I avoid troughs because if you fill it after a dino is out you have to interact with the dinos inventory to get it to eat from the trough. Or you have to cryo and retoss everything. If I have to interact with the inventory anyway it's easy to just put the food in directly.

The only fix I’ve found is downloading to an NA and repeatedly trying to transfer to the server you wanted to go to.
