Im sure someones asked this already. but im currently playing on pc using the xbox app and gamepass. ive been playing on a server for a week now and suddenly last night im able to see the server in the list. when i type in the search for the server, 0/11 servers pop up. empty list. so i uninstalled and reinstalled. NOW ZERO official servers are popping up and only 330 unofficial servers showing. my issue somehow got worse after reinstall. does anyone know whats going on or how i could fix this?

I play on mobile and I enjoy it, but I feel like I'm missing on some stuff. However, idk if getting ASE for ps4 (since ASA isn't available for ps4) is worth it in terms of new stuff (compared to mobile) or if there's performance issues

There is a lot different when comparing ARK Mobile to ASE on console.
I don't have PS, but whenever I played ASE on my Xbox One I loved it! There is a much greater learning curve, but I personally enjoy ASE after moving to my NS

There isn't any quests or direct guidance in ASE, so you kinda have to figure everything out for yourself . . . but after playing ARK Mobile for a good long while before going back to ASE it wasn't at all difficult. You're just given more freedom and there's a lot less hand-holding

your character will be tied to your steam id now, you won't have acess to your windows store / xbox character unless you play that version of the game, but no your steam version should launch and play just fine. make sure you're logged in to your steam account wthin the steam client and you have battleeye running, you should be good

I got ASE yesterday and b4 this I used to play on mobile. I went to yt to check for game settings, since there were so many options when starting a map, and ended up watching a video made by pterafier. In the video he said that most ppl use 3x xp multiplier, 2x taming speed and a lot of other multipliers to put on higher values than 1. Is this what a normal and slightly challenged (but not too much) is? I feel like it was too much since in 5 minutes I got to lvl 72 and basically unlocked everything that took me 70 in-game days on mobile (and like a week or 2 irl)

an unstable connection can break some less well-designed downloads. most services that do large downloads will automatically resume and error-correct.. curseforge may not, they seem rather terrible overall

Every update has cause some sort of issue, wether it be a major crash after and a big rollback. to the last update we were having small crashes every hour with 5 minute rollbacks each time....

key difference there. anyone can install the server software on anything they want for noncommercial use

I really don't understand this game sometimes. I had 2 Juvenile Pyros out, 3 or 4 juvenile frogs out. All eating just fine from the trough. DLSS is broken in the latest nvidia drivers, causing that resolution flickering and stretched edges, install the may 9th or older game ready driver from the nvidia website

also framegen makes the game look demon-haunted unless you are getting well over 60 real fps to begin with

probably turning off dlss as well? framegen is usually a 70-80% boost to fps, it lowers your real fps a little in most cases and adds some funkiness
