I went into nvidia control panel and forced it to use all settings I chose. And in game put everything to low except maybe shadows and textures. Turned off clouds and I’m loving the ambient occlusion and frame rate. Try that. Instead of bombarding chat

The boot looping is from corrupted tribe files, people figured that out 16 hours ago. All you have to do is shut your server down, back up files, reinstall, restore back up, and delete the corrupted tribe file.

Curious to know what is happening. I used to play official Ark servers previously and there were many many servers. You could join new ones and count on the player count active on a server. Now I can't join any official servers (even ones that show low player count) and they all say full. My friend paid for an unnoficial Nitrado hosted server and his uptime is very low. Nitrado told him to get it back working would have to wipe which was done but back down again.

This case is extremely different and was forced on them. I still respect WildCard but lost all respect for those responsible for this early release. WildCard seems to genuinely be trying to do what it can for its community to make their product worth the money and even discounted it.

My point was that I think that the game will have so many more bugs resolved by the end of next year that it wouldn't have been able to catch with their smaller closed beta testing

Like I said, because it's out now they have tens of thousands of people running it and finding every possible bug out there doing all sorts of dumb stuff trying to break their game. Cyberpunk did the right thing and looked into all of it and fixed what they could and even made brand new content. WildCard already promised that they have the exact same plan and it's not unlikely that many of these issues are somewhat easy to resolve. I genuinely think even by the end of THIS year that the game is gonna be pretty solid.

Fr just really proud of these devs for even releasing as many patches as they have within the first day. It’s insane the work they’ve got to put in to make such quick work. The company is amazing, but their partners screwed them over forcing deadlines that if not met meant worse things for the community.

@silent matrix respectfully it’s a next gen title. If you don’t have one of the top 5 cards currently released then the game wasn’t designed for you to run too well. This is what we have to accept when developers are willing to create games using all their tools to make the best possible game. It’s not the most accessible but it’s surely a display of how good games can be. There’ll be a day where this is considered outdated and even a 4090 will struggle to run some new games on medium in maybe 5 years. Either devs can released a game that is simplified to run on older hardware or they can say fuck it and steamroll to the next generation of gaming and focusing on moving forward at the cost of having more consumers who can access it. There’s need for both sides and WildCard chose to steamroll ahead.

Lighting and water physics are entirely GPU processes lol what. Rendering the textures of all these dinos is GPU processing. This is entirely a GPU intensive game. There are clearly some issues to be dealt with, but 100% this game is running pretty well considering it's nearly a tech demo with all the tools they're using to make it looks as nice as it does and still be playable at all. Bro give console singleplayer so we can work on our builds and stuff to we want to learn the new ark too so pc doesnt get an edge over console it’s completely umfair we should be aloud singleplayer until multiplayer gets fixed it will also alow you to start working on the issues that will come to console earlier than later . This is all around unfair because we were told from the beginning that noone would be playing before anyone else . They blatantly lied and i think console deserves more than what we have been getting . I think its bs and we console players need to stand up for ourselfs or they will throw us on the back burner till late november
