There is no permanent fix sadly. You can make the disappear if you leave the rendering area but they will come back. I’m sure they will properly fix it eventually. Is is annoying but just have to live with it for now

@sweet turtle I just know that when you get farther along in the game there is tek. I have not been playing long, but from what I have seen from videos I have watched there is tek later in game, I guess it is up to you if you use it or not but you might miss out on some game play

Yea, there are talks of making astreos public since its an official map, but for now all the modded maps are sub only. I oay like 2 dollars a month and get access to all sub maps plus bonuses and other perks every month. But i understand some people have a total aversion to pay to play servers.
If you do decide to check it out again then know that The Hive is one of the oldest and most balanced clusters around

Legion Cluster been solid server I've found, nice rates and they have 3 clusters one all passive mods near vanilla, one primal chaos, and other nemesis

That only gives each resource node more resources, increasing the amount of hits you need to take it down.
In ASE you could set it so a tree that would give 30 wood with 100% melee damage would give a lot more if you had more melee damage.

Not sure where to report a big issue but when equipping a chibi, tone members will notice character spazzing out and glitching all over the place as well as the chibi doing the same when character is standing still. Remove chibi and problem stops. Also removing the chibi helped the frame rates go up so this may be causing multiple issues.

Hey y’all, I’ve been running into a new issue and could use some insight.
So I’m playing Ark: Survival Ascended on PS5 (non-dedicated session with a friend), and we kept getting crashes that rolled us back like 20 minutes every time. After talking with folks here, someone suggested using the saveworld command to manually save progress — and it worked! No more rollbacks after crashes, which was great.

BUT now that I’ve been using saveworld regularly (only for about a day and a half), the crashes have gotten way more frequent — like every 5 minutes. It’s super frustrating. Has anyone else run into this? I don’t know if the command is causing the crashes somehow, or if it’s something else entirely.

How do you unbind a key on Steam PC version. I tried selecting the key assigning it to another key (such as the use key E) and then reassigning the use key to E, but it only seems to work randomly other times the key that should now be unbound says MouseX or MouseY. There has got to be an easier way to unbind a key

Ya, but it seems to work at random, I do this for one key I want to unbind and it works great but at other times it does not unbink the key but instead turns it to Mouse X or Mouse Y. I mean come on in other games just chose the key to unbind and then hit the ESC key and bam unbound key.

it works on The Island for me, hopefully on Scortched Earth too. I guess we need to get closer to the hitbox now.

I posted a topic on steam Ark Survival Ascended titled 'Best settings for playing on Nvidia 1080 ti' which involves adjusting certain settings and using a certain Console command. That improved FPS for me on my outdated gpu. You could perhaps cherrypick some of these commands and see what works best for your system.

But i am still experience the occasional lag spike of a few seconds when flying my ptera, i guess when it needs to load in some textures or something

I think for this game it is important for your gpu to have more than 8GB of RAM. As the game is very VRAM hungry. The 1080 Ti has 11 GB, so that helps a bit.

Also the upscaler (FSR 3) is on by default, which could be causing issues on older GPU models.

Basically: Every flyer when they start flying, if i'm not mounted, their texture will stay where they started flying, but their hitbox will fly around...

That makes it so it's impossible to track any wild flyer, since I never know where they are.

That's an NVIDIA driver bug actually

It can be once an hour or multi5times in just 30 minutes. I Uninstalled all my mods and reinstalled them with no change. Can anyone tell me what I need to fix this? It's extremely frustrating as every time I load back in, I have to teleport somewhere to get the rocks and trees (that I demolished to build my base) to disappear again.

Just adjust accordingly

With Wildcard's track record for releases yes. Even in the unlikely scenario it does come on the 18th it will most likely be around the 23rd before it is stable enough to play reliably.

I always thought that modified the imprint buff strength, and altered the stat increase. If not then I will have to start playing with it.

I think it does do that, i just doubled a pts heath by imprinting it, idk if thats normal bc i dont breed much
