When he goes to the character creation screen there is no option to download his uploaded character/stuff, he says he can go into single player and see the character that was on the previous server and all his stuff is still there, but how do we get him into the new server?

Pretty close to release, I fully remember claiming a baby after killing the parents and the level stayed the same. But then when I tamed the parent, the baby's level went up as if it was a perfect tame. And I thought that made so much sense. But now claiming babies is kinda useless

my house is basically split into 3 segments the right side is the crafting/storage which there i over heat and on fire, the middle is the dino garage/breeding area, there its just warm not on fire, the living quarters is above the garage perfectly fine there, then the left side is the hatching chambers which has aircons so perfect, its just wild how walking through my house changes so much xD

it lets you make potions that garuntees a mutation is going to happen has a x1, x5, x10 and x20 variants, so it just helps speed up the mutation breeding, even using this mod with x1 potions took me 200 hours with 50 rexes to get 20 mutations into health and melee xD using x20 would of been alot faster but i used x1

I was already losing the will to play the game, because I just simply cannot get creatures to spawn in normally. I’ve tried everything. Tried increasing max dino count, preventhibernation, destroywilddinos, going non-dedicated, turning off “use singleplayer settings” and nothing is working. I think I've found the settings I like the most that fits my playstle which is why I don't think official will ever work for me lol, 6x taming speed, 2x gathering and the breeding even the longest dino takes no longer than 8 hours egg to adult

The queue system is broken. You are much more likely to get in if you try to join, fail, back to main menu, then try again.

I don't enjoy Taming Speed multiplier, as it decreases the need for food and narcs. Just increasing the drain of food and torpidity on wild dinos make it qiucker, but without lessening the resources required.

Eating faster - getting tamed faster.. for any specific dino level, there's a specific number of times they will eat based on tamingspeedMultiplier.. and they will only eat 1 of whatever food per "feeding"

anything that it cant reach from the ground. if the kapro looks like it can reach your character off the back of a dino, then it can grab you regardless of if the dino is massive or not
preferably use dinos like wyverns, rexes or megatheriums which wont even aggro kapros to begin with.

since you have an argy, you may as well tame a thyla. theyre better than carnos in every way, quite sad honestly. argies can pick them up so transporting them from the wild into a trap or even near your base is very easy

anky wont help you much for metal gathering until you get an argy. once you do that, you can go to mountains and farm all the metal you desire
until then, you'll have to survive off the few metal nodes from caves or small inland mountains

kinda hard to get a good argy without a trap. it'll start flying off into the sunset once its torpor gets too high and either you wont be able to get it to fall asleep, or it'll get knocked out next to a sabertooth and die, or drop into the ocean and drown.

once you do knock it out, always surround it with spike walls. same applies for almost every dino you knock out. prevents them from getting hit by some random raptor or terror bird, even one hit will cause its taming effectiveness to plummet and lose you a lot of extra levels

Like if I wanted to tame a Trex I could put a ballista on it and launch a chain Bola at the Trex and then shoot tranq bolts at it

but chain bolas are pretty good, you can place the ballista on the ground and shoot the rex in question, then pick up the ballista. can be repeated infinitely for however many rexes you want
use crossbow tranq arrows as well, most efficient method of knocking something unconscious in terms of resources
