the blessing is good too
everything is perfect except the model
agri is still best infantry
columnus damage is a little low
I see
Im looking to understand how toughness works, looking for current information. Also trying to figure out how "Toughness Damage Resistance" comes into effect. Anyone know of any guides or anything? Googling is bringing up old info that helped, but may not be correct at this point.
what does specialist mean
Hi everyone, ive got a question about rending. Obv. it should help against armored enemies but i coulndt find a good answer for unarmored/unyielding enemies. i was wondering if ruthless backstab would make a significant difference on monstrosities or even unarmored enemies
This youtube video helped me understand rending. Bottom line, it wont help you do much more damage to something you already deal full damage to (unarmored) https://youtu.be/fIxOjj28cuE?si=taQVslERgIWsKq7L
it's a lot simpler now but it breaks the game a little (a lot)
Fair warning, there is math.
Do note however, that Rending is now capped at 100%
So having Rending applied to enemies you already dealt full damage towards wont give you extra damage anymore.
Has anything ever been said about resource economy changes? I find myself swimming in Diamantine and always low on Plasteel, because even tho you tend to find more Plasteel it is also used a lot more frequently for upgrades. It's no dealbreaker by any means but it feels weird and counterintuitive to always be starved for the easy-to-get base material while having a huge bank of rare high-quality material
Even just having stuff like Re-Bless or the last level of consecrate cost more Diamantine than they do Plasteel would help
Also on the same page, do higher difficuly mission drop more resources or is it fine to stick to low threat when you're just trying to farm materials?
I havent seen anything about it officially, but yes there is never enough plasteel :(. Also, higher difficulty will give you more resources. go as high as you can manage.
They do have higher spawn rates
Although it caps at damnation, so you don't have to play auric
Thanks both of you
which mod helps to see all bars with number and stats ?
healthbar mod
Toughness is a percentage shield. All ranged damage removes toughness first, but a percentage of melee damage goes thru toughness.
How much? It’s based on how much missing toughness you have. For example, if you are on 90/100 Toughness, a melee attack that would do 10 damage does 9 damage to your Toughness and one damage to your HP.
I love meth math
so i have been wondering this for a while but what is the ideal method to farm out blessings? just grab a weapon with it if i see it in the armory, or buy a specific weapon from brunt's and upgrade it to blue?
does auric dam quickplay give more rewards than regular quickplay on dam?
Does % damage against flak count only when hitting flak armor or any enemy that has flak armor somewhere, cause alot of enemies seem to be under the flak category
arite so it's the damage type that shows up in psykanium when hitting the part that counts then I assume?
Yes. Gameslantern has a full part guide
arity thank you :)
Are higher marks of the same weapon just straight up better? Wondering whether to get a Mk III or a Mk VI power sword on my vet
what are the desired stats and perks on curios for veteran ?
No, they’re just a tradeoff between horizontal/vertical strikes, or fire rate vs damage per shot
Question, which perk should i change for flak or unarmored:
1.5 stam to 25 flak
as good as a columnus is going to get
based
hey guys, do you know what a yellow exclamation mark is?
Something changed on that curio. Due to last balance ptch
If I extract a t4 blessing, do I get that blessing for all weapons going forward or just that one subtype?
Just the “weapon family”. For example, all three flavors of Recon Lasgun, but not the Infantry Lasgun
That one weapon type
For Melk contracts, "Kill 1000 Scab with ranged"
Does Smite and other kinds of blitz count for that?
this gun looking like its worth rolling on?
are you guys using vortex to install mods in darktide?
nexusmods darktide mod framework
first perk isn't ideal, pass
You can but its really not necessary and the framework is a manual install anyway
hey my entire desktop sound just disappears as soon as i join a match somehow anyone know why that could happen?
is there a way to spam heavy attacks without long press mouse buttons? like bind heavy attack on certain key?
then you'll have to long press that key
Okay so there isn't really a tech help chat, but I'm running into an issue where my audio becomes garbled during hordes, especially when multiple specials and elites are involved, but after clipping the bug when it occurs, the issue isn't present on the playback of the video clip. What am I supposed to do?
Hello. Is there any guide of how to setup the game to turn everything unnecessary to improve performance and decrease load on the system?
Auric can be one of many modifiers, so it depends. Hi-Intensity Gauntlet 4 would be harder than Normal 5, but Hound 4 would be probably be easier than Normal 5.
Hiya peeps, I've tried to click on the menu to get the premium cosmetics currency but just get a (seemingly) infinite loading spin, is there any sort of work around or have I been drip filtered?
There isn't a strictly increasing scale.
Auric is simply a category that guarantees high difficulty modifiers. It's separate from the base difficulty levels of damnation and heresy etc.
Can't say I've heard of this problem before, sorry.
Skill issue ig
Sounds like it could be a hardware issue with your speakers or headphones then since you're not hearing it on playback? It might be noted in the bugs or technical issues section of the Darktide forum.
where can I read up what auric level does to monsters hp/dmg?
is 4heresy level the same difficulty as nonauric heresy?
in terms of monster health
My headphones are new is the only problem, and I haven’t encountered any issues with them prior
All auric does is make the mission hi intensity + 1 or more additional modifiers, heresy enemies have heresy health
can I see some graphic on that?
Auric has no effect on the hp/damage of enemies.
High Intensity as a modifier for example only adjusts the spawn patterns to be more frequent, last longer, and have more enemies.
Enemy health and damage is determined by difficulty level i.e. Uprising, Sedition, Malice, Heresy, Damnation
Does the toughness replenished by Vicious Offering stack on top of the base toughness recovered on kill, or does it replace it with it's higher value?
It's 7.5% of your total toughness.
That is added to the base amount you earn on kill if I remember correctly.
Is this any good?
Infernus to deadly accurate?
correct
Thanks
Well you need to switch both of those blessings
One saving grace on the perks side is the Unyielding perk.
Two questions
- Is there a point to killing daemonhosts? Does it have a hidden roll to emperor rewards at the end?
- Other than challenge, what is Auric good for?
- No
what are the symbols for of the attack?
- More dockets and experience
On xbox there is no prestige xp so, what's the point?
30 seems to be the hard stop
no one knows xd
It's FS
On pc at least we can just install the Truelevel mod to see our actual level past 30
I personally dont use the mod however so I still see only 30
it's the same game as the PC it's even crossplay.
there can't be something missing
oh mods
I can't see damage numbers.
how can 30 be the limit
30 is the limit, you stop getting xp passed it.
why does the atta ks of weapons have these symbols and if you view details it will have like three or two
this game doesn't explain shit
I just got lvl 30 on all 4 classes and I am trying to figure out why I should try auric. Teams keep failing and I just feel like farming malice/heresy would be easier.
And more rewarding*
I'm on game help dude
Click the message and it send you to a specific message
Which explain the stuff
Or open the pins
it's so low res I can't read it
I get the feeling Auric is specifically for groups who want something like "The ultimate challenge" a way for experienced players to try the hardest of missions
It's purely meant for tryhards
And I mean that in the good sense
People who go really hard into improving as a player, not whiny crybabies who rage and blame team for everything bad that happens
Also quick question, anyone have any idea of what a "Flash" mission is? I saw it on the "Mission" subsection of penances but never see it on the mission board
Thats the funny thing.
Damnation is easier than heresy for farming, because good players mostly play it.
I personally think what heresy should be default hard farming mode, and damnation merged with auric whatever, but we have what we have.
what does grimore do?
Unreleased, unfinished mission
It gives you corruption over time
Any hope it will get added in the future?
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Shame
what's that?
Purple bar.
when you finish a mission it always looks frozen on that screen with the players for a little while
what's corruption over time?
Yes. It might be asking you "Merge Strike Teams?"
where does or when does the game explain this stuff?
That's the neat part, it doesn't
it gives me achievements for completing trust factor but how do you know what the chapters are the missions are just floating around the screen with expire time bars
the rating of weapons seems like it doesn't indicate that it's better
what's a warp attack?
that anything that gives you the % number
Warp Attack?
Peril Quell?
basically yeah
what's Peril?
the number on your screen that goes up when you use your staff/blitz/force sword special
soulblaze (blue fire damage-over-time) also counts as a warp attack
ok that makes sense thanks
soulblaze isn't Peril
warp causes Peril to go up
but what's soulblaze
oh I see it!!!
CLASS TALENTS
Ability, Blitz, Aura, Passive
oh this game is neat
ye
soulblaze is this fire effect applied by some talents and the Purgatus staff (and other staffs if you have the Blazing Spirit blessing)
I wonder what a Specialist enemy is?
ctrl + F for 'specialist' on this page and you'll see which ones count as specialists https://darktide.gameslantern.com/enemies
oh thank you
the Gain Toughness Damage Reduction of +10 to +33 based on current Peril.
do you think that means you get more reduction the higher or lower your Peril is?
you get more damage reduction the higher your peril is
damn is the description really that bad
Yes, Quickpaw said it's still in the plans
no I'm just a slow geek
i do think that the descriptions could be improved
you may or may not run into other examples of fatshark description-itis in the future
you can't zig zag over to Scrier's Gaze if you've chosen Kinetic Presence.
you can't go upward on the tree
This seems to me like a pretty insane roll, what would you swap? (I use this on a Vet build that's basically built for melee)
I wonder why they won't let you have those skills together?
Is there a tier 4 blessing equivilant for it?
Build restriction, forcing you to chose
There's dev strike 4, but at that point you're going overboard on cleave
oh it's because Kinetic Presence does +5% to Elites & Specials
and then Scrier's Gaze does a lot of damage as well.
Rampage and shred are two nice blessings for chainsword, depending on your build
what do you think
+50% Dodge Duration does?
basically I've gone voice of command combined with full mellee skills, lots of bleed and crit procs etc
It currently doesnt work
Based
Would you swap either of the modifiers?
doesn't work?
I could swear my knife was having nutty dodges, but maybe it's just knife
I thought Dodge was just a quick little thing that is you dodge and that's it.
what would 50+% duration do?
Im guessing it increases your 'dodge' state for about 1-2 seconds longer afaik
so you have a few extra second or seconds to be still in your 'dodge' state, therefore allowing you to negate any incoming damage.
"Weakspot Kills count as 1s spent in Scrier's Gaze."
? does thatean it extends the Gaze time, or reduces it?
that's how I imagined it.
that seems useful
Yeah "Dodge duration" sounds like extra I-frames to me
Scrier's Gaze is 30s cool down.
so... a weakspot kill for only 1s more seems like not very much of anything
It gives an extra second of stacks
It's unrelated to the cooldown
Gaze itself has no duration
no Gaze is 30s
it lasts until your peril hits 100%
your Peril goes up for 30s
so Gaze does have durstion
you can keep it past 30 seconds but it will be highly impractical to do so
which is 30s
it says at the bottom
"Base Cooldown 30s"
that's the cooldown
oh is Cooldown how long till you can use it again
ye
it says the Peril build up is temporarily slowed down by enemy kills
ok what the.. what is
"Finesse Damage"? lol
oh.. I'm sorry guys
I googled some stuff.. this isn't as complicated as it looked
that guide about attacks is for PC
is special attack left trigger?
Blitz Attack?
Finesse is crit and headshot damage
your grenade. Psykers don't get grenades, they get other skills, but they're still called "blitz"
Special is the special action the weapon does, like the knife punch or chainsword rev
is there a way to remove Wargear Sets?
I have 5
oh thank you
Right click on one of the loadout icons
Peril Quelled vs Peril Generated
what's the difference?
simplest explanation is quelling peril is you removing your peril, and generating peril is you adding up to it.
"while below critical Peril"
what is critical Peril?
97
why are there exclamation marks on the talent tree when there isn't anything I can do that makes them go away?
Fatshark
how many maps are there?
how can you tell the order of levels.
they just keep changing?
but I get achievements for finishing chapters so there must be an order
You cant really go wrong with 3x toughness or 2x toughness and 1 hp for each class
and perks are gunner resist, hp/toughness and whatever you wish to keep, or what youre willing to have locked
its rotational
tried to search google with no luck, can anyone tell me what this 5/5 thing is for on the character select screen?
Wounds not worth?
contracts that you finished on this certain character
we dont really recommend wound curios unless you want to optimize Zealot martyrdom builds
thank you so much Mail!
you are welcome
Is it possible to do Auric missions on Damnation only without waiting for the lower difficulty rotations?
What do you mean by "waiting for the lower difficulty rotations"?
You just queue quickplay damnation
If you queue for Auric Damnation missions, you will only be sent into Auric Damnation missions on that mission board section.
Quickplay damnation is kind of too easy. I'd like to queue for Auric damnation all the time but most of the time when I get to the mission terminal all I see is Auric Heresy and lower
Question is, is there a way to avoid the Auric timer while waiting for Damnation difficulty to pop on the board again?
Oh, I am an idiot. It seems i only did Standard Maelstorm and I thought it was an Auric one
🫵
Yep
DarkTide crashed to the dashboard; I was modding weapons
with the Penances what are Thresholds?
is there anything you can do in the hub?
like can you chat with others?
I can open my Chat, type in it but cant send something, why
Vermintide 2 also
it's a bug that happens to me usually when i get disconnected and whatnot
fixes itself on restart
don't know of any other solution though
any good?
I like V2 but kind of only now because I like DarkTide.
I used to try V2 and I just couldn't get it.
swing swing swing, rats rats swing
the combat felt like it wasn't connecting
I need help doing the dead eye penance for the upper body
If you don't see this, restart your game
Any advice for what class to play on the harder difficulties? My build probably sucks but I’m lvl 26 zerker and 25 psycher and still feels like I just get melted/don’t cut it
I feel like all classes are pretty viable, just play malice/heresy till 30 then try to roll some weapons and gear before going into damnation
find a class build weapon combo that fits your play style, ranged dps sniping elites and specials, horde clear, tank, cc psyker or something
Psyker is probably my favorite but I keep getting full orgryn lobbies and they seem to do a lot better than me lol. I die really fast while their fine with the hordes
Brain rupture right click just altogether stops working after you use shriek with kinetic resonance. Anyone else experience this?
All classes are equally viable and survivability comes down more to your situational awareness and skill rather than merely what build you're running. If you feel like you're being pushed in at your current level of difficulty, my recommendation would be to go down a level and play missions until you can consistently get through 90% if not 100% of all encounters without taking any health damage.
The same techniques and knowledge apply at higher difficulties, there's just much less forgiveness if you get hit. So learning how to manage things like spacing, target priority, and dodging will help you not go down during hordes.
You may always want to look at what weapons you're using and see if their moveset is suited to addressing what you have the most problems with.
Some melee weapons have movesets more suited to crowd control and hordes than others.
You can ask the respective class chats like #psyker-class or #zealot-class about survivability builds if you want to give yourself more breathing room via the talent tree.
coding
after doing some testing myself, it still works if you hold both m1 and m2
but
i stopped gaining peril
like, long after my F buff ended
wtf
oh
EP now gives 100% reduction
honestly that's a nerf
it should be halved or 75%
actual spaghetti code at its finest
yeah I suspect that has something to do with it
for both venting bonuses and also warp rider bonus
It happens without EP actually. It’s confined to the “Kinetic Resonance” talent for Brain Rupture
what blessings do you want on MK4 Devil's Claw ?
Rampage 4 + Savage Sweep 4 [3 is still fine] / Shred 4
Run it with the ult cooldown refund on crit talent if you are Zealot and you will have your ult every 4 seconds
Are these blessings good ?
no
what are the ideal blessings ?
literally scroll a few messages up
oof my bad
generally, psyker isnt the best at melee
you'll want to hang back and support the team in hordes with your staffs and skills
you can absolutely melee as him though, but your lower health pool makes it a challenge
that and you're comparing yourself to the tanks of darktide
Light them up sparkead'
kinda wish one of the keystones for psyker was unchained's mechanics
could easily change the marked enemies one to that
higher peril = higher stats, health dmg taken is mitigated and shared with peril
what's the difference between all the Lucius helbore weapons? like for model's 1, 2 and 3 what makes them unique to each other?
fire/charge rate and damage mostly
which has the most damage?
3 is the slowest but does the most damage iirc whilst 1 is the fast without much damage per shot
so Mk 2 is the middle ground between the 1 and 3?
or the fast one might've been 2, anyways the big shot is 3
aayt thanks
np
Keep or Dismantle? Would be using it for Sly Marbo.
I dunno, that’s kinda hilarious build. If you take Suppression Immunity in your class build, you’re kinda just saying no to lots of game mechanics
If only Run&Gun let you reload while sprinting
Why aren't there pox bursters in the meat grinder?
#justFatSharkthings
if i surrender a blessing from a Mk 2 Lucius gun, do i get to use the blessing on the Mk 2 varinats only or to all lucius guns?
It's weird that sometimes my uncharged plasma gun shot will knockdown a pox burster, sometimes it doesn't
All helbore lasguns
Headshot maybe?
I'll keep it and just switch those 2 blessings
Most fitting blessings for it is Deathspitter and Fire Frenzy/Dumdum
Interesting I did get recommended these blessings but I will keep an eye out for the others
What should I change for this dueling sword now that the rampage blessing is good?
Mark 4 pairs well with crit chance blessings actually
so you only need to change that Unyielding for flak or maniac
a question, people can see Disrupt Destiny outline?
youre already doing full damage against Unyielding
I dont think so
damn... thanks
Confirmed no
That's one reason why Disrupt Destiny is bad
Alongside the fact that it's bugged and that you lose all charges at once
hi people, stuck on this one for a while, what does the blessing "Supercharge" actually do? it says plus 4 rending but is that a percentage or something?
other rending blessings seem to have a percentage but theres no amount on this one, just +4
it gives brittlneness on attacks to a target that is hit
iirc +4 rending is 8 brittleness stacks applied
1 stack is 2.5%. Which gives a total of 20% rending at full stacks
benefitting you and the whole team
so if i hit an enemy with the power sword charged attack with this blessing, the whole team does 20% damage to that enemy through their armour?
Uh no rending does not apply brittleness. Rending is a buff that applies only to one person and brittleness is a debuff that applies to enemies
its weird cause the other rending blessings like handcannon and ruthless backstab etc are x% rending rather than just a flat number, very confusing
Clamp to 16 stacks of 2.5% each, max capping to old 40% on each instance of buff (player/target) for a sum “normal” cap of 80%.
^from patch 13 notes on rending
Brittleness
CORRECTION: Supercharge gives you up to 16 stacks of brittleness
totaling a 40% Rending applied, benefitting the whole team
I never claimed anything about the blessing in general, just clarifying rending vs brittleness
easiest distinction is if its a flat percentage rending. Its a self buff and ONLY applies to you. Hand cannon and Ruthless Backstab is a self buff
Brittleness isnt a self buff however, its a reductive effect against enemies, and its benefits the whole team
so supercharge and thunderous are roughly the same blessing?
except thunderous is on any hit
I see, thank you guys so much, this confused me so much trying to find blessings for the sword XD
Supercharge is a meh blessing and besides having a use case against tanky enemies like Plague Ogryn and other monstrosities
You want Power Cycler and Rampage/Brutal Momentum instead
is slaughterer not recommended anymore?
Slaughterer is what Wrath is to Savage Sweep
Rampage is currently bugged right now, it applies the normal POWER increase.
Which if you havent already know, the in game tool tip is a LIE.
Rampage applies both the power increase AND the old damage buff pre Patch 13
slaught is ok, but BM is so much better
it seems i will need to change over my old powersword XD
so with Rampage you get a 100% damage increase, with the normal 36% increase to stagger and cleave
On the other hand, you might not want to get Rampage, no get accustomed to it, and suffer from the fix when it'll come out (eventually)
Its still a 36% power increase vs Slaughterer's 40% increase at max stacks
a 4% difference
but this is assuming Rampage's power increase itself isnt going to get nerfed
and they will only fix the Rampage bug
36% activated instantly in a horde is worth the trade by the sounds of it. If rampage gets changed to just damage then slaughterer will be better?
their needs to be a codex or something in game describing what power, rending and brittleness etc do lol
Thing is
That's what I was talking about, yes
the old Slaughterer was iirc a 50% power increase?
and old Rampage was fucking 17.5% damage increase
the gap is just too big that Slaughterer is just BiS before patch 13
I have an actual idea of what im doing now XD thanks people, saved me alot of resources too lol
Is there a way to fix square names and chat?
if you're playing with chinese that's just how the names come
Because darktide doesn't translate their cn names outside of the boxes
There is a mod called Show CJK Glyphs however if you wish to see the characters
It was way too strong on shredder and bolter
so they gutted it to bring it in line with other weapons
Yeah but nerf it to 50 at least
Because 100 percent was dumb
25 is a death blow
Even 50 is more than the vast majority of blessings
It should be a T3 blessing
Shredder pistol is still good and still can run pinning
Its worse than blaze away
I don't like it either I was using bolter with heavysword and shredder with thunderhammer so the pf nerf killed both of my main builds
but you gotta move on

I spent over 60k plasteel farming for it on shredder and bolter
'get fucked kid'
Yeah
-fatshark, probably
Both weps are still good on patch 14, you can keep using them
They need to give compensation
I only play maelstrom nowadays
Yes
I just moved on to devil's claw which is fucking broken baby woo
They feel very very weak at that difficulty
You can 1 mag a monstro with bolter on vet lol
Yes that sword makes hordes into graves
there are still kant shotty, agri brauto and flamer for the ranged options, but I'll definitely not play bolter in maelstrom anymore yeah
Really?
Yes
Maybe if u score all headshots
Hmm i havent used it since the last patch
Sec
Ive only used plasmagun
That weapon is the god emperor's wrath itself
Shoots through hordes like a hot knife through butter
Onemag
Plasma is easier to use but the monstro dps on it suggs hard
Better for specialist sniping though
Hmmm it seems u speak the truth
The reload speed is still too slow and the mag size is too low tbh
If i wanted to deal with monstrosities id play zealot hammer
Plasma is just a lot easier to use since you just spam left click and have tons of cleave
Yes
But if you really like Bolter the dmg is still there
It is
Thats never been its biggest weakness
Its weakness is how clunky and slow it is
Pinning is still bis on it btw
Ye i still have my old setup
Cavalcade + pinning fire
Surgical
Treat the Bolter as more a heavy hitting DMR now
and Cavalcade incentivizes you magdumping enemies
Which is more consistent or better on CAxes, headtaker or decimator?
headtaker
is the max base stat roll still 400 on weapons? I not seen one since I got back into the game 2 weeks ago.
380
ty
also curious does doing higher level missions, and more modifiers affect the quality of items you get for missions or are you just as likely to get better items buying?\
we dont really rely on emp's gifts to get better weapons
I think yeah higher difficulties gives better rewards
and youre correct, you get better items from buying from Brunt
and NEVER buy anything from Melk's mystery slots
What perks do I run on this?
Does Terrifying Barrage trigger sleeping Daemonhost?
RIP that sword
Yeah it has happened to me
25 Flak 25 Maniac
Also applicable for 90% of melee weapons
with very few exceptions
I.e thunderhammer wants 25 Unyield 25 Maniac/Cara
But pick any 5 weapons and 4 will want 25 Flak/Maniac
Thanks
It’s good on the right team comp though generally you only need one person with it
Two people is a little redundant
And in my opinion it’s best to use with a quick weapon like a knife or Taxe
anyone know how fixe that error out of memory ????
only ever game i get that error and i did alrdy scan my memory in windows
What’s the best class for just straight melee?
Zealot
zealot
Zealot, but followed very close by Ogryn
and in some instances Ogryn is superior
if a situation is unstable but not doomed yet, ogryn can very quickly correct the imbalance faster than zelly, but when things are truly doomed zealot has the best chances of pulling it back from the brink with almost 0 resources and mainly melee
Should I lose Slaughterer or Rampage for Power Cycler here?
On another note: I've heard that Rampage is bugged right now and more effective than it probably should be. Is that true?
Considering your rampage is tier 4, I'd replace slaughterer.
Yes.
Anybody got some tips on how to do the Just a flesh wound penance?
Magistrati oubliette low intensity heresy or damnation
stand in a fire at the start of game to go to sub 50% HP
Do not wait behind cover: charge gunner lines to pull them into melee
ignore mat pickups
Hold down W
"Play zealot, but do it at less than 50% health"
If I'm trying to get the 90% accuracy Penance on Veteran (but don't wanna play with quick play randoms) would I want to mention that in a lfg_nasa posting?
Feel that could be a mild hindrance to team
Do we know how the dagger blessing Executor works even if it weren't bugged with DoTS?
Does it work like the other % Power perks
Or does the word Level in power level mean it works differently?
I just raw dogged it in quickplay running a melee vet with a plasma gun. I didn’t dump all the ammo at the start and instead just used it when I was sure I was gonna hit something
Yeah I've been having issues lmao. I think I'll have a clean shot and then someone else just krumps the guy
I'm also doing plasma gun for now
Plasma into horde and bosses is your best bet
That or roll at brunt’s until you get something that is single shot with abysmal ammo
My current has one spare cell basically
On overwatch was the worst one for me, managed to get it with infiltrate with two charges and the threat reduction modifiers. Though I only completed it when I realised toughness was not, in fact, a perfect shield
I was lucky on that one and had a friend watch my back for a mission or two, knocked it out somewhat quickly
It's just this last one I'm having trouble with
As long as you fire at things you’re absolutely sure you’ll hit like hordes and a beast of nurgle lumbering towards you you’ll get it done in no time
Heck, you could use a low ammo profane stub revolver. Not like you need to kill what you hit
That's true yeah
I'll try a few more with plasma and if I'm still getting skill checked I'll try the revolver strat
Thanks for the tips/ encouragement!
I don't believe you can have repeat contracts.
Am fervently hoping you can obtain one with more than 40% damage, ouch
But yeah, they're a super fun weapon
melt elites for days
is there a way to turn off none important dialogue?
One day lmao
There should be a setting in audio to turn off crit sounds
Weird, I thought headshot affected crits too. If it doesn’t though, that’s my bad, my apologies.
Rip out the blessing thats a very low blast dmg
Block to flak, perfect strike to brutal momentum
This probably gets asked a lot, but what exactly is rending?
Bonus damage to carapace enemies
Only carapaced enemies?
This explains rending, ctrl-f "Rending has changed a bit": https://www.playdarktide.com/news/patch-13-patch-notes
Does anyone have a fix for the bug where you join an in-progress game and your weapons don't load in / you have no aiming UI?
Your weapons have a base damage value for each attack, and modifiers associated to those attacks for each armor type, those ranging from unarmored to carapace
Basically armor piercing or reducing any armor
Affects all type or armor
Rending will reduce that value by the declared percentage until you're dealing your base damage to that enemy, and then each 4% above that will give you 1% damage towards that armor type
It's also additive, so if you do 20% damage to carapace and have 80% rending, you'll deal 100% damage to carapace
And if you reach 100% rending, you will deal the entire base damage plus 5% because of the remaining 20% divided by 4
do crit increase cleave ?
yes
do you know how much ?
nope
any update on the resupply allies penance getting removed or worked on?
they know
We came out the elevator and the pathway to the right is where the medstation is. And its the only path we came from and the only path we can go into... Is this unavoidable?
1 went ahead and walked hugging the wall but it still woke it...
there is a ledge grab jump to the left of the airlock
not sure its possible with lowest mobility slab shield but everything else is pretty consistent
Yea the corner to the left of the elevator. Its open to the bottom. 1 tried to jump from it but fell and held on the ledge.
To the left of the elevatoe, jump

I think this should be fairly decent if I get another good blessing/perk ?
I don't mind the 66% ammo because of shock trooper
Honestly the two you have are good, so if the other two are trash its nbd. The modifier total is low but having a 35 in mobility means everything else is as good as most higher rating ones
If you like the gun itself you should be able to get it damnation-ready i think
Are they any quality of life mods that peeps recommend running?
Numeric UI is pretty great
And true level if you care to see if other people in your lobby are very experienced or just slightly experienced
What's it do exactly?
Also I don't much care about people's experience so long as they aren't trolling or throwing
Shows hp and ammo in clear numbers for every player in the match
Also effective dodges
it just shows you a rough estimate of what you can expect out of the player
Ah okay, that'd be kinda useful
I suppose that could be handy but I just don't see myself caring all that much
I'm a very casual player so I don't expect all too much from the rest of the team
how do i find which maps have the curruptor
For the achievement? Corruptors are the spiderlike machines with large single eye that show up after you destroy the three growths on three different tentacles
Can't recall the exact names for the maps with those though
Relay Station TRS-150, Silo Cluster 18-66A, Smelter Complex HL17-36, Ascension Riser 31

For my Xbox bros you can fiddle with Stationary Dodge and Always Dodge until you find a setting you like. Toggle “Hold to Crouch” to make for way easier slides. Thank me later
Sorry for the sniffles 😎
if i surrender a blessing from purgatus force staff, is the blessing available to voidstrike and surge force staff or only purgatus?
Only Purgatus
i keep getting the same blessings on my anointed(blue) purgatus staff. Do i need to upgrade it further to get new blessings? im tryna farm
are you level 30 yet
yes
hm then seems like bad luck
damn
What do you do if your numbers indicate they are not good enough to play with you, leave the lobby?
Nah I just know if I can trust them more rushing alone or similar or if I need to try to keep close and give support, just an early indicator. I'd never leave based on some arbitrary face value
Cool, I just got a character to level 30, got scared it was gonna be some elitist hell like Neverwinter became 🙂 Do you get more ability points after L30?
Nothing special like that after 30
Just an extra number next to the base level to see how many overlevels they've got
And that alone rarely means anything, seen worse 30+250 level Vets than 30+2 level Ogryns
Thanks for the info. I will get the other classes levelled up first anyway, more fun for me to develop them than end game stuff with no real point other than better gear to get better gear, or is there more to post L30 play than that?
Can you do penances in private matches?
yes
Any idea how much rending this is in percentage?
its not a self buff but brittleness
max that you can apply with supercharge is 16 stacks
1 stack is 2.5% rending
I know it’s not a self buff, just didn’t know how much since rending is usually in percentages
so it benefits your whole team if you apply brittleness as opposed to actual rending that is a self buff and only applies to you
I don’t think it’s brittleness either, that’s.. brittleness. This is still rending, and it sounds like it’s only on that attack instead of applying it to the enemy
yeah its still technically rending
fatshark just doesnt use their own terminology consistently
Fair enough
I think I’ll have to test the blessing out to get a sure answer, if I can ever roll for it :p
its not the greatest blessing in the power sword's blessing pool when it has Rampage and Brutal Momentum also
Objectively, probably, but I personally have more trouble with armoured enemies than just a whole lot of enemies. It’ll depend on how much rending it truly gives >.>
it caps at 16 stacks
for a total of 40% rending, teamwide benefit
I have Onslaught active in the clip but you can still reach the max cap without Onslaught
Huh, you were right. Guess it really was just fatshark using the wrong words again
Worth it to buy for a Zealot ?
yes
laspistol has next to nothing recoil so you can dump both mobility and stability
What should I try to get/change on it ?
you want Dumdum and Infernus for it for BiS
Raking Fire is fine however if its what you got
your perks are set
Alright ! Thank, better I can do now with actual blessing, will try it soon.
Is it possible to get Surge blessing on blue voidstrike staff? for weeks cant get it
possible yes, likely not really
so i need to craft only legendary staffs to get it?
No, but I would watch Melk for such weapon, and you would have higher chances of getting it on the second blessings (Higher tiers)
Can someone explain to me why bleed and fire isn't good anymore?
They do less damage
what does deathblow and perfect strike do? Whats hit mass ?
basically lets ur weapon hit more enemies in one swing
deathblowalso known as burtal momentum is rly good on axes cause u go from being able to hit one enemy at a time up to like 5 if u swing through there heads
Is there anything I could have done in this situation? I was thrown out of bounds
Was annoying cuz I was the last one left
If you're the last one alive, no. You need to DC and reconnect to get back in bounds. Or get lucky and thrown back in bounds
Unfortunately if you DC as the last one alive the mission will result in a failure
Damn, probably won’t happen again, unless that chaos thing throws me -.-
Every enemy has a hit mass value. This is subtracted from an attack's cleave for each enemy hit. It determines how many enemies get hit with an attack.
Ignoring hit mass means their hit mass isn't subtracted from an attack's cleave value.
whats cleave damage distribution?
This any good?
So I was wondering do certain blessings only show up in the first or second slot or can it be any? I didn't get a blessing i wanted for my knife so I was just gonna buy a bunch and upgrade till it popped up.
whats the best set up to get "Don't stop me now!" penance for ogryn
The chances of getting higher tier blessings is based on the base rating of the weapon.
And anecdotally at least, the higher the rarity you are consecrating to the better the chances of a higher tier blessing.
Apologies if this has been asked before: the Shattering Impact blessing on the Plasma Cannon says "Target receives X stacks of Britleness on direct projectile hit, lasts 5 seconds"
The plasma cannon projectile cleaves through like, a million dudes. Do they all get brittleness? Or only the first one? And how high does this blessing stack in 5s ?
I've only ever gotten a tier 4 blessing when consecrating to blue twice. It's possible, but very rare.
I'd be fine with tier 3 I'm just aiming for a specific one
Then it depends, since the blessings have some kind of weight system for the likelihood of showing up. But there's nothing players can do to influence it.
I believe every single target the shot cleaves through counts as being hit, meaning they also receive the brittleness stacks.
As for your second question, it stacks to X and that lasts for 5 seconds.
so tier IV is basically a "I debuff every enemy in this corridor to take 20% more armor piercing?"
that seems really powerful.
As I recall, brittleness is just a form of rending that other teammates can take advantage of when dealing damage to a target. This is mitigated somewhat by the fact that crushers, bulwarks, etc. larger targets with armor have higher hit mass and thus you won't cleave through as many of them.
Well that's my question do I aim to upgrade every knife to gold for the blessing or am I fine to just roll blues?
Brittleness on the poxwalkers/groaners you are able to cleave through isn't essential as weaker enemies will die in a couple hits already before brittleness.
As far as I can tell Plasma cleaves through everything forever
With mods that spawn enemies in the grinder for you, I think crushers have a hit mass of 50? I don't recall but I do know the plasma gun is not cleaving through a line of crushers.
Cause I'm wanting Flesh Tearer so does that only drop in the second blessing or can it drop in either?
Applying brittleness is meant to be used against the heavy targets that take more hits to bring down due to them wearing carapace.
It can drop in either slot.
Alrighty blue spam here I come
Blessings aren't really checking for slot number. There's nothing inherently special about the first versus the second blessing slot on a weapon.
It's more about the rarity of the weapon when you consecrate, and the blessing weights which we don't know.
Allright, I ended downloading the debuff indicator mod. You are right, Brittleness is applied to every cleaved target. But it stacks additionally each shot. Max I could get was 16 brittleness while fast firing but I dont know if thats the total because crusher die before the 4th shot
Oh you were asking about the maximum number of stacks.
Sorry, I didn't realize.
Yeah it maxes out at 16.
Well it's all I need to perfect my knife for Sly marbo so if I can just roll blues and eventually get it I'll be fine
Either way you're spending plasteel. It's all a zero sum in the end I think.
I'd try upgrading to orange too
Well I'd like to save more in the long run. I've recently used it all on 4 in a row failed full gold upgrades on weapons. So if blue give me the chance less spent in the long run.
I guess it does stop cleaving after a while :D
Does anyone have any idea why my "Dreg Cleaner: Kill every type of Dreg" penance would be stuck at 5/7? I've ran 140+ missions, I'm pretty sure I've killed them all by now.. I've only ever played psyker if that makes any diff? anyone dealt with it before? Thx
whats the difference between elite and specialist?
If I remember correctly, specialists will have a cue associated with them. Typically an audible callout or sound effect like the pilot light of a flamer clicking, or the "Sniper!" callout when it spawns, or the Trapper saying "Hello my pretty".
Anything that does not have that callout is and elite and is something that can be present normally in the map already like ragers, bulwarks, and crushers.
can a unit be elite and specialist at the same time?
No, they're separate categories.
so its better to get elite dmg cuz specialist die fast anyways?
What difficulties have you played at?
Typically it's better to get Carapace armor perks if that's what you're debating.
there are only two carapace units
I got a good roll on specialist but I oneshot them anyway so..
The carapace armor damage bonus is +25%, larger than the elite bonus and often the things that give you the biggest trouble are the enemies wearing carapace like crushers and (currently) ragers (maniacs) due to their health increase.
But obviously this is going to depend more on the weapon in question.
If you're on PC, you can take a screenshot with Windows Key + Shift + S and paste it in here.
Easier to evaluate weapons that way.
Because the maniac and flak categories provide higher damage numbers.
And are also some of the most common enemy armor types you'll encounter.
Rarely is +10% enough damage to reach a breakpoint on a weapon.
But +25% definitely is.
all of them at least once, mostly auric damnation though
my guess is its something to do with only having a single operative? I guess I should try making an alt and killing them all to see if it unsticks it..
nah trash it
does the crucis MK II thunder hammer count as a power weapon for the "master your tools" penance?
it says chain and power weapons
and im worried its not considered a power weapon due to lacking the word Power in it
If you re-bless an item with one you've earned, can you earn it again? Even if the modification limit is reached
Im not sure im understanding your question correctly, but there isnt a modification limit for an item regarding the total number of times you can modify it. It just locks 2 things (perks or blessings) once 2 modifications have been made. After this, you can never change those locked perks/blessings, but the crafted ones can be changed as much as you want.
Also, once you earn a blessing, it can be crafted onto a weapon any number of times
Ohhh. Makes a lot more sense, thanks :p
what's better: Maniac and Flak, Carapace and Flak, or Maniac and Carapace?
if I'm going for only damage perks instead of the crit one
Depends on the weapon in question.
yeah I figured as I asked it
I guess for Plasma it'd be Maniac and Carapace?
since Flak gets killed fairly fast
I'm not actually sure if maniac makes a difference on plasma or not. How close are you to one shotting mutants/ragers/flamers?
i ll take a looksy
nowhere close
Im close to two shotting the berserkers
and close to three shotting the mutant
so I guess I really need Maniac
but I also really need a less shitty damage roll on my plasma gun :(
Yeah if it's bad that may be something you need to account for too.
very bad, but that thermal res :(
yep. Double downer.
Yeah I would be looking to roll for a new plasma gun with better base stats at that point.
been trying all day :D
I don't remember offhand what the stat breakpoints are for plasma gun. But I know #veteran-class knows them.
I think the dump stat is charge rate
so Im looking for something with good everything except charge rate
and ammo can stay at, like, whatever above 60
Yes. Though stopping power is by far one of your most important stats.
With numbers that low, you'd likely be able to get a better one in maybe 100-200k dockets spent at Brunt's.
you'd think so wouldnt you :D
So are curios for health is 20% for max right? and is toughness 16% or is the build website right? And they go to 25% Health, 20% Toughness.
the highest i've seen on health is 21% and that was before patch. And i think i may have seen 17% toughness during beta.
The actual max is 21% for health, 3 for stamina, and 17% for toughness.
The build website hasn't been updated.
I'm getting the feeling that playing strictly support in this game is not viable. I know to do damage when I can and all, but I find more enjoyment buffing people and helping them succeed rather than killing things myself.
Is there a class that supports better than others?
I've played smite/barrier Psyker primarily, but people tend not to like killing the things that are shocked.
Apologies for shoving myself in here.
Typically in the "tide" games especially in Darktide it's more of a "each class has a niche they excel in which involves them being good at killing a particular category of enemy/allowing room for or setting up the space for other classes to kill what they're good at killing more efficiently". Psykers can be by far the most support oriented of all the classes in the game, particularly in terms of creating breathing room and controlling space.
I've had games with shield wall psykers that absolutely trivialized pox hunting grounds and mutant maelstroms.
But I've had far more games with ineffectual shield wall/dome psykers that never really timed them or placed them properly for effective use.
(reading)
In games where psykers do know what they're doing with those, as an executioner's stance veteran it's like a dream. No one ever worries about mutants or dogs as there's always a wall ready to intercept the incoming wave. Gunners and shooters can be safely removed with no pressure applied to me as I draw their fire allowing zealots/ogryns to flank them cleanly.
Smite psykers have the easiest time controlling hordes, dogs, mutants, etc.
There's a bit of a learning curve as I think people haven't realized yet that it's more efficient for them to engage the zapped targets.
Can verify
There's also smite pskyers that think that constantly zapping poxwalkers is helpful when the squad is already safely holding a nice choke to funnel them through.
Pskyers who understand when and how to use smite are leagues apart from those that just stand with their backs to a wall, never pull out their melee, and constantly just zap regardless of the situation.
Folks don't know either that you can shove with a zap too, so rather than holding it down, hit them with a zap and then deactivate on the pox dude
Often immobilizing targets can be counterproductive and even more dangerous if you'd be baiting your teammates to leave a good position to melee stunned enemies out in the open.
Duly noted.
So smite and shield combat are more about situational positioning than overall usage
Caveats of course for teammate skill. If they show they cannot handle mixed bruisers and poxwalkers, then yes they may want help from smite.
But yeah, mindlessly spamming them is at best an annoyance and at worst baiting your team.
The shields are very much about timing and situational awareness. You want to place a good dome? Figure out where your ranged squad members are. Figure out where the enemy's main gun line is. Place the dome to give them breathing room. Or place the dome to force gunners to have to reposition outside of it, preemptively cut off the enemy's line of sight.
Listen for sniper callouts, figure out where they are and use shields as insurance for crossing sightlines.
Barriers block sniper shots?
If so, is that the dome or wall that's able to do that?
Not sure if it's a specific talent, but they have for me as Veteran anyway.
Noted
The sniper wasn't firing, so the shield was treated as impenetrable.
Shields can also force flamers to move closer than they normally would before they start flaming.
They do not prevent bomber grenade flames from spreading on the ground though.
So enemies do react to barriers being placed. I didn't know that
Mutants can collide with a barrier and be stopped by it.
It forces them to restart their charging animation.
Dogs can be stopped by the shield wall as well.
Hunting grounds were a breeze with that psyker.
so, wall is stronger, but it takes more than one brain cell to pull off
Out of the two, I've seen the wall have greater impact.
But that may also be because more less skilled psykers gravitate towards the dome instead.
So I don't always get psykers who are good at using the dome.
im still used to priest gameplay in WoW, so when i saw the dome, I immediately thought two fold damage mitigation. but if the wall has damage mitigation and crowd control, i can see how that might be better overall
we're not coming across flying mobs (yet). I know those will arrive a couple years from now, but i dont think ill have to worry about those lol
thank you tons for the advice. i sincerely appreciate it
Is there any way I can change grenades from down d-pad to left bumper
Why have I never seen toughness curios more than +16%?
17% is the highest currently, and iirc they only exist at either 75/76 base rating and higher
Oh, what about health? The highest I've seen is +20%
Because the highest tier blessings on curios are rare.
21%
17% Toughness. +3 Stamina. 21% Health.
I've seen quite a bit of +3 stamina though
I do have more of those than the others. There's likely a weighting system to them.
are there only 2 "unyielding" enemies in the game? (that being the bulwark and the reaper) or are there other enemies that are classified differently but have unyielding "parts"?
The monsters
asking cuz i'm wondering why ppl take damage perks against unyielding enemies
Chaos Spawns, BoN, Plague Ogryn are all Unyielding
i see...
do you get more mats in auric quickplay than in regular quickpaly on damnation?
No
auric and maelstrom gives the same rewards as damnation, realistically usually 200-300 less
because you will either get wiped
or not have time to split up and go find plasteel in all the random corners
Nobody plays auric for mats, only for the challenge
so it really is just for challenge?
yea, you are isolated for 5 seconds and you'll probably die
it's very hostile for resource farming
standard damnation is where it's at
damn... hi intensity shock trooper gauntlets I found more fun than the usual normal dam runs
yes it's more fun for sure
im at the point where im trying to find some fun in the game. sadge
Then auric is where it's at
but mats will not be the group priority; just survival
auric with randoms gonna give me migraine
btw whats the fastest mission type?
Raid, Strike, Disruption, Assasination?
if I plan to farm mats, i think it would be ideal on shorter maps and mission type
I think assassinations are shortest
ohh okay gotcha. what would be the second to that?
No idea haha. Maybe I'll start writing down data now, I'm curious too
magistrati oubliette is by far the fastest map
can clear it in 15 minutes in damnation and 10 minutes at lower difficulties
hab dreyko might be close if you're onpoint with your scan game
ohhh magstrati? okay. those names are hard to remember hhaah
the assassination map yes
Got this bad boy, what should I change as blessing ?
thunderous to Thrust IV
Specialist to 25 maniac or 25 carapace
whichever enemy type it is you have more issues with
mutants and dreg ragers for the former
crusher and maulers for the latter
after those changes you'll have a near-perfect crucis
Thx , I got Thrust IV recently ! I will try this now 😄
The only thing keeping your hammer from being an absolute godroll is the penetration; if defence was swapped with pen here it'll be so perfect
I dont think current th needs maniac
You already kill mutant with charge heavy, not even thrust
^, if youre willing to test it without maniac
mutant is not the main threat
dreg ragers are the biggest melee threat at the moment in auric in my opinion
their damage, attack speed, mass, stagger value and HP was all increased
and then also their spawn weight
Hmm fair enuff, havent checked their bp as i just gun them down
mutant is already dealt with when you have Thrust 4
Not even thrust required atm
i've been getting these freakishly 6-20 stacks of rager spawns that I've never seen before and they basically down everyone non-ogryn in a couple hits it's ended a couple of my runs recently
Are you able to re-bind or choose a different button layout on controllers? Ideally one that could let me put jump/dodge on the bumpers?
before doing bug report someone can confirm if dodge-slide used 2 dash before patch 13-14 ? because it do now
Just hit level 30 with my first character and started work on her beloved Eviscerator and wondered what advise you would give to upgrade this. The Blessings seem a good combo, but should I go all in and boost crit's more with level 4 perks or boost a damage type? WHat is the most useful damage boost, IE versus Flak / Carapace / specialists / unarmoured etc???
Toss it, this is bad
the ideal combination on Evis is Flak + Maniac and Rampage + Bloodletter / Savage Sweep
whats the penances bug?
same question, why is it bad
The most common armor type in the game is Flak
The most threatening enemies in the game are usually specialists or melee elites namely the Trapper, the Flamer, the Mutant and the Dreg Rager which are Maniac
Higher difficulties introduce a modifier called Shock Troops where the spawn weight of maniacs are cranked up 4 or 5 times
Accounting for these two factors, Flak + Maniac are the best perks on 90% of all weapons in the game
Because with this combination you cover the largest possible base of threats
Since obviously you want your weapon to be good versus more enemies than less enemies
There are a couple of exceptions such as the Thunderhammer, bolter, flamer and plasma gun that prefer Unyielding 25 as one of the perks instead
But other than a single digit number of gear, 50+ weapons want Flak and Maniac
Groaner poxwalker only cover 2 enemy types and specialists also only a small handful, which is what makes your Evis bad
Question: is your accuracy stat also linked to melee swings and grenades?
This is what i asked, thanks. I thought my intention to change them was clear so didn't get what 'it's bad' was referring to 🙂
Gotcha, thank
is the plasteel gathered for everyone?
Yes
the question is, why do you use these blessings and not the other ones?
Rampage gives power which is damage + stagger + cleave
savage sweep gives massive cleave
Every other Evis blessings either only give one of the components above at lesser values or a stat that is not desired
so in terms of strength, rampage + savage sweep is just the best
Versus something like Impact, which will knock opponents over more
But as a player would you rather knock the enemy over or straightup kill them
how is power=cleave?
Most players have decided killing is better than knocking over which is what makes those two blessings the best
power is damage, stagger and cleave
Power blessings are the strongest blessings in the game in general and any weapon with access to a power blessing will usually want it as their BiS blessing
thunderhammer wants Thrust (power), forcesword wants slaughterer (power), tactical axe wants headtaker (power), both bolter and shredder wants pinning fire (power), flamer wants blaze away (power)
There's a pattern there you can recognize
so even when your weapon can hit only 1 enemy then having more power will add cleave to that weapon?
it will add damage, stagger and cleave to the weapon
you will hit harder, kill more, and knock away further the stuff you don't kill
no, because you need to hit to activate the blessing to begin with
the only power blessing in the game that is hitless is Thrust
which is tied to charging time
is it possible to trigger it using only light attacks with evi?
that is the way most people use to trigger it
lights to get 5 stacks
then do a heavy at 5 stacks and it goes through like 15 dudes
hmm
is the additional xp/gold reward already calculated in on the mission department screen when a mission has additional affixes?
Is the resupply allies penance broken for anyone else?
on Vet? Yeah its bugged, among other penances.
Fair enough
Is the accuracy penance bugged at the moment or am I having a skill issue?
Skill issue
how does 3rd and 4th shot in salvo work?
From the icon it looks like its 2nd and 3rd shot and if i charge too long it wont work
deadeye penance is stuck at 4 out of 5 and ive killed hundreds of highlighted enemies and its still not fully unlocked
You have to attack any highlighted weak spot 5x in a row without missing
The game measures a salvo from when a gun's recoil/reticle bloom begins to when it fully resets. That is 1 salvo.
Should I keep my charge or get the power of Christ compels you
I prefer charge, especially with the stagger nerf
Depend on what you play like
does anyone know what happened to the devils claw mk 4 i cant find it in brunts armory
Saw your post
my post?
on the forum
Oh then someone has the same problem
could someone help me with a no damage penance?
Is it on Psyker too ?
im on veteran i havent checked if its the same for other classes
Ah the post was on Psyker, could you do a screenshot of Brunt ? That way I'll add it to the post
others have been mentioning it as well, it is not confirmed but we believe it was removed from the shop
no idea for how long or for what reason
oh alright thanks for lettin me know
Highest level of difficulty you completed for that mission on your account.
The skulls are decorative. It's the number of chevrons that count difficulty as I recall.
Can't remember if Damnation is 4 chevrons and 1 skull above them.
Can i still complete the redacted penances?
yes
Can someone drop video settings board? Like which settings gives more FPS?
@tardy patio mic broken should fix soon
So that last hotfix broke all my mods. Tried updating them, but nothing seems to have been fixed. It may just be that I'm new to using Vortex, but do I just have to wait until the collection or the mods update?
have you ran the bat file again ?
No, let me try that and get back to you
Hmm, nope, still no mods running. Unless... wait, shit, do I have to launch through Vortex to make it work?
Oh ffs, my load order completely blanked itself
RIGHT, now that that's done, seems to work
for a few days, this number has not changed. im pretty sure ive been doing data interrogation missions, including scanning with auspex. am i missing something here?
I believe those track you fixing the data interrogators.
Is this worth dropping 2500 melk bucks for?
Has anyone had issue with getting voice chat to work? I'm on PC
For riposte blessing
Do I need to dodge an actual attack or spamming dodge works too?
how do I know which mission types I have done for the penances?
like "complete each mission type"
if u surrender to earn a blessing, is it shared to every weapon that uses that blessing or just that one kind of weapon?
Blessings are weapon family specific. I.E All Kantrael lasguns can be reblessed with Headhunter tier 4 if you earn it from a Kantrael MG XII.
The only way you would know is by cross referencing penances and checking the chevron icons under a mission on the board that tell you the highest difficulty you've completed that mission on for that account.
And that method isn't foolproof sadly.
An attack that would've dealt damage has to be avoided.
The stat bars are in god roll territory. The flak perk is perfect. Blessings would ideally be Surgical and Onslaught at tier 4.
It's not perfect. It's also a mk1, so take that as you will if you like that variant.
If you have nothing else, it's a better than average intermediary.
Dammit
I'm not picking that than
Btw how is it on zealot since there are alot of talents that count as dodge and all
I've never given helbore an honest try since I've been enjoying IAGs
might take it for a spin since I used to enjoy bolter and revolver way back
I don't play zealot so I can’t help you there, sorry.
Just know that the mk3 has the highest base damage and slowest charge rate. The mk2 has the lowest base damage and fastest charge rate. The mk1 is in-between.
can you explain that again?
You'd look at these and your penances that tell you which missions you've completed. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1043910914027561000/1169377518650929152/image.png?ex=65552eae&is=6542b9ae&hm=cb71058608b4c5e9c24f117d52d58a282c7b493731e2d23b5fb37175f65729e9&
There's no direct way to check because Fatshark doesn't consider it important enough to implement a feature or menu for it.
so it tells me on which lvl max I completed the mission, but not mission type right?
yes
I got a mission showing on tier3 but I did a raid on tier5 already so I guess its just that particular mission?
Chainaxe?

I've been playing malice for a while now, any tips for how I should prepare for heresy/damnation, because I'd like to move up in difficulty and earn more rewards
stay in coherency and focus specialists first
does bleed count towards melee kills for melk missions
There's a lot I could say, but I'll try to keep it brief. I definitely believe that the difficulty jump from malice to heresy is the biggest increase. You should know your class pretty well. From my experience, you want to become self-sufficient. Because the more self-sufficient you are, the more confident you will be. Also, don't panic, that can be a big one. Usually, the enemies that debilitate my team the most, or gets them wiped, are Gunners, Snipers, Trappers, and Bursters. So I am usually on high alert for those enemies and try to remove them first.
What I did was apparently a bit much, but it worked for me. I got the creature spawner mod and learned how to fight the different enemies and what attack patterns they had.
Would you change something for a Veteran Support build ?
It looks perfect the way it is
maybe maniac to flak, but both are just as good, so comes down to personal preference
Can anyone clerify for me which enemies count as maniacs?
