Depends on what you’re doing.

The prim shotgun has higher immediate DPS; if you can kill something in 2 shots it’s better to use the prim shotgun. If you need to shoot it more than twice, or engage multiple targets, it’s better to use the pump shotty.

In general the pump shotty is always going to be better. It has better accuracy, sustained damage, and a shorter reload.

I was having a lot of inventory issues on my server, it was due to one of my mods. I had to unsintall and reinstall most of my mods to fix it.

That said, I’d recommend uninstalling mods one by one until the issue stops, that’ll tell you which mod is causing the issue. Do you use any stack size mods? I would recommend starting with uninstalling those first, they have a tendency to cause inventory issues.

Its like armor, if you spawn the armor, it will be a default value. But, if you find an ascendant blueprint for a flak helmet, it can have a much higher quality. The mek works the same. Or enforcers, for example, you can get a 140 enforcer bp that has more meele than health, but get another of the same level that has more health than meele.

Also, I believe server/game settings can influence the damage dealt.

Ramps rarely work any more because of the tracking they just walk around same as dino gates I trap everything with four behemoth gates now. I put 4 gates down in a square and leave the last actual gate in my hotbar lead the dino in and place the last gate messy but it works I then build a platform I can shoot from 😆 alpha bob style

that way you can uninstall mods one by one until you see which one might be causing it

Is there a way to make shadows appear better on console? There's nothing in settings so didn't know if there were any commands that help. Not remove them. My issue is the staggering. There is a new bug. When flying and having an Armadoggo summoned as a companion, it appears mid-air under the flyer during flight. Tried it. My character doesn't show up even of they roll back they server, player data, and world files back 5 or 6 hours before the incident occured.

I’ve found you can upload items and download them with different characters on singleplayer so I don’t really transfer the character incase it gets deleted.

what mating interval is recommended for a singleplayer session? singleplayer settings doesn't seem to change it, hard mode on ascended puts it at 0.5 but that's still quite ridiculous for singleplayer sessions which don't age while you're not playing

I play on singleplayer hard mode on ascended with no other changes (besides resource respawn interval because singleplayer is bugged) so my rates are quite low, would 0.05 mating interval be too op (roughly like 18 minute cooldown for low level yutys, since 0.5 put them on 3+ hours)

When I played ASE it was at the point it wasn’t too bad and later in the games life but since ASA came out it’s been ridiculous. Players policing the servers like scumbags thinking they’re doing a good thing when in reality they’re just blocking people from enjoying the server. The devs need to do something and add no build zones like Gen 1 had for important spawns like penguins etc. they do it with drops this would be no different.

VSYNC can help get rid of screen tearing, FSR is AMD's upscaler (renders an image below native then upscales it to native) "FRGEN" is a part of FSR which takes 2 past frames and puts one "fake" frame in between which essentially doubles "performance" (there is some nuance to this though) i do not know what "OM" or "SPCT" is or if its even a thing

consoles already have FSR FG (which is one of the proper names for "FRGEN") enabled by default

• game is installed on a hard drive or otherwise very slow storage. dont do that.
• too many mods, or bugs related to loading mods. try to pre-install (or re-install) them

Best advice I was given is to never tolerate a flat surface. Got a box house? Extend the roof both forward and down (you may need to give your home another full story or half story). Make a balcony. Make a rooftop sitting area. Make a patio with a sitting area and lights. Lots of stuff, just try to avoid being a flat box or circle
