Just bought Ark and Avatar on Xbox on the same day, tried both, and I thought I was in 1987 with 8 bit graphics in Ark, whereas Avatar looked AMAZING.

A friend on xbox x is having trouble downloading the mods. It keeps uninstalling his mods. He gets almost all the way thru, maybe 3 left and it cancels out and says he has no mods installed and wont let him connect to server.

has anyone had the issue with Ceratosaurus stats changing? I couldnt understand what was going on, when the ceratosaurus I am breending mutations with I would name them the AMount of a stat they have.. ie: HP 5400 or something like that.. anyway, I came back later and the amount of HP they had changed. so I renamed it again, and it changed back another day... finally I got ahold of some tek binoculars and looked at the stats and they were different then the stats I get when I access their inventory.. in addition.. the stats were sometimes GREATER then their max,, ie current HP was 6000 of 5400 or something like that. I also would have 2 identically bread ceratosaurs next to each other and althoug the points IN each stat were the same.. the value was still showing as different from each other.. ie: both would have like 42 points in HP but 1 would say 5400 HP and the other 4600 HP..

just curious if anyone has noticed anything like that

my son runs a 4070ti and I can do max settings with it... I run significantly lower.. and can still run high but it has some lag to it.. so I run medium.

People have unrealistic expectations about graphics they think if they paid $2000 for a graphics card it should be able to run anything at max but that's not the way it works.
UE5 really pushes graphics cards hard, and Ascended itself takes advantage of all of those features.
All that being said you can still run it on a 3060, because that is all fairly well optimized. Just be realistic about your settings.

Well it is unfortunate and I feel like Win10 users got scammed, at the same time if they were part of the community they should’ve known something had to change and that since microsoft doesn’t change their ways it would’ve been their ass. This generally speaking for the official servers ban and whatnot, not for the cert issues.
The cert issues are just tied to windows, nothing WC really can do now. Maybe they shouldn’t have gone for it and for consoles right away, but they wanted to and they needed the money, now we’re here.

There's tons of cerato and scorpion and sabers and argies and all of them can drop a map.

Just make sure you empty meat weight cuz bags will drop on the ground and you'll have to loot the bags instead of it going in your inventory.

Technically shoulder mount won't drown as long as they are on your shoulder. However there are bug lately that causes shoulder mounts to randomly die. My pyro died on my shoulder while underwater.

on official? you will get spawncamped on most pvp servers, that is just business as usual. pve is actually more toxic in a lot of ways, no way to fight back against the endless griefing you will encounter. official is just bad news

getting established on pvp involves a lot of running around naked until you are high enough level to get to and build a base, or join an established tribe

Just had a carchar spawn on my base and murder all my dinos and destroy half of my huge stone build to pieces, what a lovely experience. Lost 3 rexes that were over level 300 and so many more.
