Theri are faster and smaller, so for bosses they are easier to get ready, and they can all hit it at the same time very easily.

I definitely prefer faster rates on non dedi. Dedicated is preferable imo because it opens up a lot of extra time management being able to have timers going while you’re offline. Higher rates in breeding tend to ruin the system as well. If the egg hatch speed, maturation, and imprint timers are all so low that it requires you to remain at base while breeding it turns into an afk sim. Breeding is best when you have time in between cycles to go out and handle other activities.

If you’re mutation stacking it makes identifying new mutes much easier. But it can’t just be identical level. They have to have identical base stat distribution which means they’ll be the same level. It’s very much possible to have 2 tames at the same level with different stats even if they’re from the same parents.

i think LI has it beat. i love the tropeo and CI is pretty, but there's really not a lot of pristine base locations, there's no true caves, and for the longest time the floating islands were bugged where there would be patches of invisible water that would knock you off your flyer above the ocean

argy is good for carrying lots of stuff and having good attack, amd can carry doed and anky. tapejara can strafe and gets a tek saddle with a gun and has good stamina

that raptor is the highest level among whatever raptors you have. it gives it a slight buff and can give a call that buffs the pack

If you're gunning for Alpha King you have to fight all his lesser variants because his own head is always a tribute requirement, on top of the mini titans. gotta kill the same three bosses a minimum of three times each, and that's just to do it all once, and each kill requires 100 hearts etc etc...

i slaughtered a couple of baby gigas to initiate the carchar taming, but if you are on pve, you need to kill wild dinos in order for the taming bar to go up (you cant hurt your own tamed dinos with the carchar when you ride it sadly)
And you can drag any corpse, as long as your inventory weight is higher than the dinos drag weight 🙂 (theres a list on the wiki, i think giga has like 950 or so )

so basically you can slaughter baby dinos of high level (otherwise you need to feed it multiple corpses / drag multiple corpses to it) to start the taming process.
But once you mount it, after feeding it the corpse, you have to kill wild dinos on pve, and wild or tamed dinos on pvp

You can look to see if you can find the character files. If they are there (named by your steam id's) you can unlink one of the servers, download the characters onto it, then link it back up. If the character files are not there they I guess start from scratch

we went to ob, hit upload chars, and it had us create a new char. Did that then went to new map, download had nothing. Realized I probably had a setting incorrect and restarted both servers to make sure they were making.
Loaded back up and we now get the transfer to another ark option, try to download our original chars and they aren't there.

At this point I am trying to figure out where they get moved to when they are uploaded

with mods yes, with ini sorta (they can have issues).
most of the paid DLC dinos are on the free maps so its just between the maps themselves.

since they are only bought in bundles its just whichever you want. genesis has a lot of unique stuff on the maps (including event items in HLNA's shop) and ab and ext have a lot in map uniqueness
