when you start a session, it basically clones the game you want from their master copies, not installing it normally

you mean the time it is taking them to update the game before you can restart? it has nothing to do with your end. can be days in some cases, or weeks for DLC. they drop the ball on it regularly

Unless today's update broke it, it should work you'd want difficulty override to 10 and then min dino lvl 15 which translates to 150 and max dino lvl 30 which translates to 300 in the ini config

Need Help: Admin Mode Crashing Server (Ark: Survival Ascended on Nitrado)

Hey all — hoping someone here has run into this and can point us in the right direction.

We’re running Ark: Survival Ascended on Nitrado servers, and every time we try to go into admin mode, the server boots us / crashes.

What’s happening:
• When we open console and type:
enablecheats <our-admin-password>
It used to crash instantly — now it lets us proceed one step further.
• But when we click “Enable Creative Mode”
The server kicks us immediately / crashes.

Do I need to add the admin user ids into the ini file on nitrado? Is there something I need to do in game? It used to work before but we changed something recently which I believe made changes to the code or something.

Any ideas?

Should do for broodmother and the big monkey but I am not sure it works for the dragon. YOu could take a few deinonychus to the dragon. They apply bleed damage to the boss which works wonders 😄

Dinos take % damage from the flames to the dragon so they die very quickly. Herbivores (theris) are better because they can eat veggie cakes - you should only level the hp a little bit so that the % dmg done by the breath can be healed by the cake. So mutations against dragon is not hugely helpful if they can eat it really really fast.

If you mate dinos with 20 mutations with each other, you'll get a dino with 40 mutations, but it won't be twice as strong.

And besides mutations, the quality of saddles and leveling up also have an impact.

There's also a bit of randomness. Bosses can deal different damage, especially the dragon. It can set everyone on fire or just a few, and it can fly back and forth, setting fire, and then flying away. Dinos can get stuck, take damage, but not bite back.

Also use Yutyrannus and Daeodon for support. You can also help your dinos by dealing extra damage with a shotgun.

Best Dragon Practice is a good Sword, A good resistance + DMG + Health, a Megaloceros and some good stegos with mates and pumpguns. then bash the sh.t out of him with melee

and it dont need to be mutated or something

i saw they fixed drake/reaper spawns on valguero, but went down to the radiation zone for the first time, and only saw a single reaper queen. no drakes and no eggs. Anything special I need to do? or should they just eventually come around?
