Depends on reason for use. Thyla is a great tame for the simple reason it has a nasty bite. Its quick. Can carry gd amount and can climb too making it handy tame. I used to live on my thyla on gen1

Aberrant/X/R creatures all have slightly less HP and slightly more damage than their vanilla counterparts. It technically exists but pretty much just choose whichever of the three you think looks neatest honestly

When tamed, variant creatures all have the same stat change- something like -5% HP and +3% damage. This is so incredibly minor that it isn't really worth considering

Other than that the only difference between dinosaur variants is aesthetic, and some aberrant species can go in radiation

Hi I have a problem I am trying to transfer an ark save from one pc to another, I copied the \steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved file from the old pc to the new one and deleted the current \steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved from the new computer. I was told that this would transfer progress successfully. Ark on the new pc was unupdated, so I updated it but the update is stuck on 100%. I have tried various methods to get it to be unstuck except for uninstalling as it is a big game. Could this problem be related to me messing with the save files?

Like, fandom is not allowed, so itll send a message with your username saying "your message has been removed because links are not allowed" becauseit is not the official wiki, but the ark.wiki.gg is able to be shared since it's official.

Depends what you are looking for, what kind of map, what kind of creature. what kind of rates. Offical is hard work, takes alot of time. Non official, often have mods, and much higher rates, meaning more harvest items, better exp, and better dino raising time.

Official will likely be stacked, as the game has been out a very long time. I suggest you filter unofficial and try ragnorok its a mash up of the best parts of original maps, is big and lots of dinos/biomes.

This is just my suggestion.

Lost Island is still very new, I wouldn't doubt crashing be an issue. If it was on PC I would say to verify your files but On ps4 I would just say there is a loading issue either from the map, the server, your console, or your internet. But if it is the same location, I would assume it is a console or server issue. Something can't be loaded and is causing a crash. This is my guess, sorry I can't tell you for sure.
