I wish we had the poe2db gem and affix information for 0.5 already, so I can finalize my build choices; I don't even really care about GGG's "patch notes" -- these past many months the official patch notes have been soo incomplete that it's difficult to make build decisions without additional information

They don't release gem info until launch, and even then, we typically have to wait for farmers to get to lvl 19 skills anyways. At least I think. Ggg doesn't release the gem changes ever that I know of. Least they didn't in last league launch

When did you start playing? Or rather, have you never played PoE1? GGG released gem changes in the most recent league even: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3914006. It is something that they do, and frequently have done, but perhaps not for PoE2.
And are you familiar with the name DAT64? Whilst it's certainly possible that gem level information in the dat files is still not yet accessible to tool developers, it would be surprising to me.

It's absolutely asinine to say that the best belt in game (arguably) being cheap means the economy is fucked. With how many headhunters are in the market it SHOULD be cheap. Now yes. Temple is also the reason for that, but that shouldn't mean the economy is fucked.

I've yet to find a single person that can describe a "good" economy as anything other than "not what we have now."

generally speaking to maximize map loot you want rare monsters and item rarity
there isnt much crafting to do besides using an omen to convert all the mods to X type. it’s not worth chaos spamming waystones generally

Multiple occasions. Most recent was Mirage league in PoE1. The English patch notes for Mirage league mentioned a change to Follow-Through that GGG explicitly stated was "purely a descriptive change", but it didn't sound purely descriptive. The community speculated that GGG meant to specify some other notable and that eitherway Follow-Through was not getting nerfed.

However, the Korean patch notes explained it in more detail; the Korean patch notes contained an extra line describing that Follow-Through was getting nerfed via a cap that would now be applied that wasn't there before.

When it became public knowledge, which might have been my doing (I raised attention to it everywhere I could), the English patch notes were updated to include the missing line.

I'd link the saga (which has screenshots and diffs, and feedback from many notable individuals), but with the recent events, a lot of history on Discord has been lost.

How uncommon (of a drop) is Mirror of Kalandra and Hinikora Lock? In 100+ solo runs in my temple, I have not had a single Mirror or Lock drop. I have seen some Mirror and Lock drops in Temple Leech runs with a full roster of players, but I was wondering how people actually got these Mirrors and Locks to drop outside of temple in their juiced maps, like ever?!! Because no map can be as juiced (running solo) as a fully built temple, right??!!

Stormweaver/Chronomancer ran CoC Comet just fine and clicked their mana flasks on bosses

Anyhow good patch overall, just very strange they didn't touch the Cast on * directly

coc/coea was never really the problem though. there's not really anything inherently wrong with it. The problem lies with what's socketed in it. And comet did get a small nerf, which will compound through scaling.

furthermore, leech was nerfed heavily which will make life casting much harder and force people into building around other regen sources and not so heavily into crit.

It’s because of the changes they listed immediately following that one. Anyone corrupting or sanctifying an item will now want to divine it as perfectly as possible first which will cause divine usage to go up

i don't agree. a compromise was made though, std/hc channels now have 1/2 at the end to at least cut down on the amount of channels in the autofill list
