I did too, I used to use trikes instead of stegos early on and even post tlc, then I started using them a year ago and they'rejust amazing early on. Great wood farming for pre-wood dino, great thatch farming, amazing berry farming pre bronto.

I have a speculation that dinos and traps are going to see a major change. Pretty sure they said they're reworking dino pathing. And if you think about it, if a dino is walking into your trap, its AI might go "Oh, thats a dead end, walk around."

Exception being picking up dinos, but pretty sure this is disabled on official. Unofficials may not have to worry much about this.

raptors are fine when rates are low, you're not holding much, they aren't harvesting much. Alone, they're just fast early game mounts. In a properly bred pack, they're pretty strong. Strong as say something bigger? No, strong as direwolves? No, but much easier to tame than both of those
