No. Just place the foundation where you want it, then build 3 doorways on it and put the other 3 door ways on top of those and the ceiling to cap it

It should be a standing rectangle with only one side being open. You aggro the argy and kite him through the large open side. Run out of on of the doorways and place a billboard to block the open side and lock the argy in.

Billboard placement may take some getting used to. But it doesn’t need to be flush or square with the trap it’s just gotta block the Argys only way out

i transferred to my new main server on the island with about 200 cryopoded dinos on me, when i spawned at bed the server went down. when i relogged in i had nothing in my inventory and am not in my tribe. i submitted a ticket, how long before someone gets back to me? and will i get my inventory back and be put back in my tribe?

What happened is you transferred to a server and that deletes you from the last server you were on and puts you on the new server, but since that server went down it was reverted to a backup which didn't have you on the map. Most of the time you can't recover what you lost sadly.

The way AC works is that they make it to the point the temp for the egg is just right for it, but you cant expect 1 AC to stabilize the temp, you might need 4 8 or maybe 24… just keep adding something until u see it says incubating

well for mobility i'd recommend iguanodon. infinite stam while in four legged position, good weight, decent berry gatherer, and puts up a good fight

as for gathering, try and get lucky with a moschops, it can gatehr all sorts of stuff

@real heron Turtles are pretty commonly used on PVP, for turret soaking. I think the bred, imprinted ones can reach like 100k hp after upgrades. On PVE they do have a good late game use - high health ones are great for taming tusoteuthis; I have one called squid lover for just that purpose. I have also seen people beat the broodmother using turtles to tank it while you shoot it with velonosaurs.

Yeah, the high health & low melee they have would make them good for noglin taming; though I think for max taming effectives you need brontos or void wyrms.

if you want better gear, a side trip to ragnarok and hitting the red desert loot crates work well; they often have good scuba and blueprints. And good fur too, just the thing you need in the desert

Default scuba tank lasts 30 minutes but if you only put it on right before you run out of air and then take it off when its full then it lasts a lot longer

@silent matrix If you are playing on a server cluster, all you have to do is go up to an obelisk or drop, and select the travel to another server option; be careful about transfer timers - stuff has to be in your inventory through one of the server saves before it can come with you. Then it will bring you to the chose spawn location map on the other server.

The first time you transfer, if you want to be extra safe, upload your stuff & cryopodded tames into the ark data tab, and move over naked; that way if you accidently spawn inside of someone's base you can just off your character, and respawn elsewhere. Once you get your stuff picked up from an obelisk/drop you can get a shack set down so you have a bed to spawn in next time you move.

You know what I think they should add to Ark? Sunglasses. Yes yes I know what you are thinking, but hear me out. Have you ever tried to chaise down a yellow loot drop that is in the direction of the sun?

Also, don't make the same mistake as with the swim goggles. Make it so they can be worn without a helmet, or, attached to one like a visor.

Also have a pop up happen incase some players are not smart enough to take them off when in the dark so they can see better.
