maps but now it's a crash loop till I drown and respawn.

I couldn’t get back in due to the queue and the fact that I’m on a Brazilian server. Your females need to be below 20 mutations to have a chance at a mutation. It is only a 3.5% chance with the male side over 20 mutations and since it is random when it comes it could happen in one egg, hundreds of eggs, or even thousands of eggs. More females = more chances

Having a problem on scorched Earth PS5 signal player. Please note this is only happening on scorched Earth all other maps this isn't happening. On scorched Earth say I'm by the green obelisk when I load into the game if I say go by the red one as example and place a foundation down save the game quite reload my save I'll be where I saved at but my foundation will be gone. Last week I got on ASA on Xbox to discover that the game randomly decided to uninstall over half of my mods (about 70-75).. So ive spent the majority of the past week re-downloading all of those mods, grabbing a few more, etc.. After the update today I only have 18 mods installed out of the 150+ mods that I had installed earlier today.. So much time wasted.. again.. I really, really hope that there's a fix for this? I love Ark but I'm getting ready to uninstall the game..

It will add an extra mute. If that baby is then bred with a 0 mute it'll only cost you one relevant mute. You can always wait for mute 2 then breed for the color combo and keep it to the side until you finish your stats and breed it in then

I’m not able to download the Astraeos map after purchasing it. I’ve been dealing with attempting to install the map and all other associated mods with it for a little over 10h now is there a different store link I use on Xbox for the map?

that is not really possible. the game needs to load things to, well, load. it already has a fixed pool for loading visual stuff and stops (you see muddy textures, ect) if it is full, but it cant just not load characters ect

And there is an a general area in the blue zone that just absolutely causes my game to freak out and stutter like mad crazy. It doesnt crash or freeze fully. Try running the custom dino level mod. I think it evens out level spawn rates so you should get more high level creatures.
There isn't a setting otherwise and that code is probably hardcoded.

What you could try, is to go into the game files [SteamLibrary > steamapps > common > ARK > ShooterGame > Saved > SavedArksLocal]. In the SavedArksLocal folder, you should see a bunch of files, 2 of which should be "TheIsland.ark", and "TheIsland_AntiCorruptionBackup.bak". Rename the anticorruption one to TheIsland.ark (The same as the other one), and then delete the original.

Doing this will reset your world back a bit, to an earlier save, if it got corrupted.

I think there is a setting inside the turrets which says something like ,,Shoot at Allied Creatures". If you find something like that you can hit the button which transfers the settings to close turrets. Default should be that they do not shoot allies.

You can make another tribe with a second character, ally to that tribe, and place turrets in that blue tagged tribe at your base. That way, you can still be allied to the other people, but if they try to backstab, they will be shot by the turrets in your second tribe

Hey bobs got a prob, i have 4 pairs of gachas at my base and 1 pair produces around 3x as many crystals as the other pairs. they all have 4 owls to each gacha and are not sad. they all have aroun 150% crafting. the only difference i can find is that the high producing pair is 8 foundations away and the others are 7. does the one extra foundation really make that big of a difference? Any help would be appreciated!!

i found 4 to not be enough, so i would check if they have pellets in them, and get the buff swirlies.
i think 161 is the crafting skill to aim for.
i would check the pellets first, and then test with a change in foundations

also, i am not sure if there is a speed diference on crystal making depending on the resource, i think there might be, so check if they make the same number of crystals after all the food is eaten

Hello there dear community, I have a problem with Ark ascended and I have no clue how to fix it or what even the problem could be.

I installed Ark for steam on PC and it was running more or less fine (except the typical crashes) for 34 hours. Then after a character transfer the game crashed every time I loaded into the server. This was fixed by me being killed and respawned. Now every time I log in I lose connection after 20-30 seconds and get the message „Connection to the server has been lost/ expired“ (translated from German)

I reinstalled the game already and which didn’t help. Internet connection is working fine as I’m able to play on PlayStation. I tried a few other things I found on the internet but nothing was helpful.

Hopefully here someone knows what to do 😢

R7 2700X? that is going to kneecap your performance pretty severely, especially if singleplayer. and likely very slow memory to be compatible with it

may be worth sticking in even a cheap non-APU Zen3 R5, it will be way faster

Just go to the area that’s not respawning metal, and use the repair area command

Only enforcement is active, you should report them for building on a spawn, but you can try popcorning your stuff out a window for a tribemate and respawning

Never Bothered with weapons before in this game besides the pump action sg and the long neck rifle are the other weapons any good? Hi, a few months ago I couldn't use any mods (neither premium nor free).
Also the chibi was no longer visible in the inventory. This affected all characters in this account.

This was very annoying because I could not equip my chibi and therefore the server transfer became very tedious because the chibi could only be dropped but not moved to another inventory. Not to mention that I couldn't skin it.

The whole thing was solved with an update and all mods and the Chibbi were visible again on both platforms.

Today I did the Manticore Ascension on SE and after successfully completing it, no skins and chibbies are visible again

Hey all, I tried searching the channel for an answer, but does anyone else have an issue, when they lift their mouse to center it on their mousepad, that the cursor flies to the corner of the screen when in a menu, and if youre out of the menu, it makes your character spin like crazy until you place the mouse back down? it only happens when ark is running and i cant fingure it out

should see them glowing beams i know some players have graphics setttings that dont show the beams or issues with beams not showing and location depends, on our server we have random drop locations we dont like them being static or spawn in same spot everytime makes hunting for drops more fun so would depend if you have random drops or drops that spawn in same locations. but either way youll find them all over the place just look for glowing colors of drops blue,red,green etc

Im on the latest Version and I have 4090. In the games Video Settings. With an Nvdia Card you have the Frame Generation setting. You can choose between fsr and Dlss. Apparently on Amd cards FSR frame gen is enabled Automatically
