Was going to mention regarding your element situation, that what some folks do is they make a compass cost 1 element > transfer the compass > then turn the compass back into element

So my usual Stratford stealing wyvern eggs is going in with the desmodus and then killing as many of them as I can, and then putting the Desmodus in a cryo-pod, then eating organic polymer, and having my fjord hawk, bring my stuff back to me.

Ark dosent follow aggro rules like world of warcraft. Its gonna follow you till it hits tether then go back.

Nondedicated will always have that issue. The only solution is renting an unofficial, hosting a server yourself with another machine or your original PC if its good enough (like ASM or SteamCMD), or playing a random server.

Tapejar is a two person mount. One can fire from the back of it.

You can do "super pro chad strat" and fly above it with a argie or pt, jump off with a parachute and on the way down hit it with a net gun, then speed build a trap around it

When playing ark, or really any game, your client tells the server where you are, then the server reports back with where it thinks you are. If the two dont match this will cause de-sync and will lead to whats known as rubberbanding.

This is generally caused by network issues such at latency, NAT type, packet loss or more.

Internet is not a constant thing. Some isp are effected by network traffic load, or even throttle your data at peak times. This can lead to some times of the day providing you with better service than others. Really all you can do is try restarting your router or trying again later. You could try changing dns servers or a vpn, but i dont believe that will help this particular situation

Another potential issue is that the more a character transfers around cryopods dinosaurs uploads things to the tribute and essentially plays the game in general, The page file associated for your character gets bigger and bigger and can eventually cause you to lag. There is really no known fix for this specific issue however wildcard has recently issued a new save format however they recommend not using it if the cluster or server uses mods

Alright. Here’s what I would do. Craft a few parachutes, a crossbow and some grappling hooks. Set your argy to follow then hop on and fly above the death bag and dismount. Pop a parachute and while floating down grapple the bag. Results may vary.

depending on your rates and the points you get some might die. make sure to get megatheriums with at least 25 in health and melee because only then they are going to be useful. levelling only on hp and melee

Use oviraptor + argy to steal the eggs that way wyverns wont all agroo to you unless of course you fly to close to them, or just setup a few turrets near the spot where youre getting the eggs. This is of course if your only going to use stuff from that map

No ya take the hibernation off. It will use more memory if prevented. Same with stasis if its on

Honestly all im seeing is memory errors. Which if this is a new issue try updating your gpu driver. Try loading a new single player map without progress, or anythinf else you can think of to reduce memory load. Close background apps

Alt f4ing, using task manager to close, and hitting the X can cause certain files to break and the game will need to be validated to fix them.

The server saves need a huge amount of RAM on your system. Mine has 16GB, but the save of my island server requires over 30GB RAM because of all the bases and dinos.

The system perhaps trys to create a gigantic swapfile on your system drive.

Hi! I hope this doesn't go against the rules (but I read them and it shouldn't, if it does I'll remove the message) I have a problem with ark official servers, sometimes I cannot join the server I was playing in, steam tells me that it's unable to connect to the server and the "App ID" of the server is not valid.
Sometimes I can join in it and play but not always, I don't think it's an issue with my internet connection because sometimes I can join it and other games don't give me the same message.
I can no longer join in ark's servers list because I don't see the server, I normally join through "battle metrics".

I already did a ticket and it didn't help/I received no help

hey peeps, need you advice / help again ; friend of mine and i played extinction for a while on a non dedicated server, got bored, switched to lost island, added two mods, and suddenly a) load time is extremely long and b) my friend can not join , it loads forever and then it just says 'lost connection'

somehow it worked anyway yesterday once, but now we have the same problem

we checked again, and weirdly he seems to join (his character yawns once), but then something happens (??) and he yawns again, 2 minutes later my friend gets the 'lost connection to server' :/
