Hey guys I have a question about Ark SE. I have already generated a world on Valguero and I just got started with a friend in the redwoods. If I would add the Valguero dino and map extensions map mid playthrough would it work or would I have to generate a new world? I'm guessing the rock drake trench in the mod is a new part of the map and I'm not sure if a dino wipe would be enough.

I don't know what armor you're really saying but the armor in the trailer is of the old greek. You can obtain them by downloading the "Astraeos Wardrobe" Mod ( Once installed you have it on any server)

Meh, The rewards are balanced for official servers. However there is 1 new dino, it is a golem a little different. Anyway, the strong point of Ark club is to get Skins or good things for your beginners in an official. For 1 single player mostly the Skins. Still, I encourage you to try it

i was not able to download any mods via joining or on the mod page - it didnt even load the preview images. I was able to fix it by installing the curse windows app. Not everything works directly in Ark for whatever reason 😮

I do however recommend you start with the official story maps, rather than a partner DLC (Astraeos) as there's no story involved. It's quite fun going through the arks and evolving your character learning the story, which you can't really do much on The Centre and Astraeos

1. Implement a hard limit on how many unconnected structures a player or tribe can place.
2. Make unbuilt or small groups of structures like pillars and single foundations decay much faster than real bases.
3. Pillars spam(could make it so you can define on a server level what a pillar is defined as, as people comes up with new ways to get around this) could automatically despawn within 10-30 min instead of weeks.
4. Introduce a claim zone mechanic where tribes have limited build areas.
5. Implement a system that detects excessive spam and prevents players from placing more structures in an area.
6. Introduce upkeep costs for structures, making it expensive to maintain large amounts of spam, The more scattered structures a tribe has, the more resources it drains over time.
7. Create a Report excessive pillar spam function from command or a button that allow players to report areas that is overly covered with pillars where you like define a name or tribe name and the system would scan the area for how many single pillars or whats defined on server level there is and if there is an excessive amount then delete all buildings owned by that player this function could work for both official but also private servers where on official its automated but on private servers it could alert admins if enabled

the only ones of those there that could take a bit of time to make and add would be 4, 6 and 7

3. Pillars spam(could make it so you can define on a server level what a pillar is defined as, as people comes up with new ways to get around this) could automatically despawn within 10-30 min instead of weeks.
4. Introduce a claim zone mechanic where tribes have limited build areas.
5. Implement a system that detects excessive spam and prevents players from placing more structures in an area.
6. Introduce upkeep costs for structures, making it expensive to maintain large amounts of spam, The more scattered structures a tribe has, the more resources it drains over time.
7. Create a Report excessive pillar spam function from command or a button that allow players to report areas that is overly covered with pillars where you like define a name or tribe name and the system would scan the area for how many single pillars or whats defined on server level there is and if there is an excessive amount then delete all buildings owned by that player this function could work for both official but also private servers where on official its automated but on private servers it could alert admins if enabled

the only ones of those there that could take a bit of time to make and add would be 4, 6 and 7

Earlier tonight I had just ascended of SE, clicked on AB, went through and clicked on "download survivor" , watched the cutscene and immediately after the scene the game crashed on me. I relaunched the game only to greet me with the character creator. My character just disappeared. Don't even have a profile backup save or anything. @ all gamers that have Xbox on PC cant play the DLC and imo its a big disadvantage for all of us, as all other players pillaring the whole map and gaining exp and dinos for the same prize as we payed! its PURE injustice !
