First up don't use airlink it's really bad, use steam link.

Next up is the wifi itself, there's a whole lot of stuff there. First and most importantly make sure your pc is connected to your router with a ethernet cable and you play vr in the same room with it, next up is less devices connected tl the wifi means there's less data being taken up that could go to vr. As for pc side make sure to close stuff before launching vr and easiest is just restart pc before playing vr.
