Does anyone here have weird issues with "ghosting" (or whatever you want to call it) and uses an AMD card? Im having weird effects on dinos/enviroment that is in motion (e.g standing on the back of a quetz that is on the ground, the head-sway, or bronto tail swaying). I tried every single possible setting in-game, in AMD Adrenaline plus went through my monitors settings.

Weirdly enough this "ghosting" disappears when i open the console or the ESC menu. As soon as i close the Console or ESC menu it starts doing that again. This is especially bad looking through greenhouse walls.

I'm out of ideas... Google doesn't say much, maybe someone had the same issue here. I do have this in other games too, but in ASA it's especially bad. Had this issue for years, previous to ASA

depends. Scorched Earth is Very challenging. I would start on Center then go to Scorched. But if your doing it for the Storyline then you want to go to Scorched. The Center is not part of the storyline

Turn off max difficulty and increase server difficulty past 5. You may want to run the Dino Levels mod too so you can rebalance which levels you see more often. Spawning into portal on Ab for first time with a bunch of Basilisks lvls 200-300 was fun lol

My only issues on single player was no element on abb but is fixed then on center the element spawn 50% of the times in boss fights and I went under the map. My main issues (aside from the crashes that effected everyone) are the graphical glitch with mammals and small creatures, and more recently being unable to use any of the tekgrams despite beating all the bosses and ascending on the story maps so far. The second one only started after aberration started alongside the no element from bosses glitch which is still affecting me.

Trikes can kill alpha raptors. The long range of their attack hitbox and their ability to knock the alpha raptor away means that if you time your hits correctly you can juggle it without it ever landing a hit, and if you ever misstime it, the trike has a shield on its face

if you play on servers, then just accept your new character into the tribe and give him an admin or owner. I doubt that it is possible to transfer the character from gamepass to steam. However, with all your dinos, you will be able to re-pass the bosses, it is not such a long time, farm tributes. Unfortunately, if you have already received all the notes and pumped up the chibi - you will probably need to do it again.

First a parasaur then if you are close to the mountains build a small stone trap with dino door and kite an argi it's ez tame. You can also build an even easier trap to kite a rex or a therizino inside. Beware that flyer saddles require chitin 150 I think while rex saddle requires high level

I have breeding up but stats are vanilla and I decided to go with pyromanes worse decision, manes had 10 mut points in both melee and health but gorilla did 2k damage per throw. Lucky I had a 270 bp for a yuty so I got a 350 saddle and I just sat infront of the gorilla while the manes attacked from behind, went slower since manes couldn't do special attack since it would kill me

OK, So in the ARK evovlved i did Island Alpha Dragon boss many times on official server with 17 rexes and 1 yuty ( HP 60K) (MELEE 1802). But, Recently started again Ark ascended and now have Boss Rexes Ready ( i can say that they got almost the same stat like evolved rexes). Now I have heard that Rexes Don't stand a chance In front of the dragon Boss in Ark ascendant ( Almost can bear 3 Fire from Dragon ). what i remembered previously while always i tried dragon the Rexes finished him 2nd land sometimes 3rd but they never need her to land 4th time because they always kill her in 2nd land. Now i want an advice from whom already did Alpha Dragon with Rexes Maybe. Or may i take rexes to Alpha dragon and have a chance to beat her or i have to raise a theri army.( Don't want to go with breed again please. Rates always start at the same time, minus server saves starting them on servers themselves, the bot does not always show it at the exact time. The times in discord follow your timezone on your device.

Spawn somewhere else then build a stone cage craft some narcotics a parasaur will be very useful, kite a rex or a therizino inside tranq and tame it. You can whistle follow and use the parasaur then whistle attack grind for the saddle and your problem is solved. If on abb just kite a spino

In order for Evolved and Ascended to be able to update, you must have at least a few gigabytes over the games full size leftover. For Ascended, you'd need 150gb free.

They've been attempting to blame a ton on mods, even when it is not the case. You can just ignore them. File #bug-reports for issues.

You probably have some dinos overspawning, it does happen. You can use mods to help lower spawns though, if you want. While you're in singleplayer, typically parts of the map that are not rendered in are in stasis, so it would most likely be whatever you've got rendered in.

If it is not dinos, you could have your settings up a bit too high. Even users with higher end PCs have issues with settings too high.

whatever gigantoraptor you have, it needs to be above the level of the wild baby, so a level 150 gigantoraptor would suffice for.

once you have that, every level you level up on your gigantoraptor (from getting XP on it, like any other tame) determines how many bonus levels you get from wild babies

you can level up creatures up to 88 levels I believe? that would give you the maximum wild levels from babies (+50% of the baby's level)

so if you have a 150 gigantoraptor and level it up 88 times from gaining XP, you can get up to the maximum amount of bonus levels from wild babies

Hi, i ran into an odd issue .So im currently using a 4070 Super and i just found out that you can disable the FSR3 FrameGen with the following commands.

r.FidelityFX.FSR3.Enabled 0 | r.FidelityFX.FSR3.QualityMode 0 | r.FidelityFX.FI.Enabled 0

So i did. I also disabled Fog and Clouds. I got around 70-80 FPS without DLSS. I capped my fps to 60 via Msi Afterburner and had a smooth experience my GPU was around 65% to 90% usage. After 15min the GPU usage suddently spiked to 100% and i only got around 37 to 51 FPS. I also noticed my VRAM dropped form 10.5GB to 9.2GB. Even after restarting multiple times i cant get it to run smooth again. Is this purely due to bad optimization or am i doing something wrong?

Looks like the devs are still not ware of the broken Freesync/gsync caused by a botched FSR3 frame gen implementation in ASA. They have forced it on and the user is not even aware that there is frame gen running and it results in a choppy/stuttery mess even at 100fps. I disabled it with the console command "r.FidelityFX.FI.Enabled 0" and VRR started working. Please fix this issue devs.

If you dont farm venom he sure will. It consume approx 300 food/hour if im not mistaken. So youll need a couple of nameless venom to make it reach adult

I remember singleplayer in ase was annoying bc of recources not spawning again unless you spend time in their radius.
The fix was to enable hibernation mode.

Official pve is nice to meet other people and trade stuff, but the pillaring is terrible, I would do it on single player any time, plus you can get some nice event rates and taming all the time not only on weekends

i'm playing through the maps on my own server as that's how i prefer to play. But keeping track of days and everything still progressing while you're offline doesn't really work with 100 days imo, unless you turn the server off every time you log off
