Cause you havent set the difficulty to 5 , wich is the default difficulty , this can be done either by changing smth like overrideofficialdifficulty in game.ini or just chnaging the slider to one , the firdt slider in thr list iirc

I just spent two days collecting things in primitive plus (on PS4) from scorched and aberration, right? So I transfer back to the island, and start pulling the creatures from the obelisk and naturally the game crashes yet again. Character profile is empty. Completely empty. This is not the experience I paid for and frankly I'm just disappointed. These problems with transfers have been ongoing since launch, why are they still present?

when you crashed your save corrupted thats why they are gone (make sure you try to put something in, sometimes it just needs to refresh)
thats not something they can easily fix ASA hopefully will fix many of the issues but its nextgen only.

I know that it's corrupting the save. Any kind of error log would help but as that's not an option, I'm consistently losing dozens or hundreds of hours of work because it keeps happening.

prim+ makes the game more unstable then it normally is, crashes are gonna be expected. when you transfer even more so.
I recommend using the "saveworld" (might be SaveWorld) command before and after each download. might help with something.

Override difficulty is the one that changes your dinos levels with the formula of 1 * 30

So difficulty 1 will give level 30 dinos
2 will give 60
3 will be 90

I'm playing on PC and Xbox using ultimate pass currently. I found 3 servers I migrate too and a main one on crystal isles that I have been learning the ropes, basic knots at best. I'm wanting to check out Gen on my Crystal Isle one. I would just go to an Ob and upload my survivor which I understand that process. I don't want to take dinos I don't think since I am super bobbing it. But, after that would I just go to main lobby and then choose which one to go to and hit load survivor? and, if I do that my main stuff stays as is on Crystal Isle until I come back?

So this is a minor issue I'm experiencing on Scorched Earth and it's annoying me, I'm trying to get better Lightning wyvern eggs, however there's only like 3 nests where eggs spawn, there's never eggs in any other spot/nest and there's a bunch of wyverns everywhere.. This, unfortunately, appears to be the only way. I know it LOOKS like a lot of jargon, but it really is straightforward. If you can figure out how to stay alive on Ark long enough to tame something decent, you can definitely sort this.

Mods are up to date. Given they also all still function with the current game version.

Gonna have to troubleshoot 'em one by one, then, see if any are causing the problem. Only other things to try are resetting the routers, all of you, and/or port forwarding (though I don't expect that to do much in this particular case).
