Klinger posted a mod update for approval 14 hours ago, removing items that are an issue on consoles (forge and lighting) since the console patch is taking it's sweet time. The patch for PC seems to have fixed the issue but he's doing it anyway so we can try getting in to servers without losing buildings built with rustic structures. Give modders a break, everything was fine before the update.

I Uninstaller all mine and started going through checking them. Out of yhe blue my automated ark was my only problem. I found that it doesn't want to work with other structure mods now. I mean, it was hard crashing me if I used any other structure mod, from the loading screen. Didn't have a problem until that patch.

I had a few tylosaurus and other modded creatures inside some super cryo storage cryopods but the mods went invalid and basically removed themselves, now I can’t throw them out despite the mods working now

Where do I report a bug? Pixel painting is substantially worse since the big bad patch, but there’s an actual bug too where painting or erasing near the avatar seams jumps to 3 pixels wide, ruining all attempts at intricacy.

Quick and silly question: I play single player, so I have never had the need for turrets. If I set turrets or Plant Xs in my base, have my tames on "attack my target" or "neutral", and a wild creature gets close to the base and the turrets attack them, would the tames be triggered to attack too?

If they are in range, yeah. At least for neutral, I always change it from attack my target once tamed.

You can always turn down the tames target range to one.

I switched to ASA and now that I finally have time to play I made a base in the water near the coast, and made a landing platform for my flyers... but now they get attacked all the time by ichthyornis and end up scattering. I wanted to kill those pesky birds from a distance so that they don't bother my tames.

So, I guess I will plant some plant Xs at the edge of the base and when I unlock turrets I will add some.

I understand that pain lol if you can go get you a dung beetle for fertilizer and some plant x's set on the highest target range and set to "attack all"

Place two side by side on each corner of your base and you should be golden, no turrets needed.

Since the platform is mainly on the water, in theory shooting land creatures shouldn't happen often, unless it's something big that for some reason walked a bit far from the coast, like a Rex... which are kind of close since my base is in the north coast near carno island, east side of the river.

hi! is boss explorer notes (holograms) bugged? we are unable to get BROODMOTHER and MEGAPITHECUS hologram explorer note when defeating the bosses (already have DRAGON and OVERSEER no problems there).
is there a specific way we have to kill the boss? does it have to be on specific difficulty? we used rexes for all. does a player character needs to do a killing blow? does it have to die in specific spot? we are out of ideas... tried a few times and cant trigger the explorer note...

400 is super low. 20-23k HP with veggie cake is sufficient for Alpha dragon, but its a DPS race for theri.
I had 1400% dps, 23k hp and 80armour saddles and still barely won alpha with three theris left lol.
Beta would be somewhere around 800% is my guess

mutations only, unless you use some of the tricks like the solo methods people show on youtube (sword trick or Megaloceros trick)
Never had an issue with megapethicus as its pretty easy. Brood can be difficult with those stats

Have a stat stable mating pair (identical stats); have one male and have 10+ females; when an egg/baby has a favorable mutation, if it’s a male, swap it out with the stat-stable male, keep females unmutated; with the new stud, wait for an egg/baby to arrive that has father’s mutation further mutated, (ie. +2 HP becomes +4 HP); rinse and repeat until desired outcome. Past 20 paternal mutations, your mutation chance gets cut in half, unless you do advanced tricks like negative mutations. I’d suggest looking up SeaShells Gaming’s Breeding guide (ASA or ASE, whichever is relevant) as she is extremely thorough and comprehensive and well organized.

so you need to get oil. You get this from oil rock(foun mainly underwater or in snow) or from creatures like trilobite and tek creatures. Once you have oil, put in in the refining forge with hide. This will then make gasoline
