Honestly this depends on your stack sizes and if you're using the normal or tek trough. If you're using default stack sizes and normal trough you are usually better off cooking the meat since it will usually spoil before the babies can finish eating it.

With increased stack sizes the meat stacks take a lot longer to completely spoil so there isn't any real benefit to cooking it for the babies.

Just sayin we ran that Dragon fight recently and lost 19 rexes with decent saddles. The fire doesn't mess around. Herbivores resist the fire much better.

depending on the server you play on, I would for sure ask for anything a bit more robust...like Journeyman or MC...someone on your server might be chill and hook ya up with a blueprint

I've reinstalled the game 4 time in the last 72 hours trying to work out bugs and I've run into storage issues each time. because the game requires more storage in the download and install process than what is actually used after everything is said and done.

Every time I load into the game it says it need and update but won’t let me as it tells me that “you need this update but we can’t get it right now. I think the mod issue is causing problems with nitrado servers as well. My server won’t start at all. Gets hung up on restarting and basically times out stating it’s neither started or stopped. Decided to try sp and get home screened immediately. (Xbox)

Hi all. I just need to vent. I finally decided to download Astraeos and I transferred to it from another server (official modded). I was out scouting for a place to build a base and it crashed. I tried to get back in and now it has to update 17 mods. I just know once I get back in, I'm going to be dead because I'll fall off my wyvern. Luckily, I placed a bed near the obelisk, but I'll need to transfer back to my home server to get another wyvern so I can retrieve my wyvern and pyromane on Astraeos. I didn't bring much with me because it was my first time transferring servers in survival ascended. I've now been waiting almost 30 minutes for these mods to update. I'm slightly irritated. Thank you for reading my rant. lol

it is separate files, you just cant see or modify them, so it is sort of irrelevant to the user

not exactly. ps4 ASE EVERY piece of save data was seperate. character was seperate each map was seperate and your settings were all seperate. you could choose what to redownload or upload etc to the cloud or back to your ps4/5 but with ASA the entire game has one single save data. all maps are tired to save data for the cloud etc.

they are still separate, ase and asa use very similar savefile structures. console UI is just not showing you the individual files.. which is understandable, the average user would have no idea what they are looking at

i would know cause as a single player person i used that tactic to have multiple copies of each of my dinosaurs. what i did back on ASE was uploaded say aberration map save data to the cloud. did al my transfers to say scorched and then redownloaded my aberration save data which was BEFORE the transfer so i had a entire copy of all 500 dinosaurs i transferred. ASA i cannot do that

Btw anyone on singleplayer careful before you load into your game theres been a weird bug for a WHILE now where ark randomly deactivates all your mods as you load into your game, which if you have things inside modded structures (like i did recently) lost everything because of it, make sure to always back up save before you go off your game

A player from another server came to me, claiming that they have it adjusted - even for vanilla. I asked him if he had confused it with s+. He said both grinders worked the same. I am on extinction and i have aquired a Unassembled Mek BP but i cant do anything with it. If i put it in the replicator, it doesnt have a crafting requirement. It doesnt show what I need to make it, just the health, damage, etc. Any ideas? Do I need to kill the king titan first or something? I can craft the primitive but not upgraded ones.
