But according to google On the Ragnarok map in Ark: Survival Ascended, blue gems are primarily obtained by harvesting blue crystallized sap from trees with white leaves, which are found scattered throughout the map, particularly near the Sanctuary.

On ark evolved? Really.. one day you could invite and the next you couldnt. It was never addressed by wc or microsoft. They also removed the ability to see the recent players on ark too. I dont think it was ever fixed. We all started relying on C&P server names to people who were interested on posts directly to their DM

Is anyone having any luck with the FPS drops? I can play fine for a bit but it starts tanking into 8-12 range on inventory or placing items/buildings. I've got a 3060ti

• lower graphics settings
• turn off frame gen
• turn off dlss

• roll back to earlier drivers (566.36 currently) + the attempts above.

None of this has worked. Some of it seems to delay the issue but it never stops it fully. Kicks in around 30-60 min and can bounce back but often just doesn't.

There's a mod u can add , I cant remember the exact name but it starts "all colour" and ot has crossplay in the title (im in bed and logged for the night). That spawns some crazy color combos in wild spawns. But if you're trying to have specific colors on specific animals the codes are the only way I know of. There's also a couple mods that u can use the use the paint brush or the sprayer but ive never tried them cause I use the admin code because the colors are hereditary when breeding

Swapping VRAM with RAM comes with a big performance cost on UE5

Yeah, though everything worked great before the 5.5 update. 1080p, most settings on high, the pop-in wasn't too bad, FPS was good, at a stable 55. After the update, it all went down-hill. No console command will let me tell the engine to spill into system RAM (the commands were just disabled on PC, for now) and most of my textures are blurry because the DLSS and Framegen alone use a lot of VRAM, not to mention the lighting. I basically just want the performance from before the update, when everything worked a lot better for us. Kind of unfair, considering that the majority of affordable NVIDIA cards are released with only 8 gigs, but it is what it is.

Stackable items (not all of them, but e.g., structures and custom food) are doubled or until the stack is full (no new stack is created). For example, I travel from Center to Astraeos... I have 35 ceilings with me - on Astra, I then have 35. If I have 75 with me, I then have 100. Trust me, if the engine needs to use RAM as VRAM it will, and you will immediately see 5-20fps
Also, have you tried deleting the GUS.ini, it has helped some with graphical problems since 5.5

Dear Wildcard,

I appreciate that you are such creative developers who bring us new updates all the time! Sure the updates are all very engaging and eye catchy, but these updates seem to be coming at the cost of performance.

To address the issue, the game has been crashing whenever we try to play our single player saves and after the first crash, the save file goes corrupt. The only way for us to be able to actually play right now on single player is to rename the anti corruption back up file to the actual save file's name and then deleting the corrupted save file. This takes a very long time to do and also sets the in-game progress back quite a bit.

It is my utmost request to address this issue first hand as this is much more damaging than all the other bugs and glitches I've seen.

There will be three types of files in this folder:

• The tribe profile: YourTribeIDNumber.arktribe

Each of these files will have one or more older backups, with the same naming scheme, except ending in .bak, .profilebak, and .tribebak

To restore a backup, determine which backup file is suitable based on it's age or filesize, make a copy of that file, and remove the savefile it will replace from the folder. Then, rename the backup to the same name as the removed savefile.

IE; copy TheIsland_WP_AntiCorruptionBackup.bak, remove TheIsland_WP.ark, and rename the copy to TheIsland_WP.ark

To back up the entire save folder for additional security, rightclick the folder -> send to -> zipped folder. Then move the zip somewhere safe.

I had the problem of a corrupt save too a while ago, only thing that helped was starting new, since then I do manual backups after I played I just grab the whole folder and copy it to an external harddrive so I still have my saves in case that happens again

Cranking the difficulty up would also crank up the levels of wild dinos, though it makes the game more difficult also for them to have fancier colors there needs to be an event active (if you are in singleplayer you activate the events per the mod page) but I can also recommend the shiny dino mod it adds some cool new variants and a lot of cool colors to the dinos (you can config in what level range they spawn and a lot of other things)

If its pvp fair game they dont care. But be aware you can get banned for taming a parasaur so. Just be careful. If its pve it is something they do moderate. You can't block entrances to artifacts or obelisks they will delete all your tribes structures across the map for this.

Are either of the parents imprinted ?
Do either of the parents have levels put into them ?
Either of these will make it appear that your baby is getting lower stats then it actually is.
I had very stubborn thylos that took over 30 babies to get the health and melee I wanted in the baby. It sometimes takes time. Try feathers but I am assuming that you are referencing 600 percent health thus melee would be 200%
If that’s so your Dino isn’t worth breeding. Not be harsh.

Does anyone know if how/where character profiles are stored has changed?

I moved my non-dedicated server to a nitrado server and... My character is in the game but I can't connect to it. My friend can connect to their characters, though they still track my originals location as if they are tethered to it (as per non-dedicated).

When I create a new character I then can't see a new .arkprofile on the server for that new character. So I'm left thinking the documentation I've read about where this file should be is out of date.

Nothing on the server itself checks DLC ownership AFAIK. you just can't connect unless you have the DLC.

Yeah putting my [account id].ArkProfile in the map folder is what an the Google hits told me to do. But it still forces me to create a new character and then, informatively, did not create a new ark profile.

Which makes me think either nitrado has a hidden profile folder, or the character is being stored IN the save now (perhaps because this used to be a non-dedicated save)

Not something I think can fix on my end but at least on extinction, I keep getting this visual glitch where players phase rapidly along a line. They don’t physically move (happens when they are online or off line) but the image of them does. Looks kinda like DC the Flash.

Are you playing on ascended? If yes, check that the parents don’t have the traits melee/health frail as I think these make the chance higher that the get the lower stat (it decreases the chance of them getting the higher stat)

Is any one else having issues with creatures spawning in caves that shouldn't be there or walking through walls since the last astreous update. 174 astral rex was outside my 2 gateways that were not destroyed and then all of a sudden was in the cave killing my creatures and destroying my base. I figured it out!

Because I have steam isntalled on my hard drive and Ark installed on my SSD, the LocalProfiles folder had different local profiles and stored different data. I dleted the local profile in my hard drive which didn't do anything, but the one in my SSD fixed it!

I read it removed achievements and explorer notes, but that's okay because I wanted to get a fresh playthrough this time and explore the game without 50x multiplier on everything (I did that when I was younger) ;joy:

When I play solo, I get a shuttering/lags when riding a dinosaur (just me and dino). I tried restarting the game and it helps for two minutes, the same when I try to teleport between beds. There shouldn't be a problem with the computer's performance, I have several thousand hours on Ark and this is the first time I've dealt with something like this. How can I fix this? Hello everyone, I need help. Problem: I found a community server and settled on the Ragnarok map. During my game, my character disconnected. and I returned to the Xbox interface. So I restarted the game, then I returned to the server list. After finding my server and entering my code, the loading starts and it puts me back in my game but I don't have time to wake up before I return directly to the Xbox interface. So I can no longer connect. Each time, an administrator or a teammate from my tribe must come and kill my sleeping body for me to reappear. Do you have a solution?

You can leave the current tribe your in. If your in single player use TakeAllDinos command to get your games back. Template will disappear when you leave tribe. Sometimes the stupid complete function dissipates

They sadly haven't been added in to the base game to my knowledge at least, although Garuga did say he was gonna implement a feature were you can convert modded dinos to vanilla ones but then again.

if i want to join a friend s bossfight on center, alpha difficulty, do i have to be level 100? or can i join with lvl 71?

A loot of dinos just going inside mesh like its nothing everything going invisible or appearing in and out of existence very quick 5rm8 is now just trash and COMPLETELY broken
