Really, as long as you have a glow pet, a good mount and some gear that protects you from heat, you'll be fine.

It's very easy to get swarmed by reapers up there so you need to be able to kill them quickly and be mindful of their gas clouds

Finding gear has been very difficult. I believe we have loot crate quality set to 1.5. I only have a primitive flak and shotgun still.

Yes!

You can always take the drake up there on a 90% night cycle and farm drops. Surface drops are generally much better than anywhere else

Just be quick and stay out of reach until you're ready to go in for one.

Make sure you're off the surface before 6am

as soon as the map changes to daytime, you will burn to death VERY QUICKLY

The invis ability will help make getting drops easier too bc you'll be stealthed.

Caves are the safer way to gear up. Still plenty of things in there that can kill you, but at least you wont have to worry about the time or hordes of reapers.

I would suggest putting your cuddle interval to 0.01 which would allow all dinos to get to 100%. a rex would take 11 cuddles with almost 3 minutes of spare time so out of the hour it takes to grow

Idk what happen with the new patch but we are back to having our character inventory duplicate in the cloud and sent twice when u spawn on the map u transfered

Normally it is impossible for a level 46 to achieve 1300% melee damage

Like a level 350 dino usually would be able to achieve 1300% melee

So that would explain your original question of why a parasaur could take out a pack of carnos

This is self hosted unofficial, we have 2 other maps running on the same server. 2 were LC and high ping, one was a test one so i switched it to Valguero and its fine so its just a Lost Colony issue. The test one had no mods or plugins, running out of options for the problem to be except something in the latest update

They have great weight reductions, which is nice. I use the Evo mosa to pick it up like an argy and bring it back to base

I can't imagine playing without that mosa TLC, the thing has virtually zero utility without it.

No mobility, no jellyfish resistance/immunity, no tuso immunity, no harvest utility or additional attacks. Literally all it has is raw damage and raw speed, which you can find elsewhere. The only thing the the evo mosa is missing is an immunity to tuso grab.

Yes. I believe the mod is called Paleo-Dangerous Depths or something.

It modifies the Mosasaurus to have a new model, new attacks, new animations, and new traits
