The only thing with beacon is that you can only do basic stuffs in order to do like loot drops or a fibercraft server you'll have to buy Omni beacon its like 14 o 15 dollars once you get that you can do more things with your server. then it is easier with Nitrado beacon was made for Nitrado but if you do G-portal then you'll have to copy and paste your config files Gameusersettings.ini and Game.ini to beacon

hi, the reason is because mutations will stack making it significantly harder to not only track mutations but to get them since youll reach the 20/20 limit just faster (keep in mind its not a limit, but it reduced mutations by 50%), youll see if you ever breed colors together that by the end of it your dinos will have 200 or more mutations even though they really dont

I just ventured into the ocean for the first time to tame a Dunkleosteus but couldn't because of like 5 or so electrophorus, 2 plesiosaurs and a level 18 alpha megalodon. I have no experience with the ocean but I have a sort of decent Sarco that was able to outrun pretty much all these creatures. I tried to agro the Dunkleosteus but it didn't pursue me too far. I hit it with my sarco and then it just ran off deeper towards the 2 plesiosaurs. Got any tips for dealing with this problem? Particularly the electrophorus. I have no idea how I'm supposed to deal with them.

You should jump off your Sarco and shoot it with your tranq, I believe when you jump back on it will still be aggro on you and you can lead it like that. My normal progress route for ocean is Baryonyx to Basilo and then everything else. Jellies and eels cant mess with a Basilo and Baryonyx has its alt attack tail swipe that can stun most things but you still need to watch out for jellies and eels until you have the Basilo. Baryonyx also doesnt float to top of ocean when you dismount so that might be an issue with Sarco too, dont know much about Sarcos

I can't get my hands on a basilo yet because I haven't tamed any dinos for exceptional kibble. I think I'm gonna try taming a baryonyx to clear the area of any megs and then tame one of the plesiosaurs as well and kill the other one with it. I just read the wiki page for electrophorus and it seems they just need to be shot with ranged weapons to get rid of them. I'll just do that, unless you have any other tips specifically for the eels?

You can tame it with prime, lamb or there cooked variants too. Takes a bit longer but worth it. You also dont need a super high level one to start. If you are on Fjordur there are a lot of Dunkees and other creatures that get stuck around the shallows of the swamp area, easy tames from the beach. Just watch out for literally everything else in the swamp

I've been trying this, step by step, but no success. When I open a host/local game and select the same map from the download it takes me to the character creation screen rather than opening up the saved game with the character I had on the official server. I was playing on NA PVE Lost Island 1040. I downloaded the save for this server, copied it into the correct folder, unzipped it, had the correct launch options script in on steam. But it will not open the save. Just a new game for lost island. Kind of defeats the purpose of downloading a save.

I assume you are using expert mode. If there are no ini files, go back to your general settings, disable expert mode, save, start the server and let it run at least 5 minutes. Then you can stop the server, enable expert mode, then check to make sure you have ini's.

Every time I connect to a server from the "unofficial PC" list I am logged out after a few minutes (usually -5) with message " The connection was lost with the server".
This has been happening to me on all private servers for a few weeks and I didn't have this problem on official. Unfortunately they are gone and now I can't play at all. I tried: Reinstall the game / Restore the PS5 / Another PSN which has the game and can play without problem / Ethernet / wifi. I'm out of ideas please help

Do you use cheats to get the server to upload? Or are you supposed to be on the downloaded server and then use the cheats to claim what you need to? When I open Lost Island, it is not the downloaded server, it's just the map itself, fresh and new, there is nothing to claim.

Yeah it should just go in your savedarks folder. If there was already a file there and you overwrote it may of had errors depending. I would remove the file fully then add the one your trying to use

So that's the weird part. I've played an offline game in lost island before. I never changed the file location or anything but I didn't have a lost island save in any folder anywhere. The server file I downloaded didn't overwrite anything because there was noting there. I couldn't even access my offline game anymore. So no offline game save and the new save doesn't work

Eh. In that case it sounds like your ark save filepath isnt ... there. As in it is saving your files in a different location

Usually lost tames can be found at 50 lat, 50 long. I don’t know why, that’s just where they go.
