with tft mostly back to normal, we're getting into the zone of making tft the best it can according to what the community wants/needs, it's time to start collecting feedback. before you mention your feedback, here are a few guidelines:

  • this channel is for you to give us feedback on pretty much anything: channels, services, moderation, tools & tech, what you think works and doesn't work, what could be better, etc.
  • this channel has a long message cooldown (6 hours) and is not intended for back and forth discussion, so just compose your message carefully and edit as needed.
  • the bot will thumbs up/down every message, feel free to thumbs up or thumbs down based on how you feel about the ideas/feedback of others. this server exists for the poe community and your input is valuable.
  • if your message gets deleted, it's either because: 1) it's not feedback, or 2) we've already addressed it or are addressing it.

I'd request not a template but rules even for the non-service general channels such as #🤺│mtx-showcase to stick to the topic of the channel suggested by their names.
Lately it got a bit better but sometimes people spam random stuff in there that simply is annoying to scroll over in the long terms and of which I would love to see be deleted.

A channel similar to #🏰│looking-for-guild where guild masters can post their guilds so players can take contact with them aswell instead of just posting on lf channel.

I would like to suggest a change to how Labyrinth Carries are categorized regarding role requirements. Currently, Lab carries are often grouped with "Leveling Services" which require specific trust roles. However, if a runner operates under a "Pay-on-Success" model, the risk profile is identical to a Boss Carry (which currently does not require a role)🤔

The Build-WTB channel has effectively become a WTT channel. Most people will post their own build as part of the budget.

Can we get a seperate WTT channel and keep the WTB channel limited to currency trades only?

I spoke to some of the development/community team about a previous feature we used to have regarding Live Search bots, and the value it brought to the TFT discord. Depending on the feedback they get from the TFT community, it could be redeveloped if enough people want it (as the code has been lost). I for one loved Live Search bots, especially for niche services like buying Hideouts and Challenges etc. that didn't have as much traffic as some of the other services. Please interact with this post via emojis to express your shared interest! Thanks! ❤️

Hi,
Gold is a huge pain in Standard league. The general rota and services channels are full of people offering different kinds of rotas or services that most of us don't care about, like constant spam about leveling and new character act carry services.
We would really like a dedicated channel just for rota, so we can monitor it and see every post there.
Thanks.

So why exactly was this ignored?

Build channels were always the easiest way to scam on a big amount of currency. People would overprice (by a lot) items that have their almost identical copies on trade. This is why a separate builds WTT was made and then completely removed due to the amount of scams.

Yeah, anyway there's lots of unfair pricing in wts but by allowing anyone (there's literally no requirement to post in wtb so you can sell builds without getting trusted roles) to pay with their build you effectively make people that are honest with their pricing to get scammed by people sometimes offering FAKE, or at least overpriced builds in exchange.

I would consider getting experienced people to mod just these channels. Which is kinda impossible nowadays with hundreds of messages per day in them. And the reason for so many builds being on sale is the lack of moderation again.

I am sure you have bigger fish to fry but I just noticed this and feel it could do with revisiting.

The difference between 4000 vouches and 150 vouches deserve a different notice category rather than both being labelled as "highly trusted role".

Thoughts?

Honestly that never made much sense to me while it is rather simple to have 100 vouches and at least to me it makes a big difference if a person just startet getting a bit of reputation or has gained a lot of reputation.
It still has quite some meaning if a person has reached 100 vouches for sure, too, but there should be a difference between someone has a no trusted role, a trusted role or a highly trusted role and especially the early ones are not highly trusted in comparison but just trusted. Superlatives don't work the way they are applied currently or have been in the past, too.

Hi @glossy zodiac , thanks for looking at this. The new targets still seem out of whack considering the vouching system you currently have in place and how easily it can be manipulated.

I really am trying to approach this without bias.

In it's current state, especially as league end approaches, new members can gain 100+ vouches easy in one day just by offering free services with ZERO risk. A zero risk transaction does not or should not build TRUST IMO.

A 4k unique vouch member should not have the same label as every Tom, Dick and Harry with 200+

Highly trusted should be 1k + uniques. Perhaps even another tier above that of "most trusted" for Immortal and Legednary providers.

I agree with Pidge and also want to add, that this was a change I appreciate, yet I think numbers are still too low to call someone "highly trustable". By selling challenges you don't need much in order to receive 300 vouches, yet I never ever would trust a 300 vouch person to do a mirror service for example. They are not highly trustable, but just trustable.
Numbers might look threatening to newer players, but being highly trustable is hard to earn on purpose in order to mean exactly that in my opinion.

One concern I have with the current mirror-service rule is that raw vouch count is being treated as the main trust metric, even though not all vouches represent the same level of risk or responsibility

Right now, someone can accumulate thousands of “unique” vouches through completely safe benchcraft services on low-value items, while another person may have earned their reputation through years of handling extremely expensive mirror-tier items and high-risk crafting services. Both can end up looking equally trusted in the system despite representing very different levels of experience and accountability

For example, most of my own vouches came from old harvest / Aisling benchcraft services where players regularly handed over very expensive items, and the total value passing through my account over time was easily hundreds of mirrors. Meanwhile, another user could theoretically reach similar vouch numbers through harmless low-risk crafts on random gear. The current system does not really distinguish between those cases

The second issue is the requirement for vendors to pre-mirror items before receiving the buyer’s mirror. While I understand the buyer-protection goal behind this, it creates a significant liquidity and griefing problem for legitimate mirror shops

If I have multiple items listed, several fresh accounts can message me pretending to want copies, forcing me to convert liquid mirrors into mirrored items, then simply disappear or cancel. At that point, I am left holding copies that may take days or weeks to move again, especially in temporary leagues where timing and liquidity matter a lot

I'd really like it if more channels redundantly specified which game they pertain to; I don't consider the channel categories adequate enough.

Channels that redundantly specify the game are intuitive:

I'd like it if those were renamed to

  • game-help-poe1 vs game-help-poe2
  • crafting-help-poe1 vs crafting-help-poe2
  • build-help-poe1 vs build-help-poe2

Redundantly specifying the channel name I think will go a long ways to helping newly arriving 0.5 players find their way to the correct channels (such #🧱│build-help instead of accidentally going to #🧱│build-help). It also means that when I link someone to #🧱│build-help I (and others) can see that I didn't accidentally link them to #🧱│build-help.
