Seems to be a glitch with recent patch, or one of them... When carrying dino can't attack in middair. Additionally, when commanding other dinos and telling them to attack... they seem to attack but no damage is done? Logged out and back in a few times with no help.. Anyone else having this issue?

M.2 is a connector for (mainly) NVMe drives. it is not a brand, model, or type of drive. could be literally anything

there, that is the actual model. should be absolutely fine by it's hardware specs, although samsung has a legacy of garbage firmware and bugs on their consumer-grade drives

worth running some tests on, but i would not suspect that is at fault, more than memory/bus swapping or some software weirdness

drive read/write speed tests, there are a lot of options for those, samsung should have one built in to their software. but also look at VRAM load and pcie bus use when the game is stuttering

Anyone having issues with invincible dinos on lost colony. Usually level 1 and can't be killed but can kill you. Can't be destroyed with admin gun either.

had it happen on friends server and when carno got in water it starting pooping so much would get to point things were starting to lag and soon crash

my strat was 1 decoy and 1 turret and try and get super turret and then just have turrets mow everything down and i mainly acted against big things or to draw some aggro to keep turrets from being targeted

not sure if would work but if could take advantage of using decoy grenades to build up and let turrets do their jobs and have people wait at each spawn and just rush the ankles

You're admins should know. And its not really a fix for buggy creatures, but I know companions make it difficult to leave the map. So it could at least help you leave map or equip another companion thats not as bugged.

if you are runnig ultra settings on an 8gb GPU you will run out of VRAM
which will stop textures from loading correctly, so as i said before try setting textures to low (and restart your game afterwards) even then it might not be enough

Lost colony pre-orders came with the Elderclaw and the Drakelings as a pre-order bonus i believe. However after release they were moved to be seperate creatures like the Dreadmare and Pyromanes.

As far as im aware, Creatures stop spawning when structures are placed. My assumption would be that you built on spawn areas for the creatures and now they wont spawn in said area around your build. Depending how large the area is, this would make sense for them to stop spawning on the island entirely.

Nah this is a little outpost, quite literally two regular foundations attached to a little hexagon of 6 triangle foundations, out on one 'arm' of the two stretches of land that make that little bay on herbi isle. There's no reason those few structures should be blocking spawns on the ENTIRE herbi island.

Yeah that sounds like a settings thing. Im pretty sure there is a setting for re-spawn timer for times. Maybe there is also a safe zone setting

doed for stone, anky for metal, chainsaw for wood (mammoth, rollrat, beaver, thorny, theri, stego)
there are some for specific maps like bears for organic poly plants (elderclaw works too) things like that.

theri doesn't have weight reduction without traits so I'd say its the worst of them. chainsaw beats them all tho

Imo the taming methods dont suck, but they just take too long. If you make the efficiency x2 by default, so let's say the ossidon only takes 2 rolls to 100% etc it would be better.

Same with the cryolophosaurus taming, if I only had to stand there deflecting for 10 min instead of ya know, 30 for a 150 it would be less painful

when a Gigantoraptor claims a baby, it'll skew some of the bonus levels towards the stat corresponding to the highest base + mutated stat of your Gigantoraptor

so let's say that your Gigantoraptor current highest stat is Oxygen for example

when ya claim a baby, some of the bonus levels will be put into it's Oxygen stat

so ya should consider breading high level babies each with a specific stat that is higher than the rest

Melee is the typical go to but ya can have one for HP, Stamina and Weight even

of course, ya will be to manually level up all of them 88 times 🙃🙃🙃

Definitely, but this is actually the perfect and only solution I’ve found to getting good ossidons on higher difficulty servers

And it’s even cooler now that each stat matters at least a little with them, so I’ll prob breed a giganto for every stat lol
