Can take up to 30 mins or more to respawn fully and settle out, singleplayer requires areas to be rendered in and can't just use a launch option for preventhibernation like steam, but you can use a mod to get around it

Im on PC GamePass version. I receive an inventory refreshing box when attempting to access my inventory. If I respawn (cannot via implant since the inventory refresh resets timer) I can access inventory normally for a short period but cannot interact with drops or obs or transmitters without getting the same refresh. Babies have a tendency to starve when low food and rendering/derendering them. Someone might be flying around in your bases area while you are offline.

Best thing you can do is either grow them up while you're online or also put food in their inventory and hope for the best

This is a common bug, respawn your character through bed or death and it should work as intended atleast for a while

Hello folks. I have a new player trying to join my server. He has a beast of a PC but is encountering memory issues. Causing him to crash on start-up. I have about 20 mods on the Astaeos server (most pretty small). I play with two other people. The three of us have no issues with joining the game. my guess is you are suffering from the full/almost full inventory bug, check your cosmetics tab for items, that might limit how many slots you have, and the ususal solutions posted here to fix it too

I need help understanding the tinkering bench, I understand the ods and the avarage of the two buttons. Im struggling to understand how to calculate the average if I want a longneck BP and use 2 good Flak Armor BPs, does the "Armor" number correlate 1:1 with the damage number that's on the bad longneck bp when calucating the avarage, say i have two 1200 armor BPs, and a 100 damage longneck rifle bp. The average would be 833, will I get 833 damage on my longneck rifle bp IF it hits and i get a bang on avarage bp?

(found out my previous bug) but my mainproblem stays... other players on my cluster (self hosted) cant join the Aberration server anymore... I can join the server without any problems.. Both saves are glitched to some degree. My Island save doesnt have my main character so I had to make a new one...the bases I had are gone, but the tames still there. But since I had to make a new character they are as good as wild ones

One thing to note all modded items and structures are gone in my inventory and base.

it is not a backup, and you also intentionally broke it, so..

if your save becomes corrupted, it just syncs the corrupted data

probably would have been fine if you were not using cloud sync at all, but you should still have a backup

well no i didnt intentionally break it. the sync error had something to do with the last time I played. and that was before I formatted my SSD. It wouldn't have been able to sync either way.

Open your inventory, go to the cosmetics tab, on the right side click on the create cosmetic tab and look in the lower section. Drag the skin you want from the right side to the illuminated symbol on the left side. Then you have to switch back to the left tab on the right side and you can use your skin.

Ok cosmetics was better the way it was before. It was similar and much more visually pleasing as well as intuitive. Also it's inaccurate on what's unlocked. It also has a annoying habit on Xbox if not letting scrolling down without popping back.

Also ARK Disconnect is getting so bad I'm playing path of Titans, Sims 4, Minecraft, etc etc. It seems to happen a lot around others bases. But also ab has a gives over spawn of creatures, stegos and Trikes are not aberrant, and maybe it has to do with all the light particles? I didn't know because it's the same on the center and other maps. Just slightly less DC. I have a series S.

A few days ago I was playing on Island and I think I switched to Aberration and then a day or so later an ally sent me a picture of my character lying somewhere on the map but I was sure my character had to be on Aberration. I tried to join Island and then the game asked me if I wanted to create a new character, which meant my character was actually on another server. When I transferred back from Aberration to Island, I couldn't find my inventory.

No it shouldn't cause the server any problems but I don't recommend leading off the cliffs. There us only one cliff I know of in the hall of the reaper queens where they actually despawn. The others, especially leading into the element water, don't despawn them. They stay there blocking the spawns. We can always tell when people have been doing this when we run reapers because the spawn rate slows right down. Better to just kill them

Well ark is officially f big time. As you all know. We spens weeks if not months to breed dino's for stats and colors. owner is above admin, the owned is in the governance (I think) section of the tribe menu. it pretty much means nothing unless you change the other settings to only be able to use yours (I think?, its also for if you leave I believe but better to just use cryopods)

your survivor is included in the "saveworld" command.

if that doesn't work then something is stopping ark from saving or its deleting the save for some reason.
any mods? check how much space the drive that ark is on has. is ark crashing when you exit?

right click ark on steam, manage, local files, ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config then move them all into a folder on your desktop (to move them back incase its not the issue)

sometimes mods add junk to the config files that doesn't get removed when they are removed.

Summer Bash, Fear Ascended, Cliffan's Backpacks, MarniiModsHairstyles, Gigaraptor, Cyrus' Critters:MagnaGecko, Paelo Ark- Evo and Club Ark are the only mods I have on as well. I don't think any of those are influncing giga spawns to go crazy but I could be wrong..

those are not big and should not slow down loading. you can convert dinos from them to the core game versions via a menu option on the dino

it has nothing to do with your network, in any case i have seen. should be loading quickly.. a reinstall will do absolutely nothing unless you have some really strange drive issues

there should be TheIsland.ark; this is the map savefile, and at least one TheIsland_<something>.bak, may be dated, or "Anticorruption" (most recent save). those are backups of the map savefile. replace TheIsland.ark with one of them to roll back the save. there are similar files for the player profile (.arkprofile and .profilebak) and tribe data (.arktribe and .tribebak) that you should usually roll back as well

make a copy of the whole folder before messing with it, if you are not familiar

you look at your memory use in task manager or resource monitor. you probably have 16GB, if this is an issue. if your physical memory is going over about 90%, everything slows to a crawl

Dinos in dino balls are little under 400 I have vault that is almost full and storage box with maybe like 30 then I have 4 male equis breeding with 20 females each. 2 male ankys breeding with I think 10-15 ankys each and 2 doedics breeding with 8 females each
