Yes, and cooking recipes made with that skill level retain their skill effect even when someone, like yourself, with a lower crafting skill cooks them later. For best effect in creating a recipe or crafting a BP item, be max level.

yes. but i found it to be not as effective as just carrying it to where you want it and riding the thing.

in my experience, the casteroides was reluctant to chop down trees when carried. The doedicurus and Anky are much more effective in this respect with stone and metal.

I just got ASA on PS5. I played it perfectly fine until I got back in the next day and I had 95 available levels and 2 mods activated. It turns out that my brother had changed the settings on his account and they transferred over to my world. I changed the settings back, and they changed on his account too. We're both playing single player on different worlds and accounts, but the same console. I saw other people online with the same problem, but no solution.

On genesis 2, farming element in the space biome, whats best/most efficient way to mine? I use tek punch for a while since best element rates, but its too slow, im currently using a 700% metal pik, but hate having to constantly go back snd forth with my skiff, is there a recommended dino that may have higher rates or carrying capacity that would help more viable than just mining on my own? Tek stryder is currently out of question because missions are a mf

Also, i should add, is mining drill better than a pik axe if i have high melee?

Tek stryder by far is the quickest but if u wanna use dino I would go with rock golem or x-golem , if u using a picaxe use a mantis with good melee with high picaxe

There's also r.volumetriccloud 0, and r.volumetricfog 0 - but I use those sparingly because clouds are pretty and so is fog. That fog command also turns off ocean fog which is kinda cheaty and I don't like it.

i started using this, rather than entering all manually i just add the mod to a single player world and load in, then quit to menu and go into my normal server and the commands carry over as long as i dont completely quit the game.

Boosts to 60fps but doesn't stop my crashes so unsure if it actually helps 😂😂

Yesterday i started using the mod "A Simple Performance Mod" and it auto loads a bunch of console commands in but including the clouds, fog and vsync and while this mod boosts me to 60fps the majority of the time, i still crash to no end. my crashes aren't consistent with frame drops though

Update on this: Nekatus has confirmed that his mods and other mods were broke by the new update and now causes crashes. Wildcard has told modders to fix the problem themselves, even though modders don’t have access to the new dev kit update…

Might be worth figuring out which mods were affected and disabling them for a few days.

No specific plans as of yet, and probably won’t be any until like a week before release. Usually transfers are completely closed for the first few weeks, followed by character transfer then full transfer. Also, wouldn’t expect the centre anytime soon.

i just setup a ASE server everything is up and running with MODs but for some reason any modded structure item apart of a MOD will not place. I get the green prebuild but it wont place. I am running SStructure, Assesories+, Primal and only Vanilla structures are allowed to be placed. I have run the CMD command to update and validate several times and I have tested the mods in single player with no issued. just chucked out 10 dino's from fridges (no levels put in) and all have 59 levels to put in - so im guessing there is some sort of cap on levels from fridges...
just checked one of my breeders and i beleive you can level up 88 times only
max of 450 until genesis comes out and x dinos can level up to 500 max

so there must be a setting to allow you to keep putting levels in on unofficials

and ive seen level like 4000 dinos on unofficials so i know you can level higher

I have an interesting problem with transfers.

I set up our two maps to be like they were on our ASE cluster. That's PvE which has downloads for items/tames disabled and PvP which has enabled uploads/downloads for everything.

I double checked my settings and only items and tame downloads are disabled on PvE.

I transferred into PvP just fine as expected. I brought a single bola to make sure I didn't get blocked with an item. When transferring back to PvE however, I verified 10 times over my inventory is completely empty, but I'm getting blocked. The error says to the effect of "the server you're attempting to go has item downloads disabled, drop your inventory and try again." My inventory is empty. I tried rolling out my implant. I tried fast traveling. I guaranteed my inventory is absolutely 100% empty. Still can't transfer. Still getting the same error.

Tried both transmitters and an ob. Can't get back to PvE.

I'm not entirely sure why you'd need to use the IP anyway, you can search the name and it should pull up much easier.
