Not sure if someone explained this to you so here I go……. I tamed a 150 Rex (1), then I tamed a 120 Rex (2), both have diff stats Rex 1 has good hp, Rex 2 has good md
So I want to breed these 2 until the best stats from both a and b are in a baby ( I like to just swap the baby with one of the parents until I get a second with opposite sex) keep in mind they can mutate if this happens disregard that baby
Now I have a male and female both exact same level and stats, I like to name the male base male and base female, then breed these and keep all females until you have at least 6 (really depends on breeding speed of your server)
Now you have a bunch of Dino’s ready to breed so start
Keep on eye out for any egg 1-3 points or more higher then you base male
Once you get the mutation you want hp/md, raise that baby - when it’s raise d if it’s a male remove base male and replace with your mutated Dino- if it’s female you need to breed your base male with it until you get a male with the Mutaion carried over then breed that with your army of females

Then you keep rinse and repeat
Hopefully you understand if not it’s a good learning curve 😁

if you are only using dino depot it shouldn't crash unless something is wrong with your save.

if you have gamepass ult, you can potentially try xcloud. may be able to run it and fix your issue. but chances are its something in the world thats causing it. unless an update fixes it (which is also possible) it would require a reset.

On console I think you have to use the directional pad to move the slider, on PC it might be the left and right arrows keys.

It happens a lot. Tag team material gathering seems to be a workaround. The person on the gathering tame essentially has to open the inventory first to prevent the bug (opening AND dismounting seems to work quite well).

I dont know if anyone else is having this issue, I have a cluster with each map that I run, every single map is fine except aberration.

This is where my main base is (which has alot of turrets / tesla coils around it. Whenever my character wakes up in my base I get timed out from the server.

This can be bypassed by having a team mate kill me but whenever I choose to go back to my base, I get timed out when I load in. Im not sure if maybe I have too many turrets? (250) or maybe the new tesla coils are causing an issue (16 of them). I have 2 other tribe mates and ONE of them has the same issue but the other does not.

Also sometimes I get "Reliable buffer overflow" error but 8/10 times it just says connection lost to host

Can confirm terrain is sorta fixed. Doesn’t seem to be flashing in and out of existence. But foundations and structures no longer get rid of grass and poke through your foundation. At least on my end they do.

Hey I was actually able to fix it! It turns out that every time I spawned in, no matter what map or server, the inventory was always set to the “consumables” tab, which is why I couldn’t find stuff. I realized it and turned it off and everything is fixed 💀

Did you get disconnected/log out while you were in admin, gcm or fly? If so that’s most likely the cause of the glitchy walk. Do cheat walk and that should fix it.

You can ajust the dino level with the OverrideOfficialDifficulty= setting in the Gameusersettings.ini make sure the number matches the general settings tab as well cause the general sometimes overrides the ini. Make sure to do a dino wipe after you log in and you should see higher dinos. Offical maps have lower chance of spawning high dinos.

in contrast the series S, PS5, and any non-shit PC of the last decade are 16GB (32GB+ for a modern gaming PC)

Does anyone have an idea why SIR-5rM8 keeps turning in circles? I have it in butler mode. It's supposed to harvest crop plots and bring them to the fridge. There's fertilizer in the vault, which it's also supposed to distribute. It all works... 1x - then it turns in circles. The fertilizer is full - it's clear that it has nothing to do there, but it could harvest - fridges are empty, beds are full...

It can't be wrong settings, because it does its job exactly once - then it turns in circles. The crop plots are next to each other and have a corridor that is one foundation wide

Every time I try to play Ark Ascended on my Xbox Series X while in a discord call on the console it completely breaks everything. The audio in the call, game and system gets laggy and robotic. I got a question about the transfer all button on ps5 ASA. Back in ASE you would hit L1 and it would transfer every item from a creature's inventory or storage to yours, but in ASA every time I hit L1 it transfers all of MY items into the storage or creature first, and will only transfer it all to my inventory if I hit the button twice. usually happens on pc with two disk drives, its using the slow drive to stage files then transfer back to the main drive, the game needs double its size on the disk its installed too due to the way steam handles the update

it is a pretty rare problem. and generally by waiting for lower load levels. or not having hideous server performance. it is a side effect of UE5's wonky netcode "optimization" as far as i can tell

Lil something for offline singleplayers on xbox, if you own Bob's tall tales and everything is say you need to buy it again this is a bug. Something in the code turns off access the dlc when you turn off your console. Please report this if have experience that have a video proof so wildcard can possibly fix it

your system has two drives id bet, its a steam thing its patching the file on the other drive, if you check the disk activity , it is actually doing its thing, just steam isnt showing properly

if you wait it eventually installs, it needs the size of the game an bit spare on the install drive to do the patch or it uses the other drive

Does anyone know why ascended will not read all of my INI files? It ignores parts of mod INIs (like Custom Dino Levels bee setting, it wont spawn them at max no matter what I have it as) & my evolved ConfigAddNPCSpawnEntriesContainer INIs won't work at all despite being the same between the two games (may have been changed but I've seen nothing about that) , DestroyTamesOverLevel doesn't work at all & It's keeping my locked to spawning in dinos 1531 or lower which is frustrating. Running into an issue on PS5 aberration, unofficial server. Get an intermittent issue where my inputs to the game seem to just bug out. I.e. my joysticks will make me jerkily stare at the sky, or walk somewhere I wasn't going. Certain inputs do other things: i.e. Jump button might work, or it might attack instead
