Anyone know of a good metal farming Quetz Platform build? I'm solo and it's annoying to use the Argy or Rhyniognatha with an anky to farm metal. There was a good platform build back in ASE that allowed me to just hop off Quetz and onto Anky, hit metal, then jump back on Quetz and onto the next one.

I believe it was the ramp style build but it seems to be glitchy and anky keeps falling off

though for your second point, i believe that ghost will still remain as long as you have more of that same structure in your inventory. to get rid of the ghost, either go in your inventory and click rt on xbox or left click on pc on the structure regardless of where it is in the inventory or when the ghost is applied, just click b on xbox to get rid of it when your inventory is closed (not sure what button on pc)

PVE, single player, and I want a difficult but rewarding experience.

I'm on my Andrew, and it's level 210, when I put 4 points into meelee, I go from 213 damage to ...659 damage. Why did leveling up make this damage insane?? I don't want to have extremely strong creatures that wreck everything unless I earned it and spent sessions leveling it up .

In answer to your question, yes they will eventually combine and no you do not "NEED" any mods although they do make stat tracking easier. But they are not needed to combine stats it will eventually happen you are just being unlucky.

I'm trying to start a single player game (PC, via Steam), but everytime I select the "Create or resume game" option in the menu, the game just crashes to the desktop without an error message. Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix it? I tried to verify files via Steam, and it didn't detect any issues. I didn't play the game for more than a month due to the computer problems (ASA and other games crashed instantly when launching them), but I used to play an an unofficial server for around 400 hours and before that I played in single player for approximately 50-100 hours. I tested now that I was able to successfully join some random server, create a character and play there for a while. I've reinstalled ASA back in the days when I originally tried to pinpoint the issue with the games crashing, if that matters

you have to use a 150 bug to have the best chances, using a low lvl bug no matter how many times will never get even 40 of those 60 points of health....even a 150 one will only get like 55-57 of those points

Watch those cliffs, some anti meshing instakill fields stick out of the bottoms lost a dino and multiple times myself/inv.

Idk how well known this is but I'm just finding out haha, I just wanted to get my stuff back

im playing ASE and on PC, for some reason im not getting any sounds effects in the game. all I hear is the ambient noise. all my drivers are up to date, ive already checked my sound settings. i’m not sure what else could be the problem. the first time I played it was fine, yesterday I played and towards the end the sound effects stopped. Im trying to play again today and still nothing. im in a non dedicated server, it works in single player. but not non dedicated. makes no sense

ive never used a recipe for jerky, its just passive thing when you have enough stuff...it takes a few hours to get 1 jery....can you hover over the prime meat there should be a countdown

im asa, i havent done jerky in a while but there was definitely a countdown on the cooked meat and i had enough sparkpowder in it for 10 days of fuel

Just keeping this here so other folks can find this that also has problems:

I’ve been having random DXGI crashes, Out of video memory errors, crashes on startup, FPS dropping randomly, etc. since LAUNCH on PC. I’ve tried every single solution I’ve seen on Reddit and even Steam forums that did not work but finally found one method that I must’ve overlooked.

Search up ‘disk cleanup’ on Windows search bar, pick your main hard drive, then when it does it’s scanning, a window should pop up. Tick “Direct X Shader Cache” and wipe it out. Even my FPS improved. Hope this helps!

Asa issues with hdr on PlayStation… obilisks don’t light up clouds, snow doesn’t appear on structures or plants. Is it just a lack of care to ps5 players like this is ridiculous

Hi everyone,

I'm playing ASA on a single player map and I'm having trouble increasing the number of dinosaurs that spawn. I've adjusted the "Max Count" setting, but there are still very few dinos around. I've searched online for solutions but haven't found anything yet. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

Hey all.
Anyone know how to prevent resources spawning back through structures on mod maps.
Specifically dwarven, but apparently happens on other mod maps also. Nekatus says its an ASA bug that wildcard need to fix, but I'm hoping someone's found a workaround.

G'day, I believe I have found all notes on the Island (ASA), however my armband is still bright yellow and steam has not given me the 100% achievement. I have got the dossier achievement though. The only odd one showing in my dossier is the pachy one which still has a fadded lock symbol on it behind the picture. I have gone back to the pachy and walked all over it but the lock still appears. I wanted to get achievement done before Scorched launched and not sure why its not giving me the achievement?

I have recently started playing the ark survivor evolved once again, but regardless of which world i choice, i encounter the same issue. I play and create a lot of progress with my son, we play as two players. The. I exit to the main menu when finished. The progress saves, but it always makes us both create a new survivor and we end up starting from level 1. We can also find the survivor we created with our progress just sleeping next to our dinos. We have also tried choosing “spawn at random location”, but it takes us in an infinite loop of doing it over and over again. Only way to play is to create a new survivor. Please help. How do we fix this issue so we can keep using our current survivors?
