Did a three Alpha bosses + Alpha ascension on island yesterday with a bunch of people from my server. I was riding on my Ferox. It was the best fun I have had in a boss.
A few notes:

• Ranged attack is incredible.
• DPS was probably the highest out of all creatures
• ability to jump attack helped against drones in overseer (as well as the rock throw).
• Can turn on the spot, so very maneuverable
• Can eat veggie cakes to heal (as it's a veggie eater), so dragon fire was negated, and he was never at risk of dying.
• had about 7 sets of ascendant flak armor helmets to wear (all with cute skins) so was heavily armoured the entire time.

Loot crates won't despawn unless someone grabs them, they aren't the same as supply drops. There isn't a setting that affects loot drop spawning, it's just an issue on SP and ND. You can try running ark with the launch parameter -preventhibernation, and see if that helps, but I don't know for sure how to make them spawn.

You'll likely need more than one unless you're using mods that change it. General rule of thumb is anywhere between 10-14 air conditioners. AC units change temp on their own, as a user said after your question it's just ark magic.

You can place wires on the floor or even in the air, they need to be connected to the generator and you need an outlet connected at the end. One outlet can power all of your air conditioners.

I actually reccomend breeding 7-8 clean females (aka females with best stats) all of the females must have identical stats and breed with an identical stat male, until you get a mutation in the stat you want. Make sure that mutated baby is male, rebreed that mutated male to your clean females. And you'll just look for males with your stacking mutation and rebreed into the original female group ^^ I got all of my best wild stats plus 40 mutations. That was the shadowmane you saw @vernal cipher. I bred 7 best stat shadowmanes (only low stat i wanted was oxygen) and got them onto one female and male, Then bred those two together to make a bunch of female clones.

Took me about 4 days to get rolling, finished the 40 mutations in 3 days

But in the end I had in total 75 clean stat females breeding to my mutated male

just breed more clones while you wait for your mutated baby to grow

if you have to fight it, keep it away from the water so it can' tget the hydration buff, mostly for speed. Hop on trike, time your hits so each hit is a knockback. Trike can take most creatures on the Island without actually getting hit.

they all suck in their own way :)

swamp cave is dark af, and filled with megalosaurus and bats and megalania

jungle cave is filled with bats and bugs and requires some precise jumping on foot

and has a golem boss

ice cave is cold af, and you'll have ice worms attacking you (death worms but ice) and the boss is the queen worm

desert cave sucks most. lots of platforming and route memorization, and requires you sacrifice someone or a dino to progress

ice and desert you more than likely need to bring someone with you
